Some photopolymer, poly(vinyl cinnamoyl acetate)(PVCiA) was synthesized by esterification of polymer(vinyl alcohol(PVA) with monochloroacetic acid, followed by reaction poly(vinyl monochloroacetate)(PVChA) and potassium cinnamate. When esterification of PVA with monochloroacetic acid was reacted in the dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO), in the synthesis of PVChA, it is very good yield and the successive cinnamoyl acetoxyl esterification of PVCiA can be successfully synthesized. But PVCiA is low photosensitive polymer if not added photosensitizing dyes. Here, we synthesized photosensitizing dyes. trifluoromethylindol squarylium dye derivatives(TFSQ). Indolization of 3-trifluoromethylphenyl-hydrazine formed 4- and 6-substituted indoles, the rate of 4- and 6-substituted indoles is close to unity. Absorption's coefficient of 1,3-bis(4-trifluoromethyl-1,3,3-trimethylindol) squarylium dye(TFSQ) is 7.5710\ulcorner, PVCiA added with TFSQ(3%) was highly sensitized six times than not added.

Several aspects of polymer dispersed liquid crystal(PDLC) film properties make them interesting for display application. Most versions of PDLC materials are able to modulate light without the use of polarizers, which offers advantages in optical throughput(brightness) and viewing angle compared to polarizer-based display. In this papers, we attemped to doe minimum of remaining liquid crystals at polymer network for the liquid crystal-polymer composite (LCPC) films. In results, best phase separation behaviors turned out liquid crystal/monomer/oligomer mixture system.

The ultraviolet(UV)-curable materials wildly have been used as a ink and coating materials. A according to measure UV polymerization phase separation of acryl groups 2,3,4-functional monomer, a few experiments were performed gel fraction, dynamic viscosity of alkyd resin blend system. Dependence of photoiniator concentration and various monomer, alkyd resin content investigated structural changes of films cured by UV irradiation. Curing rate measured UV irradiation under 25℃, cell gap 7cm and film thickness 100㎛. In results, it was through that the viscoelastic properties of films cured with increasing the ratios of monomer/alkydresin contents are network polymer in properties such as viscoelasticity.

유기감광체의 감광특성에 미치는 고분자의 영향에 관한 연구

The photosensitive properties and spectroscopic characteristics in the organic photoconductor(OPC) with carrier generation layer(CGL) of poly(vinylbutyral)(PVB) and polycarbonate(PC) doped with titanyl phthalocyanine(TiOPc) were investigated. The change of crystal structure of TiOPc dispersed with PVB and PC was shown by UV-visible reflective spectrum and FT-IR spectrum and mainly caused by the difference of solubility of solvent and the interaction between TiOPc and binder. The particle size of TiOPc dispersed with PVB measured by SEM was smaller than in PC. The crystal structure of TiOPc dispersed with PVB was amorphous type and in PC was type. It was found that the photosensitive properties of OPC were dependent on the change of absorbance and ionization potential of TiOPc occurred from the difference of crystal structure. In this work, the photosensitivity of OPC of TiOPc dispersed with PVB was better than PC due to the crystal type and the smaller particle size.

To investigate in influence of photosensitizer used with benzophenone(BP) in the curing rate and physical properties of UV curable hard coating on plastic, we prepared UV curable clear and pigmented coatings with DEA, DMA, NPM and TEA as photosensitizer, respectively. The curing rate calculated from the decrease of the absorbance of acrylic double bond measured by FT-IR spectroscopy increased s follows; DEA>DMA>NPM>TEA. this order could be explained by the reactivity of diethylamino group of DEA and the ease of formation of activated complex between BP and photosensitizer during the curing process. In UV curable pigmented coatings, the order of curing rate increased as follows; DEA>DMA>TEA>NPM. It was found that the curing rate of the pigmented coating can be increased by light scattering of TiO. The hardness of coating film cured by photosensitization of DEA and DMA is higher than other photosensitizers due to the crosslinking reaction of DEA and DMA radical bound to polymer backbone

