This study aims to discuss the location characteristics and present distribution of facilities in the rural community. The purpose of this study is to suggest the basic data of the planning of facilities corresponding to the living sphere in community. The circumstances, location and distribution of the rural area facilities was analyzed through field investigation and interview. It is necessary for ameliorating the income of inhabitants and the status of living environment to make a general local plan in developing rural area. That will be a solution to tackle the decreasement of population in the rural area. The survey's result is observed different by the feature of rural area, adjacence with near rural center, scale of rural center. So a standard of the various facility's arrangement plan must be established, and it must be enlarged in rural area.

Our country already came into the aging society in 2000, and it will reach the ultimate aging society in 2026. Also it is necessary the architectural proposal to serve the aging society problem. Recently days, it is increased that the aged welfare facilities, and the concern of aged welfare facilities. This study, approaching the charged aged man welfare facilities suggested as an alternative about the increase of aged man and the aged man problem in architectural and environmental aspect, investigated about the overall environment from the establishment of the charged welfare facilities to indoor space on the basis of the satisfaction degree and requiring condition of users through the estimation after residing. Thus this study is purposed to insist importance about analysis the aged welfare facilities and dwelling conscious.

The objective area of this study is a private house of common people at SimPori in the riverside area of OsipCheon. This area is the upriver of OsipCheon, and it was distributed at the 田-shaped House and the Dureong House with the composition of GuDl. Owing to the frequent interchange of AnDong and BongWha in the Young Seo district, the Kyup House and the SaBang House mixed with the 田-shaped House with GuDl of the YoungDong district. So the form of Folk House at this area is Dureong House. The Folk House of the seaside of SamCheok City is a compromised type among the 田-shaped House of GuDl in the north district and with MaRu in the south district, and introduced an indeterminate MaRu formed in the GaGokCheon area.

Recently, large scale disasters have been occurred in rural areas. Most people suffering from the disaster live in the temporary containers. These could not provide the fundamental occupancy performances such as thermal insulation, ventilation and heating system. It is very important to rebuild the residence for sufferers quickly and safely. Because modular building system has some advantages such as short construction time, mobility, light-weight structure, modularity, flexibility and economical efficiency, it is expected that it could be easily applied to the disaster restoration. So, this research aims at developing the design model of modular building system for disaster restorations in fishing and agrarian villages. For this purpose, current counterplan for restoration was firstly investigated. Also the basic guideline was established through the investigation of current status of residence in fishing and agrarian villages. Finally, 2 types of design model such as single story residence and temporary accommodation facility were proposed. We could see that we could make the flexible building plan when applying the modular building system to the temporary housing for the sufferers.

The purpose of paper is to examine about Street Furniture in swimming beach. The beach space is the very important place not only to spend in season but also to use 4-seasons in leisure culture. To offer better landscape in spacial beach; Gyeongpo, Naksan, Mangsang, Samcheok and Sokcho, such as regional atmosphere and identification are to analyze with design criteria. For the amenity of users through the improvement of landscape may be possible to work out future of beach surroundings. Accordingly material, form and color can be estimated systematically. This research suggests that design of street furniture is to be environmental and regional control. As a result, some proposal of Street Furniture by analysis, designer and officer have to focus on establishing a comprehensive plan for the attractive beach space.

Since the human race set foot on the earth, an unremitting effort to the free oneself from the fear of death. It was used ways and means like religion, power and a war to this end that the achievements of one's lifetime for a great man have power and wealth proved. But, there are remain proposition, all man will be die in spite of a lot of effort. The purpose of this study is recognize theoretical background of funeral culture based on present studies and a recent statistical data, and provide data for err from the right path of a funeral policy and improve consciousness of person. And, There wish inflected a basic data when Architectural Planning of funeral facilities to institutional background and facilities situation.

Recently, with the policy balance development in the country, Ministries of the government as managers related each of regional projects have prepared pan-governmental support system to achieve Making Livable Area Policy. This study is analysis result of investigation in 2007 authorized cases of MLCP(Making Livable City Project) which Ministry of Construction & Transportation have propelling from city and rural-urban area of town, myeon and dong, to rural area of small village size. Areas chosen for MLCP have the active participation of inhabitants, and to promote successfully project, need to support system and originality for area. Such projects will finally increase the life quality, and make life-spaces wanting to live in the area.

Ministry of Education and Human Resources presented on December, 2006, ‘Alternative school establishment and operation regulation' of contents that can be recognized attainments in scholarship because is authorized if alternative schools fulfill fixed condition. Even though, one time, it was true that several opinions which try to limit to adaptation school of person disqualified for school, thus, various discussion and efforts that specialized school for alternative education does to grow are appearing. However, the expectation which a lot of non authorized schools will apply is not so high because specialized school for alternative education will be controlled in free curriculum and school operation that have been administered and can not be guaranteed school's self-regulation if acquire legal authorization. Under such social and educational background I surveyed present condition, law, system, literature investigation of existing study, Japanese system and example and authorized two sample pecification schools etc. through 'A Basic Study on the Optimum Facilities Criteria Modeling of Regional Specialized Schools for Alternative Education(2006. 10)'. This study was preceded the succession and I visited 17 schools that permit investigation opening of schools among 29 that is authorized until present. So I try to find out architectural planning criteria to activate specialized school for alternative education more through analyzing school's general present condition, establishment idea, operation and specialized education plan, facilities present condition and characteristic.

The importance of residents’ participation has become more prominent to promote better living condition and quality of life in rural communities due to the skeptical views on the outcomes of the rural community supporting projects led by organizations and institutions. This study analyzes White Dandelion Eco−Village in Hoebuk Myeon, Boeun Kun, Chungbuk where community development is being done by its residents. By examining the formation background and the history of the village, and various participation forms and methods of the residents, I am to derive the ideal rural community development project led by the villagers themselves. To achieve successful supporting projects for rural communities by many different organizations and methods, it is necessary to have followings; residents’ affectionate attentions for the community as well as good ideas and intentions, excellent leaders who gather all the efforts and transform them into good plans, well made strategies and continuous endeavor, and the diversion of thoughts of the supporting project experts and the organizations.

The purpose of this study is to find the method about the design factors considering the remodeling of apartment housing. Domestic remodeling operations has been developed incessantly. Recently, instead of redevelopment and reconstruction, remodeling operations is being generalization. Therefore by considering the related building code, this study seeks the revisions and try to understand the architectural character of apartment housing and find the design factors throughout the remodeling case of apartment housing. For instance, it is to make use of the flexible partition in unit plan or consider a various house plan etc. So by analyzing these remodeling design factor, we will be able to live the residential environment more extensive than previously.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual condition of the daily living activities of the elderly with dementia in recuperating facilities. The thorough investigation and observation works were made to them from the view points of daily living behaviors and behavioral places of the recuperating elderly. This article discusses about the basic characteristics of the elderly and the actual condition of the daily living activities of the elderly with dementia in recuperating facilities for the aged with dementia. The results of this study are summarized as follows; There is no wide difference between geriatric hospital and nursing home for the aged with dementia on the characteristic of living behaviors of the elderly with dementia. The usage of behavioral places in recuperating facilities are influenced by the physical environments and the basic characteristics of the elderly with dementia.

This paper aims to clarify the transformation and housing spatial form of the Port Settlement of Rivershore in Sangbu-village, Samrangjin. The form of site are many fixed forms, has the narrow width of a site and the length is long. Although built as a shop house those days, there is much what changed to the residence now. If the space composition of a residence is seen, it is one building and what goes in and out through the door is common. When a focus is applied and analyzed to the transformation of a residence, position change of formation of the door and an entrance is noticeable.
