The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of provider and consumer characteristics, and patient trust on relational commitment among healthcare customers of an university hospital, and to suggest some implications for improving customer relation management of hospitals. Data were collected from 250 patients of an university hospital located in Ulsan using structured self-administered questionnaire. Major result of the analysis is as follows: First, study variables are significantly varied by age and income among socio-economic factors. Second, assurance, and empathy among provider characteristics and customer satisfaction and reputation among consumer characteristics are found to be significant affecting factors on patient trust. Third, trust affects significantly both on re-visit and recommendation among relationship commitment, while reputation affects on re-visit and customer satisfaction and reputation affect on recommendation. Above results imply that relationship management strategy for enhancing patient trust is crucial to improve competitiveness of hospitals in turbulent competition environment.

The purpose of this study is to approving the usefulness on Customer Satisfaction of Human Bridge. To achieve this purpose, we conduct a survey of 385 Customer to have a new operation analysis that so-called Human Bridge. The results of this study as follow. First of all, It's appeared that dependence on mass communication has a high level Because that Some 66% of the people surveyed say that they have Human Bridge operation by mass communication. Secondly, In case of satisfaction level connected with operation, some 66% of the respondents say that it is inconvenient or not at all in the Human Bridge operation and some 81% of the respondents say that it is very healthy or the same in the gum condition. On the other hand, Some 64% of the people surveyed say that it is inconvenient or extra comfortable in the masticate their´s food well. Thirdly, In case of the level of teeth shaking, Some 90% of the people surveyed say that it is no change or small to contrast beginning. and in aesthetic satisfaction after operation, a surprising 93% of the people surveyed say that it is satisfaction.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic materials needed to enhance quality of organizational life by identifying the improvements of labor union management in the perspective of hospital organization management. Materials were collected from administrators, nurses and medical technicians in target hospitals from March 3 to March 30, 2010 through survey questionnaires. The main results of this study were as follows: 1. The commitment level of the subjects according to their satisfaction was higher when the administrators both in Private hospitals and Public hospitals were not satisfied in their works. 2. The commitment level of the subjects according to the subjects' job dedication level was higher those who had higher emotional attachment to their job in all vocations in both Private hospitals and Public hospitals. 3. The commitment level of the subjects according to the subjects' labor union involvement was higher in those who had higher satisfaction in labor union and perceived their colleagues' attitudes more positively in all vocations in both Private Hospitals and Public Hospitals. 4. From the results of multiple regression analysis to identify major influencing factors of labor union commitment level, In Private hospital employees, those who had senior officer posts in labor union and higher normative commitment showed higher commitment union. Therefore hospital managers should have democratic and flexible attitudes toward labor union. Additionally, as colleagues attitudes is important determinant in union commitment, hospital managers should have countermeasures to enhance the work atmosphere of hospital employees.

For this study, general hospitals with more than 300 beds are investigated. To provide basic data for efficient management of hospitals and to encourage the staff of the accounting dept. Who understand the detailed situation to take part in making decisions concerning management actively, the role of the accounting dept. through the use of the control counting on the detailed tasks and analysis of cost price and the accountants' opinion about it.

The purpose of this study is to examine how much the service quality of the radiology department at the hospital is influential to customers' satisfaction and intents of reusing the department and informing it to others. For the purpose, this researcher surveyed 201 patients whon used the radiology department at the hospital. Findings of the study can be summarized as follows. First, the surveyed patients' perceptions of the service quality of the radiology department in accordance with their demographic characteristics were investigated to find that among the subjects, women were perceiving the radiological technician as more kind than men were. Among the subjects, women were higher in customer satisfaction about the service quality of the radiology department and intents of reusing the department and informing it to others than men were. Second, out of factors of the radiology department's service quality, those who were significantly affecting customer satisfaction included waiting time for treatment at the department, kindness of the radiological technician, environment of the radiography room and facilities of the department. Third, customer satisfaction was significantly affecting the intent of reuse. Fourth, customer satisfaction was significantly influencing the intent of informing to others. In other words, the more customers are satisfied with the service quality of the radiology department, the more they are likely to inform the department to others and reuse it. In conclusion, the sustainable growth and effective management of the medical institution requires improving the service quality of its department of radiology and thereon maximizing customer satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to promote efficiency of hospital management with customer satisfaction by understanding qualitative system about more systemic hospital service coordinator's job under analyzing the satisfactory degree and coherence of hospital service coordinator's job because of increase of customer need level by medical environment improvement and the variety of offering method of medical service. I allocated a questionnaire per each hospital around dentistry, Oriental medicine clinic, plastic surgery in medical examination department and withdrew questionnaire on total 662 hospitals. According to the study results stated above, generally necessity on employment of a hospital service coordinator appeared high and To the necessity, I considered that a hospital service coordinator's job must strengthen the role for going still more to customer with discriminated mind and service not simple kind service to medical consumer, with establishing more systematic and realistic educational culture in qualification and educational department of a hospital service coordinator. Also a hospital service coordinator must be changed to promote customer satisfaction and efficiency of hospital management by more systematic business assignment and role establishment.

