Reproduced colors which are half-tone dot printed at the rate of 10, 20, 30, 100% half-tone dot area by each process ink-cyan, magenta and yellow ant at the rate of 10, 20, 30, 100% by the mean color mixing of black, cyan, magenta and yellow, are colorimetric analyzed by make use of the 1931 CIE XYZ system of color specification and matching the Munsell color system. With increased half-tone areas, 1. Yellow has ideal reflectance curve, but magneta has nonideal reflectance curve. 2. Yellow and cyan have almost standard dominant wavelengths but magenta has complementary wavelengths. 3. Yellow has higher excitation purities in primary colors, but low excitation purities in secondary and third colors. 4. Value function is decreased and generally the range of value function in chromaticity diafgram is extented. 5. The properties of black and CMY printed materials have not equality, therefore black process ink is necessery in half-tone printing process.

천연색 사진에서 전사과정중 발색화합물을 Polaroid 사 제품과 Kodak사 제품을 선정하여 고찰하였다. 이들 화합물은 초기에 Alkali 가동이거나 불가동이었다. Alkali 가동 화합물은 분해에 의하여 상적으로는 불가동화가 요구되며 Alkali0불가동 화합물은 상적으로 가동화가 요구된다. 고찰겨과 Polaroid사 제품은 Alkali 가동을 나타내며 Kodak제품은 Alkali불가동을 나타냇다.
Color providing compounds on image transfer process in color photo graphy was studied with polaroid and Kodak products as a model. These compounds was inititally alkali-mobile or alkali-immobile. Alkali-mobile compunds require imagewise immobilifation in the process or alkali immoble compounds require mobilization by the cleavage reaction. 현재 시판되고 있는 국산 Polar Zoom Lens 80~200mm(1:3.9) 와 일산 (日産)Nikkor Zoom Lens 80~200mm(1:4)를 실사(室寫)에 의한 화질을 비교하였으며 화질검사 방법은 日本千葉大學 다무라미노루(田村 稔)의 hawlet chart를 이용하였다. Polar Lens나 Nikkor Lens가 모두 평균화질이 6.9였으나 양상 화질 면적은Polar Lens는 86% 이고 Nikkor Lens는 92%가 나왔다. 이것은 국산 Lens의 수준이 국제수준에 도달하였음을 알 수 있었다.
Shince the introduction of machine methods into industry a problem has existed which has never been adequately solved. .... That is to say, there is no difference between the essential qualities of Machine art and abstract art, which is the main style of fine arts in the present day. This problem has been discussed by John Ruskin, William Morris, Herbert Read. In this study, I discussed the artistic value in the modern graphic arts from the standpoint of Herbert Read on the machine art. According to the above-mentioned discussings, we can come to the conclusion as follows 1) The machine art lie at the root of abstract art, and whenever the final product of machine is designed or determined by anyone sensitive to formal values, that product can and does become an abstract work of art in the subtler sense of the term. 2) We must recognize that graphic design is a function of the abstract artist, and the abstract artist must be given a place in the graphic arts in which be is not already established, and his decision on all questions of design must be final. 3) Therefore, the graphic designer must have therough knowledge of graphic arts technology in order to give the artistic value to the objects of machine production.

다색 망점 인쇄물에서 색을 측정하는데는 여러가지 방벙이 있는데, 본 논문에서는 농도 측정법과 자극치 직독법으로, 본문 Ink 화학주식회사에서 나온 SPACE Color New Apex-G Color Chart를 사용하여 두 방법의 측정 결과를 비교, 검토하였다. Process Ink 인 Y, M, C, RI 을 10, 20, 30...90, 100% 의 망점 면적 비교로 변화시켜 측정한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. Y Ink는 가장 이상적인 Ink로 575 nm부근의 주파장을 가졌다. 2. M Ink는 다른 성분을 제일 많이 함유하고 있었다. 3. 원색 분해할 때에 B1 판의 필요성이 확인되었다. 4. 색의 혼합 결과는 M+Y 의 혼합 때 가장 결과가 좋았다.
NiNH4PO4 was Prepared from waste Ni catalyst used in hydrogenation of oil and fat. NiNH4PO4 was calcined at different temperature respectly 800,100,100˚C to prepare Nickel yellow. The result from this experiment are summerizer as follows: 1) Nickel yellow formed at 1100˚C was most clearness yellow color from color analyzer date. 2) Nickel yellow was consist of -Ni2P2O2 Ni3(PO4)2 from X-ray diffraction analysis. 3) The endothermic pick at 100˚C and exotherwic pick about 1050˚C on calcination of NiNH4PO4 were checked in DTA (difference Thermal analysis data.)
