In this paper, aiming at the learning deficiency in the given bargaining systems, the decimal code, instead of binary code, is adopted to prevent variables from going beyond limitative scope, which will cause exceptional strategy. Furthermore, a dynamic bargaining system is presented based on machine learning (MLDBS). The result of experiment shows that the agent in MLDBS not can only identify its opponents successfully but can change its strategy in term of different opponents in a bargaining process. It is shown by the experimental datum that MLDBS increase successful times of bargaining and enhance the average payoff of agent.

A novel printed Chinese character recognition method based on Degraded Hidden Markov Model is proposed in this paper, which can be applied to engineering. We extract one‐dimensional strokes sequence as the feature of the character under some rules and then take it as the input of the classifier we designed. As for the design of the classifier, we adopt the ergodic model instead of the traditional left‐right model, the performance of the classifier is proved by our experiment, and the recognition rate under out method is less affected by font.

This paper suggests a new and simple Korean input method which enables foreigners input Korean scripts not knowing Korean language. This method well applies the principles of Korean consonants' hieroglyphic form and vowels' imitations of the world: with only 9 elements it can input lots of Korean syllabic characters of the ancient and present. The input elements makes it possible to array on mobile phones sets' keyboards. After increasing its inputting speed, this method also can be popularized among Koreans.

Broadcasting system in the world has been changing rapidly analog into digital and most of the countries have plan to shutdown the analog system. Digital system has a high efficiency of bandwidth because it can easily do data compression. Service is being diversified and increased requirements of the data quality. In this reason data protection from hacker is most important for contents and data delivery system. In the broadcasting field, we called CAS system widely adopted for encryption and decryption of data and contents. Also, digital stream should be stored in the terminal for easy playback at once. DVR(Digital Video Recorder) is one of the important components of the broadcasting and IPTV terminals.

The importance of information retrieval is increasing with spread of internet and WWW (World Wide Web), and development of network technology. Therefore it gives us to search information more effectively from large corpus. In this study, the Korean-Chinese crossing retrieval algorithm is developed in different way of other retrieval systems, using OPA (Ortho- Phonetic Alphabet) which have Jungum as an intermediate language. And the algorithm is evaluated from retrieval using conversion of Jungum for pronunciation symbols and 2500 Chinese characters in the order of frequency in use, and it works with better processing speed than other algorithms.

The Digital Radio switchover should be considered as audio-based multimedia including audience, transmission and universal service. Digital switchover in AM provides the multiple transmission mode, therefore the adoption of DRM service as standard is efficient because most of countries adopt DEM service. FM has similar technologies in transmission, therefore the adoption of terrestrial DMB way as standard is economical, considering an integration of terrestrial DMB and supply of set-topbox near the future. The Digital Radio switchover must adopt technology standard suitable for the national broadcasting environment and the international broadcasting market.

문화와 문화, 지평과 지평이 만나(cross‐cultural event) 융합하는 데서 의미가 발생할 때 이것을 번역이라고 말한다. 그래서 해석학에서는 번역을 두 문화를 이어주는 다리라고 부른다. 그 다리는 튼튼하면서도(전달, 건너감) 아름다움을 갖춘 작품(미학)이어야 한다는 의미에서 번역은 소통의 미학이다. 개인적으로 번역을 프라하의 카를대교라고 부르고 싶다. 다리 자체가 조각품이면서 수많은 관광객이 딛고 건너는 튼튼한 다리이기 때문이다. 번역에서 문화적인 요소는 전달 기능이 있을 때는 이 국적인 요소를 그대로 살리는 이질화(foreignize)를, 전달이 되지 않을 때는 모국어 속에 동일화(domesticate)를 선 택하게 된다. 이때 문화적인 배경을 모르고서는 정확한 번역을 할 수가 없다. 예를 들어 “Fault is not in the stars but in ourselves.” 이 대사는 잉그릿드 버그만과 그레고리 펙이 주연한 영화 ‘백색의 공포(Spellbound)’에 나오는 대사지만 셰익스피어 희곡 <줄리어스 케사르>에서 따 온 말이다. star를 말 그대로 ‘별’로 해석하면 전달력이 약하다. 서양문화 속에서 star 가 가지는 문화적인 배경을 생각해서 정확한 뜻을 파악해야 한다. 로미오와 줄리엣 중 “I defy you, stars!”, 12야(夜) 중 “Jove and stars are praised!” 등 많은 작품에서 셰익스피어는 star를 ‘하늘’, ‘운명’, ‘행운’ 또는 ‘타고 난’ 등의 의미로 사용하고 있다. 서양은 점성술로 운명을 점치는 문화이므로 따라서 위의 말은 “잘못은 운명에 있는 게 아니라 우리 자신에게 있다”로 번역 된다.
