Recently, the attraction for water-based ink is increasing, Because Solvent ink, based on organic solvent, cause bad effect on environment and rise the cost. Instead of organic solvent that cause environment pollution as well as cost-rise by rise of petroleum price, Binder based on alkali-soluble resin is popular and studied by many other country. However, in domestic, research and development for alkali-soluble resin is not like, because of lack of understanding environmental pollution and safety, therefor alkali-soluble resin development and research for the properties of the water-based ink used by alkali-soluble resin is not study very well. In this paper, we studied dispersion of carbon black in acrylic resin solution and the properties of water-based ink used by carbon black and acrylic binder.

Wavelet transformation in image compression is to offer higher image compressibility and high-quality by quantization and entropy encoding. More image quality is good that reconstructed image by wavelet calculation than acquire cosine transform. Therefore, wavelet itself is function if it is wavelet's feature, in this function, do processing applying difference scale and resolution. That is, this is not that fixed resolution has been decided like existent compression way, when it regulated scale, damage goes in pixel and picture looks like break without giving damage entirely in reflex even if magnify or curtail Decoding. Therefore, this paper is in Image that using new wavelet application compression way research that see applies comparing In each image noted this time compressing step by step with circle image compression efficiency recognize. Also, estimated quality pass through by printing of compressed image, investigated compression ratio of most suitable that get print of high quality and elevation of transmission speed.

The removal of chelated copper from anthraquinone dyes by cementation on powdered iron was studied. The removal of chelated copper was found to be a function of solution pH, amount of NTA and iron, and reaction temperature. In the presence of NTA, reaction rate of cementation was found to be strongly dependent on reaction temperature, solution pH, amount of NTA and amount of iron powder. These experimental results can be explained successfully by the distribution of complexed copper iron in solutions.

For the efficient work of map printing and quality improvement, we experimented on abrasion-resistance and beam-endurance of 5 kinds of map papers (offset paper, art paper, domestic map paper, foreign map paper, and Tyvek paper). The results obtained that imported and domestic map paper were superior to the others in endurance-proof.

The suspension polymerization of styrene was carried out to obtain the narrow-size distribution of particle by using poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) as suspension stabilizer according to the degree of hydrolysis and the molecular weight. The stabilizing properties of suspension are also dependent on the interfacial tension of aqueous solution when PVA is added. When the polymerization process was carried out with low hydrolyzed PVA, it gave single, well-defined particles, while high hydrolyzed PVA gave clusters. The size of particle produced in this study ranged between 5 and 10. The suspending agent, PVA, influences on the drop size and drop stability, When the molecular weight of PVA is increased, the drop size decreases and the drops become more stable toward coalescence. An increase in the PVA concentration decreases the mean drop size and narrows the drop size distribution.

Recently, the research about color matching for the input/output devices of printing process is progressing rapidly by the digitization. The calibration method of flatbed scanner widely used as an input device for prepress process is especially important for color proofing of high quality color prints. In this paper, scanner calibration method using 3-dimensional look-up table and tetrahedral interpolation was examined and analysed comparatively on the three kinds of original copies, such as photograph, dye sublimation proof and ink jet print for IT8.T/2 target.

An acid amplifier is defined as an acid-generating agent which is decomposed autocatalytically to produce new strongly acidic molecules in a non-liner manner, The addition of the acid amplifiers to conventional chemically amplified photoresists consisting of photoacid generators and acid-sensitive polymers result in the improvement of photosensitivity due to the amplified generation of catalytic acid molecules as a result of the decomposition of acid amplifiers. We synthesized and evaluated 1-hydroxy-4-tosyloxy cyclohexane(AA-1) and 1,4-ditosyloxy cyclohexane(Ah-2) as novel acid amplifiers. The acid amplifiers(AA-1, AA-2) showed reasonable thermal stability for resist processing temperature. As estimated by the sensitivity curve, tort-butyl methacrylate homopolymer(ptBMA) film doped with AA-1 or 2 exhibited much higher photosensitivity than ptBMA film without AA-1 or 2. And AA-1 showed higher effect than AA-2 on enhancing photosensitivity of ptBMA film.

