This paper evaluate use on facilities of green tourism by participator's questionnaire and urban inhabitants' questionnaire. As the result of study, it shows follows; 1) To make town look more traditionally we should rebuild the buildings and the styles of roof with our own traditional rural system. And, we also change the block and brick style fence into soil or rock one instead to look rural path. The agricultural land and watercourse should be left naturally to be looked non-polluted environment. 2) The outdoor toilet, washing stand and distribute should be maintained and managed clearly every time. Residents' own housing also should be maintained to promote the home-stay lodging. 3) To improve the satisfaction of people's need of agricultural product, the special market building or place that could be packed and sold the product at the same time should be built or made. And, it should be located in the harmonious spot with the natural scenery and good parking lot.

The recent interest in historic protection of rural landscape concentrates on the cultural landscape. Historic rural landscape properties in the United States America have protected in the national historic preservation system as National Register of Historic Places to contribute to the enhancement of the national identity and economy. This Paper focuses on research of the National Register of historic rural landscape and applicability to Korea. The work reviews published research report, related regulations and related Bulletins. Some works were conducted by online research including a review of related webpage. The Historic Rural Landscapes in U.S.A are identified and evaluated as historically significant districts, sites, structure, objects, and buildings according to the National Resister Criteria. Those were managed as National Register of Historic Places and National Historic Landmarks in National Resister. Government provides national preservation system and tax incentive for historic preservation of rural historic Landscapes.

The purpose of this study is to develop an evaluation category and items for architectural design assessment in attempt to improve design of small scale buildings within Se-Jong City. Some of the domains in existing design assessment are building design, function, environment, and technology. The category and items developed in this study however, is composed to aim for the building’s qualitative design assessment. Therefore the architectural assessment tool in this study includes design assessment of the building. Also, assessment category was comprised to verify the design expression used in improving the function and environmental condition of the building. The study was enforced by extracting raw data from existing architectural design related cases. Classification system and assessment category was developed and presented through combination of expert advice, survey, and sample test. In result of this study, the composition system required for design assessment can be divided into five large classifications ; public and harmony, access, form, environmental design, and space. Total of 24 assessment categories are developed and presented. The assessment category and standard presented in this study reflects the distinct regional characteristics and originality of Se-Jong city, creating one of a kind design assessment tool.

The recently research shows that the many tourists of Suanbo hot spring waters haven’t satisfied the service. These reasons due to that they did not properly consider the satisfaction of tourists’ services and index. However, satisfaction level of hot spring waters tourists is interacted complicatedly with various factors, the interactions are not easily identified. A structural equations model is adopted to capture the complex relationships among variables. In the model estimation, we used 140 survey data of Suanbo hot spring waters tourists. The SEM with several factors mentioned above as exogenous variables shows that they have complex and strong relationships. As results of a SEM, it was shown that variables influencing in pleasance are surrounding scenery, clean condition inside hot springs and congestion for use in satisfaction level most. Secondly, in case of kindness, attitudes of employees influence in satisfaction level most, followed by attitudes of residents and kindness of employees. Thirdly, in case of information, it was shown guidance on internal roads influencing in satisfaction level most, followed by guidance on owner drivers, guidance on surrounding tourist attractions and guidance on public transportation. Finally, a variable influencing in accessibility most is satisfaction level of public transportation.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the characteristics of daily living and the location of welfare facilities for the aged in the local city. The thorough investigation and observation works were made to them from the view points of daily living behaviors and behavioral places of the recuperating elderly and location of welfare facilities. This article discusses about the actual condition of the daily living activities of 252 elderly in 4 facilities. The results of this study are summarized as follows; We must actively prepare for the advanced age society to the increase of the elderly man population. The elderly man welfare facilities expansion needs the range who do not escape from existing a life area of the aged. The city of Sa-cheon the elderly man welfare facilities have got on favorable terms ready in the locational environment. But an facilities in the west area need to preparable emergency happen that facility construction. The usage of behavioral places in recuperating facilities are influenced by the physical environments and the basic characteristics of the elderly.

In our traditional living lives, our ancestors have been succeeded in and developed the shortage-replenishing materials to balance with the nature and supplement the condition of geography by the measures, called the BiBo, in order to be harmonized with the nature. This study is purposed to find the meaning and quality of the BiBo materials distributed throughout the agriculture village in Yeoungdong area, Gangwon province in terms of scenery perspectives. It is found that there are 56 village forests, 18 BiBo symbolic properties and 2 BiBo ponds in Yeoungdong area, Gangwon province. Among these, village forests are largely consisting of pine trees and most of them are functioned for water-entrance defender. Including these village forests, the BiBo symbolic properties are important historic and cultural resources in this area and expected to be used as the income-source of the farm village.
