The purpose of this study was to evaluate the citizen satisfaction of fire station’s service quality using the SERVQUAL and examine the effect of citizen satisfaction of fire station’s service quality on organizational image. For this purpose, self-report questionnaires were developed to measure all the variables in the research model, which was distributed to 200 residents in the jurisdictions of the Gangwon-do Fire Department. And a total of 179 usable questionnaires were processed using SPSS Win(ver 22.0). The results of this study are as followed. First, it showed that empathy(β=.406) out of 5 service quality factors had the highest effect on citizen satisfaction followed by tangibles(β=.286), reliability(β=.093). But competence and assurance out of 5 service quality factors did not show up statistically significant effect. Second, it showed that citizen satisfaction of fire station’s service quality had a great effect on organizational image(β=.674). The results of this research revealed that firstly, the application of SERVQUAL in fire station’s service can be an important means to improve fire station’s service quality and citizen satisfaction. Secondly, examining the causal relationship between citizen satisfaction of fire station’s service quality and organizational image can be an useful policy basis to realize a customer-oriented ideology and establish an good image of fire administration organization from citizen.

Korea carried out reform of accounting standards so that the central and the local governments started adopting accrual-based accounting standards. In Korean, the central and the local government prepare each accounting standard. The U.S. (AICPA) and the U.K.(FRAB) whose decentralization levels are high operate dual accounting standard setting organizations while an advisory organization sets the accounting standard. France also has dual accounting setters of the central and the local governments while an independent advisory organization sets the accounting standard (CNOCP). This study explores alternatives to set proper government accounting standards. First, Korea needs to consider unification of practice support organization such as National Accounting Finance Statistics Center and Local Accounting Statistics Center. Second, establishing government accounting standards committee in the form of independent advisory organization could enhance independence, expertise, finance which would lead to the increased consistency in the government accounting standards.

This study attempts to deduce policy implications to enhance effectiveness of future health& welfare administrative organization based on historical changing process of organizational structure related to health& welfare administrative organization and analyses on its function and role by considering realistic, periodical, environmental situations of health& welfare administrative organization. For doing so, this study tries to analyze historical changing process of organizational structure related to health& welfare until recently after establishment of the government in 1948 from historical institutional perspective. Specially, this research looks into which influencing factors were affected in the process of organizational integration and dispersion, and intends to explain them based on path dependence. By applying research and analysis framework including key concepts of external shock, contingency, critical junctures, path dependence, and path evolution, this thesis will conduct a study on path evolution process of health& welfare administrative organization. In addition, this study has a meaning in examining the criteria on how it has been made by certain logics in the process of historical changes of organizational structure related to health& welfare.

Recently, it is perceived the demand of change in rental housing market by way of low interest rate, low birth rate, and rapid aging, which has not been experienced in the past decades. It is pointed out the increase of housing costs of the ordinary people as the one of factors to the demand of change in rental housing market. Accordingly, it is very important to understand the preference on the Jeonse(the lease of a house on a deposit basis) and monthly payment housing in order to have an establishment of proper housing policy for the settlement of the ordinary people. The study is trying to investigate the preference structure on the Jeonse and/or monthly payment housing to the landlord and leaseholder in rental housing market. We conduct the survey to the current landlords and leaseholders in Seoul and Busan areas. The result of analysis is that the changing rate of Jeonse to monthly payment housing is reflected the risk premium. Also, the Jeonse is prefer to the monthly payment housing as far as the housing satisfaction is concerned. In addition, the Jeonse is revealed the function of capital accumulation for the preparing one’s own house. The preference of monthly payment housing as a view of landlords is expected to continue when it comes to keep the low interest rate.

This study analyzed the influences of knowledge about dementia and self-efficacy in health management of the elderly on their behaviors for the promotion of dementia prevention with an attitude toward dementia as a mediating factor in order to obtain basic data for the enhancement of their behaviors for the promotion of dementia prevention. As a result of the analysis, it was found that their self-efficacy in health management affected their behavior for the promotion of dementia prevention, directly and at the same time, mediating their positive attitudes toward dementia while their knowledge about dementia affected their behavior for the promotion of dementia prevention, mediating their positive attitudes toward dementia. The results of this study suggest that efforts should be made for the elderly to have a positive attitude toward dementia and to have exact knowledge about dementia and confidence in health management in order to induce their behavior for the promotion of dementia prevention in the future. In other words, it was found that a clinical approach would be necessary, focused on their knowledge about dementia, self-efficacy in health management and a positive attitude toward dementia.