The study analyzed the cash flow and external funding in focusing on the relationship of the two factors in Korean hospitals and some changes in the relationship. The results analyzing this study were summarized as follows: First, the discriminant function of new external funds was generally the ratio of cash flow from operating activities to sales, the ratio of cash flow from investment activities to sales, the ratio of cash flow from financing activities to sales in order. The prediction rate of total discriminant function was more than 92%. Second, in case of Korean hospitals, it was known that the ratio of cash flow from operating activities to sales, particularly the net income to sales was the biggest influencing factor on the decision to external funding.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the internal factors that influence the performance of local government hospitals in Korea. Out of 34 Local Government hospitals, 6 hospitals were selected as sample hospitals. Then hospitals were divided into two groups(3 hospitals each), one of which was profit-making and the other loss-making. The criteria in selecting profit or loss-making hospitals was Normal Profit to Total Assets. The major findings of this study were as follows : The headcount per 100 bed of the profit-making hospitals was 8.8 persons less than the loss-making hospitals and the ratio of payroll expenses to total revenue 14.7% less. Inpatient bed occupancy ratio of the profit-making hospitals was 92.8%. This result is higher 21.8% than loss-making hospitals.

The purpose of this study is to examine relations between the job satisfaction and separation intent of radiologists from secondary medical institutes, providing basic information needed to earlier prevent radiologists' separation, improve their quality and effectively manage them. 1. The subjects' job satisfaction was 2.32 points in mean score, which was below the average. 2. Concerning difference in job satisfaction among the subjects in accordance with their demographic characteristics, it was found that radiologists are significantly different among them in job satisfaction according to their age and position. 3. The surveyed radiologists' intent of separation was 2.89 points in mean score, which was not significantly high. 4. Concerning difference in the intent of separation among the participants in accordance with their demographic characteristics, it was found that radiologists are significantly different among them in the intent of separation according to their age, marital status, position and average monthly income. 5. There were significant correlations between the subjects' job satisfaction and intent of separation. In other words, the higher radiologists are in job satisfaction, the lower they are in the intent of separation.

This study has been conducted to estimate the degree of cognition of military hospital services according to experience of military hospital services for serviceman, and to find out some factors affecting the medical services satisfaction. Questionnaires were given to 600 persons during October 5th though 24th 2009. All 600 questionnaires distributed affair, but 343 cases were collected. Statistical analysis methods used in this dissertation are t-test, Logistic Regression Analysis and other basic statistics such as frequency, percentage, and standard deviation using SPSS ver, 17.0. Results of the study are as follows: The satisfaction of the treat a patients' to compared military hospital and private hospital was providing free medical treatment for serviceman. The dissatisfaction of the treat a patients' to compared military hospital and private hospital was army doctors treated his very unfriendly. The level of medical treatment to providing military hospital was very low cognition for serviceman. In conclusion, to increase the preference of the military hospital is level of private hospital health care level of should be to developed. More support to financial should provide for medical workforce and setting of cutting edge medical equipment in the military hospital. Military hospital is should be competition with private hospital. Also should be improve the quality of military medical service.

The objective of this study is to investigate the influence of role conflict, childcare stress, and stress coping type on organizational commitment among female workers at hospital settings, and thus, to suggest implications for improving their productivity and quality of working life. Data were collected from 195 female employees working at a general hospital in Busan Metropolitan Area by using structured self-administered questionnaire. Among study variables, role conflict(-) and direct-positive stress coping type(+) had statistically significant effect on organizational commitment. This study results imply that role conflict, and stress coping type are crucial for managing desirable job attitude of female employees. Therefore, education and training, and consultation programme for diminishing role conflict and adopting appropriate stress coping type should be developed and utilized.

The purpose of this study is one of high price medical equipment wished to grasp propriety factor about the MRI introduction, analyzing payability through cost accounting into compensation. It was investigated from January 1 to December 31, 2007 about the MRI of a General Hospital. Expectation availability was 23.2 cases, but actual availability did achievement more than 196.1% with 45.5 items. It is estimated that there are a lot of occurrence cases because great reasons that actual availability increases more than expectation availability is excellent resolving power than a CT, and is device that prefer to reason back that radiation damage is less in person body. The followings show the main results of this study . 1. The MRI was construed in order of cost accounting, wave and personnel expenses 45.4%, administrative expenses 53.0%, and material costs 1.6%. 2. According to CVP (Cost-volume-profit) analysis, BEP (Break Even Point) profit is 173,931,428 won for 11 months, and break even usage number of items are 37.5 cases, and separation usage number of items were confirmed by 1.4 cases. Therefore, was construed that can achieve BEP within 11 months though usage number of items keeps 1.4 items day to create the MRI's hospital operation profit. 3. Estimated limit profitability appears high by 96.7%, exceed fixed charges even if when is non-benefit and when it is benefit consider variable, is judged that the MRI's addition induction helps in hospital management enhancing earning rates.