디지털 스캔 이미지의 보간방법에 관한 연구

If a image doesn't include sufficient data of output size and resolution, we will scan again the image. Interpolation generates a new pixel by methematical average of processing. In the interpolation method, there are nearest neighbor interpolation, bilinear interpolation and bicubic interpolation etc. This study was carried out for the purpose of researching compatible method to digital scan image caused by only different interpolation methods. Nearest neighbor interpolation show superior effect in the drawing image. Bilinear interpolation show reduction in detail and contrast. Bicubic interpolation show superior effect in the digital photo image USM(Unsharp Mask) application after extension by interpolation show better than extension by interpolation after USM(unsharp mask) application.

Spectral reflectance of the object should be measured to predict the color of object under various illuminants. The spectral reflectance can be represented in a multi-dimension space. Generally the information of inputed image by digital camera and color scanner is represented with 3-dimension color signals such as RGB. In other to predict the color of inputed image under any illuminant, we should be estimated spectral reflectance of the object. In this paper, we described the method to predict spectral reflectance by einenvector using the skin color of printed image, confirmed availability and propriety through experiment. we estimated spectral reflectance of skin color taken by RGB color signals and than reproduced skin color according to various illuminants on CRT.

FM screening has been praised for its apparent resolution advantage over conventional AM screening. FM screening is also known for its criticalness of film output and difficulties in the proofing stage because of the microdot formation. However, FM screening is not a well understood process from press performance point of view. This study was carried out for the purposed of introduction the availability of hifi-offset printing to domestic printing industries and evaluating the print qualities between 300pli AM screen and FM screen with the equivalent sized microdots to 4-5% dot area of the 300lpi AM screen, together with comparing with the 175lpi AM screen representing a conventional printing. Solid density, dot gain, color gamut and some other quality properties were measured and discussed.

The object color does not look same under the different light source. It depends on the surface spectral reflectance and the spectral distribution of light source. Therefore we should find the surface spectral reflectance of object color and the spectral distribution of light source for color reproduction. Using Wiener estimation, we can estimate the spectral reflectance from low dimensional images obtained with multi-band image acquisition system. The kind and the number of imaging filters have the effect on the estimation of the spectral reflectance. Therefore it is important that optimal filters are selected to minimize the error of the result. In this paper, we describe methods to select optimal filters with minimum error between measured and estimated surface spectral reflectance and to estimate surface spectral reflectance of Munsell color chart from six multi-band images by using Wiener estimation.

The conversion of 1-Amino-4-(3'-Acetaminoanilino) Anthraquinone-2-Sulfonic Acid prepared by the Ullmann condensation have been investigated as a function of the reaction conditions such as catalysts, initial concentration of reactants, reaction temperature, pH, condensation agents and neutralizing agents. The experimental results showed that the Cu(I)-type catalysts had higher activity than the Cu(II)-type catalysts in this study. The conversion increased with increasing initial concentration of reactants but decreased at above critical concentration owing to agglomeration of reactants. It was also observed that the maximum conversion obtained at 7 0℃and pH=7~8.

A Photosensitive Crown Ether Styryl Dye derivative(CESD) was prepared for the application and the structure of it was discussed. Light excitation causes the trans-cis isomerization of CESD yielding a conformation suitable to form a coordination bond between an anion group and a metal cation located in crown ether. Intermolecular complex stabilized the cis isomer that absorbs at a shorter wavelength in the trend-cis isomerization. Application of CESD was suggested.

To investigate the most effective way of cellulase utilization on paper making process and the systematic way of how to combine its components for better use, purified two major cellulase were applied to bleached kraft pulp at various dosage in the refining process and estimated the synergism effect of each components in the characteristics of papermaking fiber. freeness was not changed by C₁ Component dosage but strongly increased by Cx Component dosage. Drop in fiber viscosity, increase in WQV, fiber shortening and fine generation was strongly influenced by Cx Component, it seems to be that Cx Component works a hydrogenate that breaks hydrogen bonding in fiber and enhances pooling effect of fiber. C₁ Component was little influenced these characteristics of fiber but considered to help to make fiber surface smooth.