Cathode ray tubes (CRT) are the most common electronic display in use in information technology. The CRT consists of an electron gun, electrostatic or magnetic fields to direct the electron beam, and a phosphor screen. When the electron beam strikes the phosphor screen, the phosphor generates light. The phosphor screen has formed by precipitation method, electro-forming and centrifuge method. The high quality product was achieved by electro-forming or centrifuge method. Now applying method is electro-forming used with phosphor and Eh(isopropyl alcohol). Now applying method has been much consumption of raw-material, dirty working environment, dangerous fire and require of high cost. New method to form phosphor surface of monochrome is required to improve this matter. This study was developed novel method to form the phosphor surface by heat-transfer method. This method have advantages of simple process, automatization, clean environment, saving raw material and saving running-cost.

We designed the illumination optical system to use Fresnel lens which is the most general type of large aperture system. The normal construction of Fresnel lens is a thin molded piece of material, usually some kind of plastic, with one side flat and the other comprising a series of concentric segments each angled in a way to provide for optimum focusing for a pair of conjugate points. The 155 mm Marine Signal Lantern is the approved for use on buoys and a maximum omnidirectional range of 8 nmi, can be obtained with standard 12V equipment, respectively. Finally, Fresnel lens with 155 mm diameter was designed and evaluated. Also, we re-designed groove "out" of Fresnel lens and compared results of groove "in" type with groove "out" type. According to the results, Fresnel lens is obtained best optical results when grooved side faces the longer conjugate.de faces the longer conjugate.

The literature often mentions the hardness of water in dampening solutions as possible source of problem. In most literature describes that the water hardness affects print quality. However water hardness affects not only print quality, but also emulsification of ink and dampening solution. Therefore the purpose of this study was to determine if water hardness actually affects the emulsification rate of dampening solution and ink. And this study for the factors determining the emulsion velocity, we have measured water pick-up and calculated emulsion velocity constant 'k' and activation energy.

전자사진용 화상시스템의 화상개선 알고리즘

전자사진은 디지털 기술의 급속한 발전에 의하여 그 응용 범위가 확대되고있으나, 은염사진과 원리와 특성이 근본적으로 다르며 은염사진에 익숙한 사용자에게도 은염사진과 유사한 특성을 보이도록 화상의 개선과 화질의 보정 등이 요구된다. 본 논문은 은염사진의 계조 특성을 추출하여 전자화상시스템에 적용시켜 은염사진의 계조 특성을 지닌 전자화상을 출력하는 방법을 제시한다. 먼저, 은염사진과 전자사진의 화상 생성 공정을 구체적으로 비교하여 그 차이를 기술하고, 사진 계조 변환의 원리와 방법을 제시한다. 다음으로 사진 계조 변환함수를 구하기 위한 각 시스템의 특성화의 실험을 수행한 결과를 보인다. 최종적으로 이론을 바탕으로 한 실험에서는 사진 계조로 변환된 데이터를 디지털 화상시스템으로 출력하여 은염사진의 계조 특성의 비교분석을 수행한다.

A study on electronic imaging system with silver halide photography emulation by a parametric approach will be introduced. The study contains the comparison analysis between silver halide imaging process and electronic imaging process, the characterization of the detailed process in those imaging chains, such as exposure, developing, photographic print and the other photographic and digital process. We investigated the characteristic curve between optical density and the amount of exposure in silver halide and digital photography systems. Under wide range of exposure condition, several sensitometric parameters were obtained via studio and outdoor photographic experiments with conventional photography and a digital camera. whose experimental results will be shown. Finally, the comparison between electronic imaging and conventional photography via silver halide photography emulation and modeling the silver halide process wi13 be discussed.

PNG 파일 이미지를 이용한 웹 인쇄물 적용에 관한 연구

JPEG is good for full color representation but is poor in quality of image because of the small size and the losing compression ways. GIF is a kind of format style made for image - transmission in Compuserve which is a method of PC communication in U. S. A and now is used in world wide web owing to the efficiency of file compression and transmission. But GIF only is used 256 colors, so the images in web has a poorer quality of colors effect to be compared with those of printed catalogues. Also there can be licence problems when the images is used for commercial uses because the possession is Compuserve. The PNG is a way that the total advantages of JPEG and GIF. PNG image file is a more skillful (bitmap display unit), shows a high quality image like TIFF image about, gives superior compression , a 10% to 30% represents full color, 256 color, gray like JPEG. GIF file which uses LZW compression file is a thing which pays licence, In other hands, PNG is free from licence and more skillful image processing method against image error, and it is possible to conserve the color information. Therefore, this treatise is about how various images which are utilized for commercial printings in web, can be made into PNG files about the compression file. And the representation of image by compared the G]U images with JPEG images as well as compression file and the representation of image the superiority of color representation. In addition, 1 check out how much ranges the PNG files are available for electronic publish printing.