There were studies only about the appropriate size of city when it comes to regional population growth. However, since the Korea reached the lowest level of birth rate, and became super aged society, the demographic transition took main place in local policy. This study tries to explain local factors which effect not only changes of gross population, but working age population, youth population, gross population, and net migration etc. Particularly, Unless, existing studies about population size mainly explained regional spatial characteristics and amenites, this study adopted spatial innovativeness which is highlighting in 21C on existing research model: political factors and creative amenity. Subject of analysis is local government, the phase of population growth in capital area differs from non-capital area; capital dummy factor used. Also, by analysing cities and counties data separately, this study explains what kinds of differences that the factors affect population size of city area and county area despite local government. According to the result of empirical analysis, spatial policy, financial policy and population policy as political factors influence in the change of population size. Traffic accidents rate and low income group ratio among spatial amenity have a negative relation with population growth. 'Tolerance'(foreign population rate of increase) as creative amenity has significant positive relation with population growth, however, creative manpower(regional R&D population rate) has little relation with population growth. Population growth is also positively influenced by housing supply and capital area or not.

In this research, the investigation of social capital of the mega event site was systematized and the variables were drawn and the measurement standard was developed. Based on precedent research, the social capital of the mega event site, that is the core variable, social value, and causal sequence of the sense of community and cooperation will were examined and the research model was set. There is the importance in one that this study investigated the social capital of the mega event site and social value and relationship between sense of community and cooperation will by applying the concept that it is the social capital stand out in many academic fields to the study of issue recently. Moreover, it can say that be actually of service to the development of organization in that the stratagem that revealed importance of social capital, that is the capital based on relationship between member in the organization, and promotes the cooperation of the local resident for was sought by studying the social capital of the pursuing mega event site members and social value and sense of community and on cooperation will.

This study attempts to build an index to measure accounting transparency at the central government by examining the current financial statement of various departments. It also discusses on how to utilize the index at the central and local governments. Enhancing the governmental accounting transparency would be helpful in increasing the utility of financial statement of the government. And thus, measuring the accounting transparency would be the first step to enhance the utility of governmental accounting system. This study finds that the use of index to measure accounting transparency at the government sector is rarely seen, in part due to recent introduction of accrual basis accounting system. By employing criteria which are used by the Board of Audit office, this study attempts to build index to measure government accounting transparency. It appears that the index measures the transparency level quite satisfactorily, and with minor changes in the future, the measure could be used to measure transparency level at the local government setting as well. In that sense, the measure is expected to help improve governmental accounting transparency overall in the years to come.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of participation motivation of continuing professional education on life satisfaction in dental hygienists. The self-administered structured questionnaire was used with a sample 276 persons of dental hygienists. Data were collected using a self questionnaire from 11 October to 15 November, 2014. The participation motivation of continuing professional education were measured 18 items and divided 4 factors and perceived activity and satisfaction of life were measured using the 5-items respectively. Data were analyzed by SPSS and AMOS program. The overall fitness of the hypothesis model to the data were good by =11.878, p<0.001, GFI=0.986, CFI=0.981, IFI=0.982, AGFI=0.950, RNR=0.031, RESEA=0.061. The internal participation motivation factor of continuing professional education revealed direct effect and total effect on satisfaction of life and the explanation power was 50.1%. Through these results, in order to improve the Internal participation motivation factor of continuing professional education, it is necessary to develop the ability intervention program for the personnel. It is also indispensable to enhance the perceived activity.

This study conducts a comparative analysis on the effect that Pilates exercise using small tools has on the muscular strength, muscular endurance and symmetry in the lower limbs of elderly females to verify the effect of Pilates exercise and provide basic set of data on exercise programs needed for the elderly. The subjects were elderly females aged 65 or older who were divided into an experiment group(N=17) and a control group(N=14). The experiment group participated in a program three times a week, 60 minutes per session, for 12 weeks, while the control group were guided not to participate in any physical activities other than daily life activities. To evaluate the muscular strength, musuclar endurance and symmetry in the lower limbs, the equal speed functions of the lower limbs were compared through an ANCOVA to verify whether there is significant difference between the two groups and between before and after. The findings showed that the muscular strength and muscular endurance of the extensor and flexor in the left side lower limb of the experiment group. The values of the left side and the right side changed by equal measure, having a significant effect on the lower limb balance. Therefore, Pilates exercise using small tools were verified to be an effective exercise that strengthens the muscular strength and muscular endurance of the lower limbs in elderly females, as well as symmetry of lower limbs.
