AnYin is the abbreviation of Ahnmatae ZhengYin Chinese Hanzi Input System. It is very easy to learn and the fastest Hanzi Input system in the world. It can input 200 to 400 Chinese characters per minute. The reason for such a fast input system is due to the simultaneous input system of ZhengYin (also known as Hangul), which is one of the writing system, GB 12052‐89, of minorities in China. It is used as the input medium. Unlike PinYin, ZhingYin alphabets could be typed simultaneously to extract a syllabic Hanzi character, like creating a harmonious sound by pushing several keys on a piano keyboard at once. It requires a fewer key strokes than any other input system. Each character will have its own sound when it creates character on the monitor. AnYin 3.0 has approximately 65,000 characters, which contains almost all modern Hanzi. As it has standard pronunciations on each character as it is created on the monitor, it can be used as a good tool to teach Butongwha to the people who use different dialects, eliminate mass majority of illiterates in China and easily teach standard Chinese language to foreigners who want to learn Chinese language.

The vigorous but short‐lived military conquests of the Genghis Khan and the Mongol in the 13th century brought the Mongols well into half of the world and also Goryeo was invaded for seven times. In 1271, Jeju became the base of the Sambyeolcho Rebellion against the Mongol Empire. After Sambyeolcho was defeated in 1273, Jeju was placed under the Mongols’ direct rule, and it became the Goryeo territory back again in 1367. The Mongols, who ruled Korea for 100 years, brought horse breeding to Jejudo, which has become a major vocation for and has existed since 1423 with all its traditions, culture, and language still intact, including shamanistic sorcery A very different dialect of Korean is spoken in Jeju‐do even today as a direct result of the Mongols' influence. Jejudo dialect is said to be the most difficult to understand and sounds like a totally different language. They said the language is Korean but has influenced from Mongolian. Professor Yong‐bong Kang insisted that Jeju dialect differs greatly from dialects of the Korean penninsula and preserves many archaic words, which are lost in them.

A Chinese complement construction composed of a head and its following complement contains distinctive linguistic features, while most other languages like Korean, English, etc. have no such features. The general classification of a complement construction by Chinese linguists is helpful but not enough to be completely transferred to a target language such as Korean. In this paper, we propose an approach where complement constructions are analyzed and classified based on the contrastive and computational viewpoint of the target language in Chinese‐to‐Korean machine translation. Further, the translation ambiguities of a head‐ndcomplement dependent case, which is the most complex type of complement construction in terms of translation, are resolved by k‐means clustering using mutual information. Some experimental results of such resolved ambiguities are provided from random samples. The proposed method improved the accuracy of disambiguation by 17.3 % with respect to the baseline.

A new hash algorithm with private key is proposed based on chaotic‐mapping, by reshaping a piece‐wise linear chaotic mapping. This algorithm based on the cipher block chain mode makes the iteration initial point as the private key, encrypts arbitrary length plaintext data to 128 bits hash value. The proposed algorithm encrypts multi‐bit at one time, which reduces the chaotic iterating times and improves the encryption speed. Through theoretical analysis and simulation results, the proposed hash function could satisfy the requirements of unidirectionality, initial value and key sensitivity, anti‐collision and real time, which could be applied to the identity authentication conveniently, safely and efficiently.

The representation and acquisition of knowledge play a key role in studies on information processing and natural language interpretation. Also, they are the principal issues in establishing a knowledge database. Only highly formalized descriptive systems or knowledge databases can be processed by computers. On the basis of the descriptive mechanisms of lexicalist theory, the present paper tries to provide a detailed description and integration of the syntactic, semantic and other information of Korean, in the form of lexical structures.

This paper described about alpha numeric numbering system and tri-phonologram keypad for standard infra-structure of Korean alphabet processing. And system of universal authorized personal numbers is designed. The concept of this study will be extended to supra-structure of wired/wireless communication devices, keyboards, mobile phones, and so on.

I would like to prove Korean alphabet's structural excellencies by comparative experiments among Korean, English, and Chinese alphabets. I measured speed and accuracy of perception of each alphabet by varying distance between people and letters and by changing its width and length. As the result of the experiments, Korean characters' length is shorter than Chinese's in same square. Moreover, Korean characters are more percept than Chinese characters even if Korean alphabet was far away from experimental subject more than Chinese alphabet. This shows that Korean alphabet is relatively simpler in terms of character formation so that it would be more easily recognizable. As another result of comparative experiments with English character, Korean alphabet would be proved to occupy smaller space than English to represent the same information given to the subjects because Korean Alphabet use the orthography of 'Compose syllabic units'. The experiments would prove that Korean alphabet is also easier to recognize than English alphabet.

According to the circumstances of rapid development on information technology and incessant appearance of the advanced technology, the related new terminologies are coming out unceasingly. Therefore, it is very important touchstone that the new terminologies related information technology might be captured promptly and the terminologies should be defined correctly to deliver the exactly meaningful definition to the necessary places rapidly. First of all, the construction of the new terminologies being increased geometrically might be ready to make up the establishment of terminology on the basis of standard principles. It is also necessary to construct the system for the standardization of terminologies among the basic mechanisms being created and being utilized on the establishment level of terminology. That is the problem on the construction of basic systems for the technology and culture. In the present paper, the correct selection mechanism of the new terminology is proposed in the selective works of new terminologies related the information technologies for the guide book of development in the information science and technology. The description problems of foreign languages, Chinese characters, and new terminology distribution are also defined systematically on the basis of the essential principles in the formation processes of new terminologies. In addition, the selection problems and selection methods of abbreviations are also defined systematically on the basis of formation principles for the terminologies.

Syntactic parsing is one of the most important elements in the machine translation systems of which base language is Korean, and it is one of the most difficult tasks in parsing Korean sentences to analyze the dependency among clauses. Though machine learning methods achieved high performance in many natural language tasks, they are difficult to be applied to analyzing clausal dependency since this task handles parse trees directly. To tackle this problem, this paper proposes a novel method which uses parse trees in analyzing clausal dependency. In this method, the structural information and the lexical information are separated, and a proper base kernel for each information is proposed respectively. Finally, a composite kernel combining both base kernels is used to analyze unseen cases. When the proposed method is applied to support vector machines, it shows 82.12% of accuracy for STEP 2000 corpus, which implies that the proposed method is plausible.
