Most important step for the color matching in scanner is the color coordinate transformation from the scanner RGB space to device independent uniform color space. A variety of color calibration technologies have been developed for input device. Linear or nonlinear matrices have been conveniently applied to correct the color filter's mismatch with color matching function in scanners. The color matching accuracy is expected to be further improved when the nonlinear matrices are optimized into subdivided smaller color spaces than in single matrix of the entire color space. This article proposed the scanner calibration method using subspace division regression analysis and it were compared with conventional method.

플라티늄포르피린 핵과 주위에 8, 16, 32 그리고 64 개의 벤질 단위를 갖는 새로운 덴드리머를 압력 감지형 페인트에 사용할 발광체로 합성하였다. 플라티늄포르피린 핵을 갖는 제 1 세대의 덴드리머는 Lindsey형 합성법을 이용하여 제조하였으며, 제 2 세대에서 제 4 세대까지의 플라티늄포르피린 핵을 갖는 덴드리머는 플라티늄 테트라키스(3,5-디히드록시페닐)포르피린을 적합한 덴드론 브로마이드와 Williamson 에테르 합성법에 따라 알킬화반응시켜 제조하였다. 이러한 에테르 연결의 생성 반응들은 CO와 18-크라운-6를 사용하여 아세톤 용매에서 질소 기류 하에서 6에서 수행하였을 때 가장 좋은 결과를 주었다. 그리고 이렇게 합성한 덴드리머들을 H-NMR, C-NMR, Mass spectrum 이용하여 구조를 확인하고, 그리고 UV-VIS spectroscopy를 이용하여 분광학적인 특성을 조사하였다.

Rheological properties of ink and Ink-Water balance are the important factors in lithographic printing. Laboratory test method which determines the emulsification rate of dampening solution and ink has been described. The emulsification theory and laboratory test method deduced from Surland and it has become a useful tool for the industry. The effects of pH value and surface tension of dampening solution on the emulsification rate has been tested by many researcher. In this paper we focused on the factors which influence in the emulsification such as pH and surface tension of dampening solution and emulsifying temperature. To study on the factors determining the emulsion velocity, we have measured water pickup and calculated emulsion velocity constant 'k' and activation energy.

The combination of a silicone surfaced plate and high viscosity ink produced a waterless printing system that worked well, but had limitation. The limitation was that this system was restricted to relatively short run lengths. In the waterless printing process, the press tended to heat up rapidly. Heat in turn, broke down the resins in the inks, causing them to become more fluid. When the ink is heated, the viscosity will drop, the ink will become too liquid and the plate will no longer be able to resist it. The ink will adhere to the non-print portions of the plate, and will print as a very fine mist or speckle pattern in the non-image area. On the other hand, when the ink gets too cold, viscosity will increase until ink transfer is impeded. This study carried otu to investigate the effect of temperature variations of the inks on the print quality in waterless lithography and to examine the adaptability of waterless lithography to conventional offset press without cooling system.

본 연구는 현재 제작 배포된 한국신문광고, 9단 7칼럼 4칼라 변형광고를 중심으로 활자체와 색상에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 조사결과, 한글과 영문을 사용한 카피가 자주 사용되고 있었으며, 읽기 쉬운 신명조체와 고딕체가 카피에 가장 많이 사용되고 있었다. 두드러진 것은 복잡한 생상의 활용이었다. 배경색도 매우 다양화되어 있었으며, 특히 이에 따른 카피에 사용된 색상은 매우 복잡한 형태를 취하고 있었다. 조사결과로부터 활자체의 통일성과 색상의 다양성에 따른 광고의 구독률에 대한 조사가 실시되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

Visual and color in Korean newspaper advertisements appeared in transformational advertising (21cm30.4cm) were analyzed. Data were gathered from 191 advertisements shown on major four daily newspaper; Dong-a, Joong-ang, Chosun, and Hanguk from October to December in 2000. From the results of this research, researcher concluded the followings; Both Korean and English are frequently used. With expectation of high readability, Roman/serifs and San serifs are mostly used typefaces. Selecting color for copy and backgraund in advertisements became more varied to satisfy varied consumers' personality.

This study is to find the effect of the molecular weight distribution of components on the freeness and physical properties of paper by observing the change of properties according the modification of fibers by using production technology and process technology together to develop additives which can effectively control according to the purpose of paper-making process and by combining low molecular weight cellulase (below MW 20,000; CMC activity 400 unit) with different enzyme's molecular weight and activity and high molecular weight cellulase(MW 20,000∼80,000;CMC activity 90,000 unit) and then process them in Sw-BKP(Softwood Bleached Kraft Pulp) and Hw-BKP(Hardwood Bleached Kraft Pulp) and Cotton Linter Pulp and OCC(Old Corrugated Container) with different properties of pore of surface of fibers respectively, since it is judged that making the appropriate composition ratio of components is necessary in consideration of the properties of fibers and paper-making process.

This study confirmed different results according to the molecular weight and pore properties of treated pulp. In this study the pre-treated enzyme material was increasing the beating speed compared with non-treated one. And it was observed that the change of freeness according to the combination ratio depended upon the pores size of pulp and that fibers became flexible owing to the physical deformation of fibers themselves through pre-treated enzyme increasing the flexibility of fibers to increase the contact area of fiber and thus resulting in the increase of specific surface area, the increase of fiber bonding strength and the increase of beating speed.
