The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual condition of the multicultural family support center in Gyeongnam area in order to provide more faithful services for the multicultural family members. As a research method, the social characteristics of multicultural families were examined through literature review, and the installation and operation standard of the support center was reviewed. In addition, 15 multicultural family support centers set up and operated in Gyeongnam area were identified and the characteristics of the plan composition of the detailed case facilities were identified. As a result, the characteristics of multicultural family support center area size, composition type, and operation type were revealed. Through analysis of the spatial areas of the regional support centers of cities and counties, it was revealed that 42.1% of the education area, 40.7% of the administrative area, 12.0% of the consultation area and 5.2% of the exchange area were analyzed. In addition, when the dedicated area of ​​the multicultural family support center is a small-scale facility, it has been found that the space for administration, counseling, and education is secured.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual situation of residents' participation in rural development projects, to identify their performance and problems, and suggest ways to develop desirable villages in rural areas. From reviewing relevant pre-studies, this study was done by interview, questionnaire, and observation targeting 140 leaders and residents of exampled village of the project in Jeollanam-do, as well as by listening opinions of relative experts. This study is largely classified into 4 parts, review of character and appearing background of village development project, review of theoretical discussion about residents' participation, evaluation of accomplishments and analysis of participation, and establishing a model for habitants-participating village development project and how to improve it. As a result of questionnaire, it was found urgent for habitants to convert their thinking about village development and their participation in it, to realize a model of this project, as well as political stimulus to promote that. Therefore, measures must be required to improve current village development projects and to promote them. First of all, a preparation period is required to sufficiently provide the village where habitants are willing to participate in, from the state of place selection. Besides, it is required to run away from profit-making businesses aiming at foreign people, to improvement of residents' welfare in a long term, and enhanced resources management in a broad view. Waste of working expenses seems to be solved through direct operation by a corporation in charge of profit-making businesses, under superstition of residents' community. Finally conclusion, expansion and practicalization of education to residents are essential, to promote their participation in rural development projects. Especially it must be practical education for habitants such as 'community-ship' or 'technology education in each interesting part,' rather than tour of other villages and unilateral lectures from experts. Along with this, a long term plan and systematic participation is more essential. Since planning itself can be mutual learning to enhance residents' capacity, a chance must be established to discuss and plan each part including resources-research, by making them participate in.

The purpose of this paper is to suggest the preliminary data for the improvement of the senior centers’ indoor environment and the upcoming progress located in rural areas. In wanju county, 81.8% of seniors were enrolled in senior centers, and used the facility everyday. Also, most of the users tended to use the facilities between 12 a.m. and 6 p.m. The majority of users had lunch at the senior centers. The facilities of most senior centers were in poor condition, and some had their restroom outdoor. Also, most senior centers are exposed to high concentrations of carbon dioxide during winter. During this season, the thermal environment in the restroom was bad. However, the users’ level of the facilities’ satisfaction was positive. Senior centers have been operating the facilities with difficulties, due to the low financial support from the local autonomous organization. The indoor temperature in most centers, especially, was above 30℃ during summer on account of lack of funding for airconditioning. Therefore, it could be recommended that the local autonomous entity start regular check-ups and repairs for the poor indoor environment and facilities, with more financial support and active supervision of the management.

This study aims to investigate the change in building density and residential environment after the reconstruction of decrepit public rental housing complexes formed in accordance with the Land Readjustment Project during the 1970s-80s. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, in terms of change in residential environment after the reconstruction, floor plans that were limited to two to four types and to small apartments measuring 42.9㎡(13py)-56.1㎡(17py) became varied, presenting 5-6 types of floor plans and various sizes of apartments. In particular, the reconstructed apartments were mainly built in a size smaller than 85(㎡) and in the 3LDK floor plan and staircase-style unit architectural structure in order to reflect the lifestyle of residents. Second, in terms of change in building density after the reconstruction, the building coverage ratio did not change a lot, but the floor area ratio showed great change depending on the complex, ranging from a minimum of 2.9 times (Singdong Complex) to a maximum of 5.4 times (Eoyangdong Complex). Such change is attributable to the reconstruction policy that aims to improve the residential environment for original residents, secure economic feasibility and efficiency, and reflect the lifestyle of residents while incorporating dividends assigned to the existing housing project members as well as the maximum floor area ratio allowed by the regulation. Additionally, in terms of change in the number of floors and building density after the reconstruction, the former 5-story apartments were changed to apartments with 16-28 stories. Accordingly, the number of households in each complex has also increased by 20%. Third, according to the characteristics of parking facilities in terms of the size and density of parking spaces, former apartment complexes had only aboveground parking lots, not underground parking area. The newly constructed apartment complexes have underground parking space, and the parking-housing ratio is 1.1-1.3 cars.

This paper presents improvement of consumer’s access and convenience to Farmers Market(Local Food Shop). We analyzed case studies and proposed plans of Local Food Shop and related facilities. The results are described below. Thorough pre-education and public relations with extensive support for agricultural products in the area and external support are necessary. Most importantly, the consuming population was close. These factors were the factors of success. Tourists' visit is effective. Consumer distance should be within 10km. Long distance tourists need a way to attract tourists on weekends. It is an advantage that there are many consumers. And it would be nice to have a market in the vicinity. And it is necessary to develop various activities such as experience activities and programs. Also, a place convenient for cooperation with the government office, public health center, etc. is good. Accessibility is enhanced when ICs of frequent highway and highway are close to cars. As a suggestion of placing a direct sales place, we will set up a place for consumers to collaborate and relax and also consider the convenience of providers. For the convenience of consumers' shopping, including sales outlets, we set up booths for daily necessities and industrial products, and place other agricultural cooperatives (NACF banks), local cafes and farmer restaurants in front. Consider multifunction combined service center for consumers and farmers.
