- Broadcasting system in the world has been changing rapidly analog into digital and most of
the countries have plan to shutdown the analog system. Digital system has a high efficiency of
bandwidth because it can easily do data compression. Service is being diversified and
increased requirements of the data quality. In this reason data protection from hacker is most
important for contents and data delivery system. In the broadcasting field, we called CAS system
widely adopted for encryption and decryption of data and contents.
Also, digital stream should be stored in the terminal for easy playback at once. DVR(Digital
Video Recorder) is one of the important components of the broadcasting and IPTV terminals.
