Novel Semantic Model for Intelligent Discovery of Web Services

Main challenges to the current semantic web service technologies are exponential continuous growth in the number of services on the Internet, syntax based discovery, lack of common agreed upon semantic service standards and heterogeneity of ontologies. In this paper, a service discovery approach independent of semantic service description models is proposed to solve the challenges of the current web service discovery. The idea is to combine principles from machine learning, data mining, statistical techniques and measures of semantic relatedness to make the semantic web service discovery process more intelligent, efficient and effective. The proposed approach exploits the use of semantic as well as syntactic information present within the service description profiles. Our approach is unique in terms of its application to any web service description language and the use of Omiotis measure of semantic relatedness for service discovery. The proposed approach has been implemented on OWL-S based service descriptions profiles and is able to find semantic relationship between the services which were otherwise discarded by the OWL-MX matchmaker. Empirical analysis shows that the proposed method out performs the TF - IDF based cosine similarity method, Jaccard method and LSA based approach.

The purpose of the study was to develop technology solutions by proposing Electronic Performance Solutions Systems for improving the performance of the educational organization at the university. The study focused on the Technology Enhanced Curriculum Lab at the one of the Universities in Southern area of the USA. The research plans were made by identifying discrepancies between the desired goals and the existing situations and evaluating the organizational activities and performance of the staff members.

The effective atomic number (Zeff) and effective electron density (Neff) of wrought aluminum alloy 7010 has been determined by measuring mass attenuation coefficient (μm), total atomic cross section (σt) and total electron cross section (σe) with radioactive point source of different γ-energies viz. 59.5, 661.16, 1173 and 1332 keV. The transmitted γ-photons were detected and recorded by a NaI(TI) scintillation detector with resolution of 8.5% for 661.16 KeV of 137Cs. The experimental results determined were compared with the theoretical values obtained using XCOM and semi empirical approach for all photon energies. The photon mean free path (λ) and linear attenuation coefficient (μl) for these energies have been reported. The experimental values are in good agreement with theoretical values.

The aim of this study is to propose the discriminant analysis (DA) techniques to classify and manage risks in software planning development process. These techniques are used to test the controls to each of risks to determine and classify if they are effective in mitigating the occurrence of each risk planning factor. We classified risks to three levels by predicted group membership. Also top ten risks planning software development were mitigated by using controls based on discriminant analysis techniques.

The electrical conductivity of PEO-PMMA-LiClO4 polymer blend with different concentrations of TiO2 as a nano filler has been studied. The polymer blend electrolyte was prepared in the form of thin films using solution casting technique. The blend was characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The electrical properties of the blend electrolyte were investigated by complex impedance spectroscopy with varying frequencies.

Affordable energy contributes betterment of life, increasing productivity and reducing poverty thereby increase living standard of citizens of country. Increase in population causing utilization fossil as well as natural resources for various forms of energy production. So one has to think for production and use of such fuel which is not only potential alternative for fossil fuel, but also eco-friendly in nature and causing improvement in life standard. This research paper is talking about reasons for algae farming at Godhra, a small city of Gujarat state, India. Biodiesel from algae (third generation) is promising resource to improve living standard of people from Godhra of Panchmahal district of Gujarat state, India. According to the laboratory test results, the calorific value of the algae sample collected from sewage water is around 13041kJ/kg which is nearer to the calorific value of Indian coal(15039 kJ/kg) used in the power plants. Hence algae farming may be the way towards prosperity as algae biodiesel can be used as a fuel.
