A Packet Loss Tolerated Method for Data Integrity Protection in Wireless Sensor Networks

Model of Fishermen Guidance System (FGS) Based GPS and GSM

This paper is aimed to develop a model navigation and application of Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global System Mobile (GSM) in the model system of the fishing guide. Furthermore, this paper describes what and how a major role in popularizing a fishing guide system model. Modifications that should be made in each unit to get a way to use the GPS and GSM according to fishermen dynamic environment is described. Modifications were made in the system model unit fishing guides also assist in finding a reliable and accurate planimetric solution in the case of poor visibility of GPS and GSM satellite, which is usually common in the fishing environment. In the model system models fishing guide fishing guide system based on GPS and GSM can be successfully implemented in an environment designed for fishermen in developing regions. This, if implemented in a planned will bring a significant increase in the revolutionary Indonesian Fisheries. The Model of Fishermen Guidance System Based GPS and GSM that has been built allowing an institution or an individual to be able to control, monitor and communicate in a geographic coordinate system (map). Validation by experts and users indicate that the system is operationally feasible to use the results of the feasibility level of 87.61% and 81.67% of the expert user and both showed good category. The operator will log into the appropriate application access rights are allowed. The resulting device system has several characteristics including: Easy to use (user friendly), Easy to carry (mobile handsets), Informative, Applicative, High Technology, and Network Wide. Based on daily monitoring, coordinate information distributed to the fishermen either via GPS, SMS (Short Massage Services) or through a printed map. Generally the fishermen using a printed map, due to the reading simpler and faster. Performance is based on the acquisition of fish fisherman fishermen after the data supplied koordiant previously, there were no reports that the fishermen do not get fish. With location information of fish that are easily achieved the goal of capturing the fisherman turned fish into taking fish. Basically the fishermen helped with the fish location information from the beginning. Location of fish that are informed by much more than the previous system in which fishermen have fish location data based on experiences.
The Detection of Ancient Dwellings Based on Gabor Histogram Features

In order to detect objects which may have features of different sizes and directions from satellite map, some bounding boxes which surround these objects are obtained, and convolve with multi-parameters Gabor wavelet to get multi-direction Gabor amplitudes. By computing the average of these Gabor amplitudes, the local texture features of bounding box can obtain, which are direction-invariant. By using histogram algorithm, these Gabor averages are projected onto a given base (some interval divisions) to get different projection coefficients, which can be combined into a feature vector. The vector combines local texture features and global statistic features to representative the texture features of the object. Recognition and Classification of ancient dwellings can be realized by using GLVQ. Experiments show, the vector can representative those irregular and low resolution ancient objects that are based on Gabor direction-invariant local texture features and histogram global features. The GLVQ classifier based the vector of histogram has a good robust, and obtains better detecting effect.

Mobile Internet cloud computing has the features which convenient access, covering a wide range, however, due to the large number of the application service, the design of the software become difficult, aiming at this problem, the paper develops a software application platform which decoupling of data and service, it effectively solves the difficulties of development problems and scalability of the platform. And it gives its concrete realization process, which provides a useful exploration for the realization of the mobile Internet cloud platform.
Development of a Sensing Module for Standing and Moving Human Body Using a Shutter and PIR Sensor

Advances in technology have led to the development of various sensing devices such as on-body and health-care monitoring that can integrate from different sources and can initiate actions or trigger alarms when needed. This paper developed a sensing module of standing and moving human body using a shutter and a pyroelectric infrared (PIR) sensor. The module consists of Fresnel lens, PIR sensor, interface circuit of the PIR, microcontroller unit (MCU), and light emitting diode (LED) as an alarm indicator. The principle for standing human body is to chop the thermal heat of human body utilized by the camera shutter. The human sensed signal is the controlling part of this algorithm, the detected interruption serves as its function. By merging the whole apparatus including the print circuit board (PCB), the developed product of this proposed sensing module can replace the commercially available detector. Experiment results show that sensing distance is about 7.0 meters with a sensing angles of around 110 degrees at room temperature. In these conditions, the sending ratio is 100% and the module’s power dissipation is rated as 100 mW.

As a kind of modern technology of growing seedling, Tray seedling is efficient with little plant diseases and insect pests, and save labors, which make it develop rapidly in domestic. When growing seedlings, there are not only holes that are not germinant or missed, but also inferior seedlings, which lead to leakage of planting and empty of planting during follow-up mechanized transplanting. In order to utilize each area of holes and seedbeds, holes without seedlings need to be transplanted filling the gaps with seedlings. The paper introduces research of visual inspection of tray seedling and the system of automatic transplanting domestic and overseas, explores the research progress of automatic transplanting system from four aspects, which are technic of visual inspection, end effector, control system and route optimization. The paper proposes existing problems and development of domestic visual inspection and automatic transplanting system, which offers references for follow-up study and marketing application.

