최근 병사들의 군 생활 적응과 그들의 복지, 군의 변화에 대한 기대와 우려, 사회적인 관심이 집중되고 있는 현실이다. 이에 본 연구는 병사들의 생활만족에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대해 살펴봄으로써 병사들을 위한 사회복지 실천 대안을 마련하고자 수행되었다. 연구의 구체적 목적은 병사의 개인적 특성 요인에 따라 군생활 만족에 차이가 있는 지를 살펴보고, 또한 병사의 개인적 특성과 함께 다양한 변수들(심리적 요인, 타인요인, 부대생활요인)이 군생활 만족에 미치는 상대적인 영향력을 보고자 하는 데 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 경기도에서 군복무를 하고 있는 현역 병사들로 비확률표본추출 방법 중 의도적 표본추출(purposive sampling)방법에 의해 추출되었다. 조사기간은 2011년 9월 한달동안 수행되었으며, 자기기입식 설문지를 활용하였다. 총 300부의 설문 중 응답이 불성실하거나 누락된 케이스를 제외한 262명이 최종적으로 분석에 사용되었다. 분석방법은 t-검증과 일원분산분석, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석이 사용되었다. 주요연구결과를 보면 첫째, 군 복무기간, 건강상태, 입대 전 고민문제에 따라 군생활 만족도의 통계적인 유의한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 군생활 만족도와 관련변수들(부대생활요인, 심리적 요인 등)간의 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 셋째, 다중회귀분석결과 최종모형에서는 집단갈등, 건강, 대인관계, 스트레스 해소, 학력, 역할갈등, 상급자와의 갈등 변수 등이 통계적으로 유의하게 군생활 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 군생활에 어려움을 호소하는 병사들을 위해 개별적인 상담 강화, 군과 지역사회복지기관간 협력관계 구축 강화 등 군 사회복지의 제도화를 통해 안정을 도모할 수 있음을 시사한다.

The military life satisfaction problems of soldiers became a important social issue recently. This study is to investigate the affecting factors on the military life satisfaction of soldiers in social welfare perspectives. The specific objectives of this study is to analyze the differences of military life satisfaction by demographic characteristics of survey respondents, and to find the impact of various factors including psychological and other person factors on the dependent variable. The study objects were soldiers who serve the military in Kyounggi Province. The data were collected through the self-administered questionnaire with the purposive sampling method. 262 cases were used finally. The method of analysis is t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows; first, military life satisfaction level was different by military serving period, health status, worrying problem before entering the military. These results were statistically significant. Second, military life satisfaction was highly correlated with various independent variables such as military life factors and psychological factors. Third, the independent variables such as group conflict, health status, human relationship, stress buster, academic level, role conflict, and conflict with supervisors were affects statistically significant on military life satisfaction. These results implies that systematic social welfare system in military setting such as individual counseling for soldiers and cooperation network system between military and community social welfare organization will necessary in the future.

본 연구는 사회적으로 관심의 대상이 되지 못하고 있는 직업군인들을 대상으로 경제적 스트레스가 아내폭력에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고, 이 관계에서 우울의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 전국의 공군 부대를 직접 방문하여 기혼인 장교와 부사관 340명을 조사하였으며, 응답이 불성실한 8부를 제외한 332부를 SPSS 18.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 직업군인들의 경제적 스트레스는 장기적인 경기 침체로 인해 실질적으로 체감하는 스트레스 정도가 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 조사대상자 중 34.9%는 지난 1년간 아내에게 언어적폭력을 하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 16.6%는 배우자에게 신체적폭력을 가하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구모형을 검증한 결과 직업군인의 경제적 스트레스가 아내폭력에 정적인 방향으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 매개변인인 우울은 완전매개효과를 보여주었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 직업군인들의 아내폭력 문제에 대해 효과적으로 개입하고 예방하는 함의를 제시하고자 한다.

The Purpose of this study is to verify the impacts of economic stress among occupational military personnels on the intimate partner violence(IPV), and the mediating effects of depression among them. For this study, 332 occupational military personnels were surveyed from Air Force Units. The results of this study are as follows: First, owing to the long period of economic recession, the economic stress which occupational military personnels subjectively perceive was high. Second, 34.9 per cent of the subjects inflict verbal aggression against their wives and 16.6 per cent of the subjects batter their wives during past 12 months. Third, the economic stress of the surveyed impacts on the IPV positively, depression mediates the relation from economic stress to IPV as well. Based on these findings, implications to prevent and intervene in the IPV of occupational military personnels are suggested.

