This thesis, on the basis of the analysis between leadership types presented by precedent studies, aims at looking into a relationship between leadership types of golf leaders and satisfaction with leadership, satisfaction with need that organization members get or experience through leading, and leadership, processes or results that members show to attain organization targets or subjects. In addition, this thesis intends to help present leadership types and improve with the result that golf leaders have to hold, to offer the result as a basic material useful to satisfy golf participants’ needs and satisfaction maximumly, and furthermore to help manage sports-for all golf enthusiasts. This thesis selected golf course participants residing in Gwangju-si in February, 2010 as an exemplary group, drew samples by random sampling method, performed a questionnaire inquiry by self-administrated method, and used total 374 persons’ materials for the last analysis. This thesis performed a frequency analysis with SPSS for Win Version 17.0 statistic program, performed an Exploratory Factor Analysis, and calculated Cronbach’s a coefficient to prove validity and reliability. Next, this thesis, before verifying influence between respective factors, performed pearson’s Correlation Analysis to examine influence between respective factors, performed Multiple Regression Analysis and Simple Regression Analysis, and to verify suitability of study mode with Analysis Mment Of Structures Version 4.0, this thesis performed Structural Equation Mode. Through the processes, this thesis leaded to the conclusion as followings. First, as for the types of golf leaders’ leadership, movement-centered leading, explanation-centered leading and feedback factors had a significant influence on satisfaction with leading statistically. Second, as for the types of golf leaders’ leadership, movement-centered leading, real game centered leading, showing-centered leading, and feedback factors had a significant influence on leading fruits statistically. Third, golf leaders' satisfaction with leading had a significant influence on leading fruits statistically. As for the causal relationship between factors on the influence verification, first on the basis of the influence examination, in leadership types, explanation-centered leading, showing-centered leading, and feedback factors had a significant influence on satisfaction with leading. In leadership types, movement-centered leading, real game-centered leading, and explanation-centered leading had a significant influence on leading fruits. Third, satisfaction with leading and leadership had a significant influence.

The purpose of this study was to provide a way to increase reuse by analysing the effect of service quality marketing mix on the satisfaction of participation for those who visit a driving range in JE-JU DO. The participants of this research were selected from those who use a driving range located in JE-JU DO, and 371 surveys were answered and analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The results are as follows. First. Among the factors of service quality marketing mix, satisfaction of participation, and reuse intention, there is one negative relation between price and reuse, and the rest have positive relation. Second. Products, place and promotion positively influence on the satisfaction of participation (in the relation between the marketing mix's factors of driving range's service quality). but, the price does not effect on the satisfaction of participation. 3. The satisfaction of participation positively influence on the intention of reuse.

This study analyzed drainage type system for sports field and golf course. Drainage type system is important for growth of cool-season turfgrass during summer heavy rain season in Korea. Drainage material of tree type were analyzed. 1. Drainage type system for turfgrass rootzone are perforated circle type pipe, belt type pipe, perforated panel type pipe. Perforated circle type pipe have a circle hole on the girth of pipe with 75~100 mm diameter. Belt type pipe(Drain belt) is a thin strip of flexible pvc in the shape of a belt(thick 2 mm × width 200 mm), with a series of grooves and channels evenly distributed through the body of the belt and open for water collection on the underside. Perforated panel type pipe have a thin and tetragonal hole on the surface of pipe with 38 mm thick × 300 mm width. 2. Drainage principle of perforated circle type pipe and perforated panel type pipe use gravitational water in soil. However belt type pipe is designed to separate the soil particles from the water in the same way as nature using capillary water, surface tension and syphon in soil. 3. Advantage of belt type pipe can collect effectively more water than others without clogging or crushing. Water drainage rate of it is almost 2 to 7 times as fast because it has a lot of hole per square meter(hole area 0.041/m2). 4. Belt type pipe can be installed along curve of ditch and undulation of soil. It can reduce the cost because it establish without gravel and special treatment layer and don't need to dig deeply than perforated circle type pipe.