This paper provides the implementation mechanism of the pmipv6-based partially distributed mobility management (DMM) and performs extensive simulations under various traffic environments for verification and evaluation of the proposed scheme. The simulation results indicated that Mobility Anchor and Access Router (MAAR) could distribute and manage all IP data packet flow between a corresponding node (CN) and mobile node (MN). Therefore, the implementation and performance analysis of proposed mechanism is essential to understand the fundamental features of DMM, which includes a method of detecting MN and managing MN’s location.

Flank milling is a method of line contact machining and also is an important method in machining aerospace structures components, turbine blades and so on. In this paper, flank milling of Ti6AL4V is conducted with carbide tools on CNC machining center. First, acquired cutting force signals are analyzed in time domain and frequency domain based on Matlab software to obtain the distribution of cutting force energy. Second, the flank milling force experimental formulas are established by means of regression analysis. Finally, the influence of cutting parameters such as feed per tooth, the axial depth of cut, cutting width and cutting speed on cutting force is studied. The curves between cutting parameters and cutting force are obtained by analyzing the flank milling experiment. This research has certain guiding significance in selecting cutting parameters for flank machining Ti6AL4V.

Nickel based superalloy Inconel 718 is difficult to machine as a material. The prediction model of surface roughness in high speed milling of Nickel-based Superalloy Inconel 718 was developed based on multiple regression analysis. The model is established from the experiments conducted on a XH714D matching center. The predicted results by using this model agree very well with those obtained from experiments, and the Prediction model of surface roughness of nickel based superalloy can provide a foundation to optimize cutting parameters and control surface quality.

With the advent of TCP/IP protocol suite the overall era of communication technologies had been redefined. Now, we can’t ignore the presence of huge amount of IP traffic; data, voice or video increasing day by day creating more pressure on existing communicating media and supporting back bone. With the humongous popularity of Internet the overall traffic on Internet has the same story. Focusing on transmission of IP traffic in an optical network with signals remaining in their optical nature generated at particular wavelength, proposed is the switching of optically generated IP packets through optical cross connects based on translation of wavelength when an IP packet is crossing the optical cross connect. Adding the concepts of layer 3 routing protocols along with the wavelength translation scheme, will help in spanning the overall optical network for a larger area.

The W3C Open Annotation Community Group’s Open Annotation (OA) Data Model is emerging as a standardized Web Annotation Data Model. We argue that a friendly interactive visual user interface for OA Data Model based annotation tools, which is largely based on an effective user interface model, plays an essential role in the usability of the tools. In this paper we propose an Interactive Visual User Interface Model for Open Annotations (or simply IVUIM4OA), which allows the annotating user to dynamically transform OA data into a visual representation and to interactively manipulate the visual objects to modify the OA data or produce new one. IVUIM4OA is an adaptation of a generic information visualization model, the Data State Reference Model, for the specifics of the visualization of OA data; it is further extended with view operators that enable the user to interact with the visual objects. We implemented a prototype multimedia annotation tool on the basis of IVUIM4OA and conducted case study experiments with the prototype tool. The implementation and experimental results show that the proposed IVUIM4OA is feasible and works well with the OA Data Model, in such a way that the annotating user can obtain a better understanding of and more intuitive interaction with the annotation data.

MRTD (minimum resolvable temperature difference) is an important parameter to evaluate the infrared thermal imager. MRTD is not only related to the spatial resolution of the system, but also to many factors such as optical system, detector array and so on. The measurement technique and principle of the medical infrared thermal imager’s MRTD is deeply analyzed, and the MRTD measurement model is established in this paper. The MRTD measurement system of infrared thermal imager based on CCD imaging technology is designed. CCD is used to carry on the interpretation of temperature difference in this system instead of the human eye, which can avoid the effect of some factors on the subjective image quality evaluation, such as the contrast, the human interference flaw and so on. The sub-pixel edge detection algorithm is used to deal with the four-bar target image, which can effectively suppress the interface of the random noise on four-bar target image. The experimental results show that the MRTD testing accuracy of the system can reach 0.055℃.

The mobile campus guide is a location-based mobile application. Making use of the sensors installed on a smart phone, it recognizes the building in the picture taken by the phone camera and plays a video related to the building. This paper enhances the campus guide with watching status recognition. If a user holds still his smart phone aiming at a building, then the enhanced campus guide identifies the building aimed at and starts playing a video related to the building. The player is interactive, i.e., if the user touches a hotspot (an object on the screen in which the user is interested), the player pauses the current video and starts playing another video related to the hotspot.

