In three dimensional (3D) computer games, the deferred rendering is an effective way to process realistic visual effects such as dynamic lights, shadow, depth of field (DOF), and high dynamic range (HDR) using multiple geometric buffers(G-buffers) regardless of the scene complexity. However, the G-buffer only stores information about a single pixel in each texel, so transparency with alpha blending on deferred rendering is difficult compared to forward rendering. The conventional way to process transparency on deferred rendering is to separate opaque and transparent renderings. But the object sorting required in it causes the speed degradation. Nevertheless the transparency techniques without object sorting such as screen door, interfaced, and stochastic can reduce the rendering time, but those cause the image quality degradation. This paper compares transparency techniques on deferred rendering. The Game Institute 3D game engine is modified to measure the rendering speeds of transparency techniques. The deferred rendering can speed up the rendering time of about 1.48 times than the forward rendering. The transparency techniques without object sorting can also speed up the rendering time of about 1.1 times than the conventional technique. Plus, six 4K ultra high definition (UHD) game images are used to measure the extent of quality degradation of the transparency techniques without object sorting in terms of peak noise signal ratio (PSNR). Consequently, the interlaced technique can get better PSNRs of about 124.8% in the same than both the screen door and the stochastic techniques.

Risk management in project chain or multi-project is becoming a hot spot in the field of project management, however the analysis of project chain risk elements transmission almost stays in the angle of qualitative. So, in order to study the risk transmission process in project chain, the analytic model of project chain risk element transmission was established. In the beginning, the data mining method is introduced to acquire the risk elements transmission matrix and estimate the state of the risk elements through the previous state. Then, for ranking both probabilistic type and fuzzy type risk elements, probability and fuzzy numbers were transformed to interval numbers and ranking score was calculated by a ranking method. Finally, through the computation, the key risk element of different states can be obtained, through which decision makers can adjust the distribution of resources and control the key risk element. The analysis of a case has verified the validity and practicability of this method.
Robust Method for Hand Gesture Recognition Using Support Vector Machine

The aim of this paper is to explore and recognize hand gestures against complex backgrounds and lighting conditions. Mostly, previous approaches use off-line recognition for the hand motion, which make any gesture system not realistic and not suitable for on-line applications. Furthermore, 3D dynamic features are further extracted from the hand gesture path based on stereo strategy. Thus, the extracted features of dynamic affine-invariants such as location, orientation and velocity are derived from 3D spatio-temporal hand motion. After that the feature vectors are constructed by quantization and then employed to multi-class Support Vector Machine for training or texting. An application of isolated gestures from alphabet characters (A-Z) and numbers (0-9) are trained and tested with superior performance. Furthermore, the results are promising on several video samples in different situations.
Optimal Proportions for the Facial Features of Cats

This research measures the optimal proportions for the facial features of five members of the cat family: lions, tigers, leopards, cheetahs, and domestic cats. Focusing on the eyes, nose, and mouth of each animal, the optimal proportions were examined to determine the optimal space between both eyes and the vertical and horizontal distances. First, actual images of cats (viz., lions, tigers, leopards, cheetahs, and domestic cats) were obtained from a Google Image search, with which the eyes, nose, and mouth of the cats were measured. Next, the optimal proportions were derived for the horizontal and vertical distances in each of the five mammals.
iStoryBook: An Interactive Media Supporting Dialogic Reading for Children's Reading Comprehension

Given that successful reading requires the development of both basic reading skills and comprehension skills, it is important to understand how to support children in their reading comprehension skills development, in addition to providing them with the opportunities to develop the basic reading skills. According to the previous studies, dialogic reading can enhance the children’s abilities to improve their reading comprehension. This study strove to develop a media application to support the improvement of children’s reading comprehension by using interactive media technology. We developed the Interactive Story Book (iStoryBook) to support dialogic reading between parents and children. In order to realize it, we surveyed previous studies, extracted promising strategies, and applied them to interactive media technologies. iStoryBook provides a parent-involved children’s reading process that will improve children’s reading comprehension without making excessive demands. At the end of this paper, we introduce the results of in-depth interviews with experts after their use of the iStoryBook.