This research compares and analyzes cases of Korea, England, America, and Canada College & University curriculum of golf department and subsequently inquire into means to improve Korea University curriculum of golf department. For this purpose Konkuk University, Kyunghee University, Yongin University, Semyung University, Chung-ang University, Joongbu University, Hoseo University of Korea, Guildford College, Hartpury College of England, PGCC, Arizona State University, Stanton University, Pennsylvania State University, Ferris State University of America, Holland College, Lethbridge Community College, Humber College, Camosun College of Canada have been selected. In order to determine ways to improve Korean educational programs, the analysis was based on the aims and curriculums of each golf university. This research introduces the following method to improve curriculums of golf department in Korea University. First, each university must establish a clear and specific goal. Specialized education goals must be diversified even within degrees must be issued thus expanding the field of education systematically. Second, curriculum in which other departments and universities are connected should be builded so that golf education may be conducted systematically and or professionally leading to consistent education in golf. Third, various specialized programs in which internal/external golf industry are involved should be established to expand the field of golf education. This subject shall provide an opportunity for students to utilize their acquired knowledge, and get a job in various fields. Such methods shall construct an advanced education system and lead to a specialized and differentiated golf education. Moreover, such golf education shall promote students with professional talent contributing to establish an enhancement on golf education.

Distance control was tested depending upon uneven lie angles 0o, 5o, 10o and 15o using 3-wood, 6-iron, pitching club. As lie angle increases, the distance from playing a shot keeps off from the target. Increasing club number has shown to decrease the effect of the lie angle. Lie approximately 10 ° angle increasingly promotes a club. As the distance to the target increases, the uncertainty to green become large and so the effect of lie angle becomes very much larger. Therefore, adjustment training for golfer is required for lie angles depending on each club.

The purpose of this study was to analyze successful marketing cases from various industry and tried to fine marketing techniques for adopting to the golf industry. Several successful business cases were studied such as E-mart, Mercedes- Benz, Swatch, and Parkland. These cases suggested customer relationship marketing strategies as follow. 1. recruiting professional personnel by part, 2. increase brand value by best service, 3. induce new method escaping from old way, 4. cheaper, better, faster way. In conclusion, the core of relationship marketing strategies in golf service industry is to increase market share by improvement of tangible service quality as well as responsiveness, empathy, authenticity, reliability, service quality and to increase customer loyalty by developing better service quality. Therefore, from this perspective, development of relationship marketing programs and efforts must be strengthened.

The purpose of this study is finding out the effect of stress and self-confidence on professional golfers’ performance. This study is to emphasize the importance of mental skills that improve professional golfers’ performance by keeping positive psychological factors without any negative factors. For this study, 181 participants were sampled from KPGA and KLPGA professional golfers using convenient sampling method, and then frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 15.0 program. Results revealed from these research methods and analyses of data are as follows: First, as a result of verifying difference in performance by demographic characteristic, male players are better than female players by gender. Then comes players with a long career over 11years, players with 8-10years and players with shorter than 7years in that order by career. Then comes over 11times, 6-10times and fewer than 5 in that order by playing on the course in a month. Second, as a result of verifying difference in performance by self-confidence, proving ability has positive effect and physical and mental preparation has negative effect. Third, as a result of verifying difference in performance by stress, household problems have positive effect and environmental problems have negative effect statistically.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of participation and satisfaction of Golf Course work which the students took as major class to select or change their career choice through a questionnaire. This study surveyed from the 20 males 10 females golf major students of K University in C city. The survey was conducted by random sampling method and the results showed that students felt more difficulty for theoretical training than skill training and overall appeal to worry about their future career. Also, students were very interested in golf-related industries and do some extra preparation for that. For the question of benefits of major classes to decide their job, 15 students (50%) were helpful and the remaining 15 students (50%) answered not greatly help. It was speculated that major classes to students in choosing their career were a little bit insufficient. Students who have high participation and understanding of the course were more interest in the golf industry and better grades and eventually influenced to self- select career prospects. Thus, the college as higher education should consider the students in terms of educational care and develop course work system to provide more opportunities and assistance for self-development through education.
