This paper presents a 3D visual servo system using fuzzy controller for the command of a manipulator arm. The vision system is composed of two cameras; the first is installed above the robot, while the second is located on the lateral side of this one. These two cameras need no calibration, thus we can install them in any position and orientation with just the condition that the joints and the effector of the robot must remain always visible. Servoing is realized without any prior knowledge of the dynamic and geometric models of the robot. Only the positions, in pixels, of the effector and of the different joints, in the two images acquired by the two cameras, are used to realize this servoing. Colors have thus been assigned to the joints and to the effector to determine their positions.

Digital images are present everywhere on magazine covers, in newspapers, in courtrooms as evidences, and all over the Internet signifying one of the major ways for communication nowadays. The trustworthiness of digital images has been questioned, because of the ease with which these images can be manipulated in both its origin & content as a result of tremendous growth of digital image manipulation tools. Digital image forensics is the latest research field which intends to authorize the genuineness of images. This survey attempts to provide an overview of various digital image forgeries and the state of art passive methods to authenticate digital images.

Buckling behavior of cylindrical helical springs subjected to axial load has already been illustrated in the past theories. Unlike cylindrical spring, the behavior of conical compression spring has both linear and nonlinear phase. Very little literature on buckling of conical springs can be found in the past. In this paper, an analytical buckling equation with its experimental verification has been proposed by authors and used it along with the existing theories to locate the phase of compression of conical spring at which buckling occurs. Subsequently, a comparison between cylindrical and conical springs has been made at the point of buckling of cylindrical spring in respect of their load and deflection. This would help to decide the suitability of conical springs against buckling failure of cylindrical springs under the given operating conditions.

In view of the issue related to the demand of housing, the Philippine Government must find some alternative ways to lessen the expenses without altering the quality of the housing projects, the study paved the way to evaluate a comparison between the prefabricated housing components in modular house and the traditionally made housing components (CHB) in terms of cost, efficiency, effectiveness, and the time to spend during construction. It also attempts to search for the development and production of low cost housing, the end-users feedback and other institutions that used these materials and its impact to the market. One of the interesting insights in the study is that prefabricated components has a significance difference in terms of construction cost as compare to the traditional methods due to the materials, and fast and short time duration of construction.

Multilevel power electronic converter has wide range of applications. In multilevel power electronic converters the output can be synthesized by combining several DC voltage sources. Cascade H-Bridge multilevel inverter generally requires more number of DC sources. An alternative option is to replace all the DC sources feeding H-Bridge cells with capacitors, leaving only one H-Bridge cell with a real DC sources. But balancing the capacitor voltage is challenging. In this paper a new control method for cascade H-bridge multi level inverter fed with only one independent DC source is presented. Simulation results support the proposed control method.