With the current development of science and technology, people’s living standards are improving, and the advent of the internet indirectly promotes the development of the logistics industry. In order to ensure smooth and order development of the logistics industry, the paper makes researches and applications on supply chain performance under the perspective of logistics services. The paper firstly interprets the relevant concepts, and combines qualitative and quantitative methods in accordance with the selection principle of supply chain index to establish supply chain performance model. At the same time, taking port logistics service for cases, the paper researches the weight of index through selecting related index in accordance with experts discussion method, establishes model by using network level analysis method, and uses Lingo software for calculation to get the accounted important degree of each index as well as liberal port, international degree, and highway transportation capacity’s vital importance for logistics supply chain performance evaluation model. The second is port regional conditions, relatively unimportant conclusion is cargo handling capacity with each thousand TEU average stay time of the ship handling in port, and relevant measures in accordance with the conclusion are raised.

Low quality of underwater image due to color spread and absorption deals with the propagation of light wave length. In this paper we propose exponential equation approach to enhance underwater image color and maintaining color constancy. Exponential approach is conducted through two steps: first, determining the relation between the color intensity of an image underwater and the color intensity of an image in a certain depth; second, determining the coefficient of underwater image color absorption by using least square. The result of exponential approach is measured by using Peak Signal to Noise Ratio, yielding an average value of 19.18 and visually the result of the image color approximates its original color. We concluded that exponential approach can determine the color constancy level which in turns can enhance the underwater image just as its original color.
Research on Overload Monitoring and Alarming based on APP

As the acceleration of urban construction, the dump heavies(building soil-transporting vehicle) shuttle back and forth in urban road. For the sake of profits, the crazy overload transportation makes the vehicles lose braking control and steering ability in emergency state. The common occurrence of traffic disasters brings huge hidden trouble of urban traffic safety. Its harm is self-evident, causing serious damage to infrastructure, to threaten the safety of life and property of the people, to disrupt the market economic order, but also cause environmental pollution. In recent years, the traffic management departments and urban management departments jointly monitor the discharging heavy trucks in the forms of surveillance and reporting by the masses, installing camera and monitor, self-discipline and self-supervision of investors, etc. These forms are limited to the forms and surface, so they cannot effectively stop the overload of self-discharging trucks. How to better and accurately monitor and stop the over-load? The paper intends to achieve intelligent monitoring and alarming on the overload of dump heavy through internet + public transportation monitoring. First the controller is selected and the weighting sensing system is designed through selecting the weighting sensor and determining the installation position of weighting sensor. Then the construction of APP overload monitoring is finished by the three steps including constructing dual-core system, generating database and designing APP display module. Finally after finishing the design of intelligent overload detection system, the paper conducts experiments to validate its effectiveness. The results show that when considering no electromagnetic, the overload equipment and APP software system could receive the overload information timely and reliably.
Research on Modern Sports Training Method Based on Computer Virtual Technology

Under the background of the fast development of computer industry and with the virtual technology being widely used, information technology in China has made significant progress; however, sports information teaching is still in a relatively low level. Now the application of information technology in physical training has become a big issue which needs to be improved. On the basis of forward kinematics theory and inverse kinematics theory of human engineering and by collecting three-dimensional human body motion information, three-dimensional human body motion model which include the spine movement, arm movement, step movement and the whole human body movement has been built up and simulation experiment on the human body has been conducted. After virtual technology being applied to physical training field, a conclusion that body movement will be much improved due to the application of virtual technology can be drawn. The effect from high to low is obvious: the most positive effect is on step movement, then arm movement, the whole body movement as well as spine movement. In general, the application of virtual technology in modern physical training field promotes the development of sports career and also expands the applications of computer technology.
