Objectives: This study was conducted to examine the influence of job rotation stress and organizational socialization on job satisfaction and the mediating effect of organizational socialization. Methods: Participants were 158 nurses with experience working at advanced general hospitals who had experienced job rotations within the last 12 months. From March 12, 2019 to August 6, 2019, data was collected through face-to-face interviews and online survey. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS/WIN 23.0. Results: It was found that job rotation stress (β=-.19, p=.017) and organizational socialization (β=.66, p<.001) significantly influenced job satisfaction. The organizational socialization completely mediated the relationship between job rotation stress and job satisfaction, and the result of Sobel test showed that the indirect effect was significant (Z=4.13, p<.001). Conclusions: As a part of promoting the organizational socialization of nurses who have experienced job rotation, it is necessary to help nurses re-socialize at an organizational level.

Objectives: This study investigated health care satisfaction and social safety perception towards new diseases and influencing factors using data from the -2018 and 2020 Social Survey-. Methods: Data on 50,162 medical user participants in the Social Survey were statistically examined using descriptive and multiple regression analysis. Results: First, the satisfaction level of medical services exceeded the medium level, and increased slightly in 2020 compared to 2018. Second, the safety perception of the new diseases was lower in 2020 during COVID-19 pandemic compared to 2018 and was low for socially vulnerable groups such as women, older adults, temporary/daily workers, those with low income, poor health, those who had experienced bereavement/divorce, and disability registrants. Conclusions: The social safety perception towards new diseases is low in the socially vulnerable class. The government needs to use more active education and provide support through crisis communication strategies and implement policies that faithfully manage the overall social safety net to relieve public anxiety.

Objectives: In this paper, we analyzed online articles related to “medical ethics” using text mining techniques to identify the predominant topics and trends of these online articles. Method: Online news articles from 1966 to 2018 were collected from three newspapers’ websites, and a total of 2,336 articles were used for analysis. A python-based web scraping program was used to collect news articles, and topic modeling techniques based on the (LDA) algorithm were used for data analysis. Results: For the entire period, topics on ethics and law accounted for more than half of the total. When categorized by period, a high percentage was occupied by biotechnology until 2003, euthanasia and hospice from 2004 to 2012, and the high-tech medical industry after 2013. Conclusions: Our society has approached medical ethics issues related to technological development as applied ethics. From the stage of technological development, we must simultaneously consider legal and ethical issues.
