Covert channel is secret communication path, which existence is not expected in original system of design. It allows different users access to the same information, at the same time, but from different points-of-view. It is being more and more studying due to the grooming of internet. Always high-bandwidth network covert channel pose the significant risk of detection over network. Although the existing technique utilized the reserved bits of header, timestamp, initial sequence number, packet length etc for network covert channel, to some extend these have good temper resistance. But when increase their covert data capacity they becomes to fail to persist their original characteristics and vulnerable to network traffic detector. We are motivated to design to achieve a high bandwidth covert channel in network protocols. We simulated our proposed technique in ns2 simulator utilizing TCP protocol. Through experimental results, our proposed model is very high capacity covert channel with temper resistance and time efficient as compared to previous techniques.

The present paper spirits to study the interactions between the species in a mathematical model of an Ammensal - enemy species pair with unlimited resources in which the mortality rate of enemy species is greater than its birth rate. The model is built by a coupled system of first order non-linear ordinary differential equations. The only one equilibrium point is acknowledged and the criteria for its stability are deduced. The numerical solutions for this model are calculated for tracing the nature and the interactions between the species by using Runge-Kutta method of fourth order.

Rough set theory is a relative new tool that deals with vagueness and uncertainty inherent in decision making. This paper introduce a new probabilistic approach for reducing dimensions and extracting rules of information systems using expert systems. The core of the approach is a soft hybrid induction system called the Generalized Distribution Table and Rough Set System (GDT-RS) for discovering classification rules, Which is based on a combination of Generalized Distribution Table (GDT) and the Rough Set methodologies. The probabilistic properties of the Decision rules are discussed and the proposed probabilistic rough set approach was applied to discover grade rules of transformer evaluation when there is a missing failure symptom of transformer. The results show that the proposed approach represents explicitly the uncertainty of a rule, it can flexibly select biases for search control and it can effectively handle noisy and missing data.

Staphylokinase, a 163 amino aci d bacterial protein from Staphylococcus aureus is reported to have a therapeutic function and used as a potential alternative for the available clot dissolving drugs and some countries proved to be a potent alternative over the available clot dissolving drugs. In the present study, sak gene is isolated from a lysogenically converted S.aureus and expressed in non-pathogenic E.coli expression host. The sak gene is cloned into pET-28a vector and expressed in an IPTG and salt induced E. coli strain (GJ1158). The mature recombinant sak protein expressed in E.coli is also further extracted and analyzed by various methods to demonstrate thrombolytic activity.

This paper presents a new and efficient approach for capacitor placement in radial distribution systems that determine the optimal locations and size of capacitor with an objective of improving the voltage profile and reduction of power loss. The solution methodology has two parts: in part one the loss sensitivity factors are used to select the candidate locations for the capacitor placement and in part two a new algorithm that employs Plant growth Simulation Algorithm (PGSA) is used to estimate the optimal size of capacitors at the optimal buses determined in part one. The main advantage of the proposed method is that it does not require any external control parameters. The other advantage is that it handles the objective function and the constraints separately, avoiding the trouble to determine the barrier factors. The proposed method is applied to 33, 34 and 69-bus radial distribution systems. The solutions obtained by the proposed method are compared with other methods. The proposed method has outperformed the other methods in terms of the quality of solution.

Water making is the process of embedding data called a watermark into a multimedia object such that watermark can be detected or extracted later to make an assertion about the object. Earlier techniques based on spatial and frequency domain had the problems of a poor fidelity especially with higher payloads of watermark image. Unsatisfactory value of Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) of watermarked image resulting in image quality degradation was seen in varying degree, in various research works. This paper is an attempt to employ genetic algorithms to find suitable locations for watermark insertion within a cover image, to focus on the issue of optimizing fidelity. The paper provides a comprehensive discussion of using a tournament selection strategy in genetic algorithm for this purpose and investigates the variation of maximum fitness which reflects the higher PSNR of the watermarked image with respect to embedding strength, number of genes, crossover probability, and number of generations consisting of binary matrix. With the proper understanding and analysis of the results of this paper, a successful watermarking scheme can be obtained using Genetic algorithms, which may be useful when optimizing the fidelity aspect of digital watermarking is the principal concern.

We have carried out research on high-speed crowd simulation effects through marker-based multi-object augmentation as the basis for a crowd scene processing system that can produce natural movement of a crowd with less resources and operation. When applied to 3D AR images, this method is expected to achieve high efficiency with less mobile resources.

In this paper present an improved method of ECG delineation approach based on the continuous wavelet transformation and singlescale approach is presented. The algorithm was design to detect nine main ECG significant points, which are QRS onset, QRS pick, QRS offset and analogous points to P wave and T wave. The implemented algorithm improvement significantly increases accuracy of the P wave and T wave detection, which was the problematic part of the previous method. An improved method of wavelet thresholding of ECG signals to remove noise characteristics is provided.

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is an emerging technology that shows great promise for various applications both for mass public and military. The sensing technology combined with processing power and wireless communication makes it lucrative for being exploited in abundance in future. In many important military and commercial applications, it is critical to protect a sensor network from malicious attacks, which presents a demand for providing security mechanisms in the network. In this paper, we propose a new approach of an Intrusion Detection Based Security Solution for Cluster-Based Wireless Sensor Networks. In the proposed methodology, an efficient MAC address based intruder tracking system has been developed for early intruder detection and its prevention.