본 연구는 군인 가족복지 프로그램을 계획할 때 고려해야 할 사항을 제안하고자 군인배우자의 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 육군·해군·공군 배우자 중 자녀가 있는 1,278명의 자료를 사용하였다. 위계적 회귀분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 육군·해군·공군 배우자는 공통적으로 경제적으로 여유롭거나 활동적인 여가활동을 활 때 삶의 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 거주와 관련된 주관적인 만족도를 통제하면 관사에 거주하거나 생활환경 하위지역에 거주하는 것은 오히려 군인배우자의 삶의 만족도와 정적 관계를 보였다. 셋째, 육군배우자의 삶의 만족도는 해군이나 공군배우자에 비해 거주 환경에 의해 더 큰 영향을 받았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 경제, 가족여가, 부부관계 및 부모-자녀관계 증진프로그램과 이러한 프로그램 발굴·중개·평가를 담당할 군사회복지지원체계의 확립을 제안하였다.

This study explored the factors which we need to consider when we design social services for military families, especially focusing on the life satisfaction of military wives. From the survey collected from the wives of the army, the navy, and the air force, we used the data from the families who have a child(ren) (n=1,278). The main research findings are as follows. First, the higher satisfaction levels of economic conditions and active leisure activities led to the higher life satisfaction of military wives. Second, controlling for the satisfaction levels with living environments, living in a remote area or in an military apartment building (a type of official residence) increased the life satisfaction, which suggests unexamined but positive effects of these characteristics. Third, compared with those of the navy and the air force wives, the life satisfaction levels of the army wives were more strongly influenced by the quality of the living environments. Based on these findings, this study suggested implementation of financial management programs, family leisure programs, and programs that promote family relationships, and establishment of the military welfare system, which would deliver these programs available in the community to the military section.

본 연구는 징병단계에서와 훈련소 단계에서의 군 복무에 부적응자에 대한 식별 및 관리상황을 파악하고, 군복무 부적응을 만드는 개인적 요인과 더불어 환경적 요인들을 심도있게 분석하여 맥락적인 상호작용에 대한 양상과 효과적인 식별 및 관리 상황을 제안하고자 실시된 연구이다. 이를 위해 2012년 4월~6월에 걸쳐 교육단장, 병영생활 전문상담관, 군의관, 신병대대장, 참모, 인사담당자, 법무관, 교육대대장, 지휘관, 복무관리과장, 임상심리사 등을 대상으로 표적집단면접을 실시하였다. 연구결과에 따라 군사회복지 제도의 도입, 군정신건강지원센터의 설치, 군복무 부적응자 조기식별 강화 정책, 심대상자 치료비에 대한 국가적 지원, 군 관련 책자 배포 및 홍보의 강화, 인권교육 프로그램의 개발 및 보급, 병영생활전문상담관의 확대 배치 및 근무여건 개선, 지역사회 거점중심의 군, 관, 민의 효과적인 네트워크 구축 및 연계 등이 제안되었다.

This research is to find out how military misfits are distinguished and managed in selective service and recruit training stage, to deep analysis personal factors and environmental factors which cause military maladjustment, and to suggest effective distinguish management system upon contextual interaction. For this, focus group interviews were held from april to june 2012 to education battalion commander, special military counselors, surgeons, military judicial officers, human resources officers, manager of service and management, and clinical counselors. From the result, the following researches are to be suggested: the introduction of military social workers, the operation of military mental health center, intention of publicity booklet on military, early distinguishing program of military misfits, medical support to candidates, development and dissemination of human rights education program, expansion of arrangement for special military counselors, improvement on physical environment, making close connections within military-government-private network.

This study was designed to examine the relationship between marital quality and organizational commitment and seize the mediation effect between them. The objects of this research were married associate noncommissioned officer(staff sergeant, sergeant, master sergeant, yarn, warrant) and 350 questionnaires were analyzed. To examine the mediating effects of psychological well-being(depression, life satisfaction) between marital quality and organizational commitment, regression analysis was adapted with the procedure of Baron & Kenny(1986)'s Scale. The results were showed that depression had complete mediating effects on the relationship between marital quality and organizational or affective commitment. And Life satisfaction had partial mediating effects on the relationship between marital quality and organizational or affective commitment.
