Objectives: To analyze the factors influencing the intention to use mobile healthcare devices by age group during life transitions in the Chungcheongbuk-do region. Methods: Using 2022 Chungcheongbuk-do social survey data, analysis was conducted by dividing age groups into 13-39, 40-64, and over 65 years old. Descriptive statistics and frequency analyses were conducted to identify general characteristics, and a multiple regression analysis was conducted to identify the factors influencing the intention to use mobile healthcare devices. Results: Common factors influencing intention to use mobile healthcare devices in all life transition age groups were Exercise frequency, Disaster emergency situation response level_Awareness of action guidelines(+), and job status(-). In addition, the factors differed according to the age group in the life transition period. Conclusions: When promoting and expanding mobile healthcare projects in a region, it is necessary to establish a differentiated strategy that considers age groups during the transition period.

Objectives: This study analyzed time-series changes in stroke occurrence in Korea and the factors influencing stroke diagnosis. Methods: Differences in stroke diagnosis and the impact of related factors such as socioeconomic status, health behaviors, and disease characteristics were analyzed among 4,262 individuals aged 40 and over using a complex sample design methodology. Results: Among individuals aged 40 and over, risk factors influencing stroke included: the 50-59 (OR, odds ratio=1.243, 95% CI=0.293-5.266) and, 60-69 (OR=2.841, 95% CI=0.73M1.054) age groups, having a separated marital status (OR=8.078, 95% CI=1.082-60.329), varying levek of alcohol consumption at 1-2 drinks (OR=1.160, 95% CI=0.604-2.230), 3-4 drinks (OR=1.048, 95% 0=0.562-1.954), 7-9 drinks (OR=1.338, 95% CI=0.535-3.343), and 10 or more drinks (OR=1.495, 95% CI=5.983-3.736), as well as pre-hypertension (OR=1.587, 95% CI=0.691-3.647), and hypertension (OR=3.090, 95% CM.353-7.057). Conclusions: The findings suggested that expanding community-based health education on stroke prevention for individuals aged 40 and above is important.

Objectives: This study analyzed the relationship between health information literacy and glycated hemoglobin in 1,671 adults aged 19 or older using 2023 data from the 9th National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Methods: Frequency analysis and multinomial logistic regression analysis were performed to analyze the general characteristics of the study subjects and factors affecting glycated hemoglobin. Results: As a result of this study, in the case of health information literacy, the risk of developing pre-diabetes was 2.169 times higher and the risk of developing diabetes was 2.374 times higher when the answer to the questionCan you judge whether health information obtained from the Internet or media is trustworthy?. Conclusions: Using the results of this study, efforts are needed to implement continuous health education and prepare customized health policies for diabetes prevention and health management in order to manage glycated hemoglobin and improve health information literacy.