Research on the Dynamic Scenes’ Ability to Adjust to the RFID Anti-Collision Calculation Method

Anti-collision calculation method is an important technique in the RFID system. On the basis of the research of RFID’ s special decoding method and classic anti-collision method in a dynamic environment, using results of the ability of the reader to test the ability of the electronic tags to adjust itself to the blank time frames, controlling the reader’s region of communication and allowing the reader to be at its highest efficiency and decoding rate, combined with the binary tree calculation method, the ability of the tags to adjust to the binary tree anti-collision method. When the tags are adjusting to the dynamic environment, at the same time, the tags that are interfering with the process can be removed, improving the stability of the RFID signal. The results shows that as compared to the calculation method used now, this calculation method effectively controls the happening of collisions, increasing the efficiency of the RFID system’s reading of tags.

With development, access of Internet has allowed storage of huge documents containing information. Identifying near duplicate documents among those documents is a major problem in information retrieval due to their dimensionality which leads to high cost time. We propose an algorithm based on tf-idf method with importance and discriminative power of a term within a single document to speed up search process for detecting how documents are similar in collection. Using only 26.6% of original document size, our method performs well on efficiency and memory usage as we have reduced compare to the original one and that leads to a decreased time in searching process for similar documents in a collection.

The boundaries of computer vision are especially challenged by partial occluded ob-ject recognition. In this paper, we proposed a new algorithm that used to recognize the partially occluded objects in 2-D images. Two different cases of occlusion are considered. Firstly, when an object missing some parts. Secondly, objects are overlapping each other. This approach uses contour of an object. Adaptive Window Positioning (AWP) uses to extract features from a contour. The proposed method uses the orientation field as fea-tures of the fragment. Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) works for matching and find the similarity between sub-images. As experiment result, the proposed recognition algorithm works without prior segmentation and robust to identify missing and overlapping objects and it can woks with strength occlusion.

Dam deformation monitoring is quite important. Monitoring of dam deformation is important for ensuring people's normal lives and reducing losses. Dam deformation often experiences a relatively long time. The deformation rate is relatively small at the beginning time, and it is large at the later stage. Monitoring at the early stage of dam deformation is of great significance. The wireless sensor network has the characteristics of not being affected by the terrain, convenient arrangement and so on, which can be used to monitor the deformation of the dam. In order to improve the transmission efficiency of the wireless sensor network, data compression is helpful for the energy savings and transmission rate improving. In this paper, a dam monitoring system based on wireless sensor networks is developed. In this paper, a dam monitoring system based on wireless sensor network and GPS multi antenna is developed. In the network monitoring system and data acquisition using wireless sensor module, data transmission using data compression technology and data cache technology. At the end of the monitoring terminal, desktop cloud technology is used to process the data collected and show the real time dam deformation condition. This method can also be used in other object motion or deformation with large range and other monitoring field to improve the monitoring efficiency.

This work proposes a novel biologically motivated visual selective attention model for efficient visual searching, which is implemented by integrating three attention mechanisms: bottom-up attention, top-down attention, and spatial attention. Bottom-up attention generates salient locations by reflecting top-down biases as well as three primitive visual features: intensity, edge and color. Prototype-based object perception is proposed for top-down attention, in which a 3-D color histogram is applied to generate a prototype of the target object. And experience based spatial attention can determine acceleration to localize a target object, which is modeled by using memorized spatial location information updated by object-localization experience. In order to verify the performance of the proposed visual selective attention model, we apply the proposed model to a real application in pedestrian traffic signal detection, to be utilized as part of a blind guide system. The proposed selective attention model shows plausible performance in terms of accuracy and computation time while efficiently localizing pedestrian traffic signals.

Due to the limitation of hardware, Infrared (IR) image has low-resolution (LR) and poor visual quality. To enhance the Infrared image’s resolution, super-resolution (SR) is a good solution. However, the conventional SR methods have some drawbacks. Firstly, the trained dictionary is an unstructured dictionary, which may lead to worse results. Secondly, the representation of the image is too simple to effectively represent image. Finally, only one high-resolution (HR)-LR dictionary pair is adopted to infer HR IR image. However one HR-LR dictionary pair is not good enough to obtain good results. To resolve these problems, in this paper, firstly, the sparse dictionary is introduced into the IR image SR to get better results. Secondly, nonsubsampled contourlet transform (NSCT) is employed to obtain a better representation of IR image. Finally, to achieve better r-esults, two HR–LR sparse dictionary pairs, which consists of a primitive sparse dictionary pair and a residual sparse dictionary pair, instead of one HR-LR dictionary pair are adopted. The experiment results indicate that the subjective visual effect and objective evaluation acquire excellent performance in the proposed method. Besides, this method is superior to other methods.

This paper proposes a new method that utilized Android mobile phone to control the RGV (Rail Guided Vehicle)running through WIFI network to overcome the disadvantages of the traditional remote control can only control one-way communication for RGV in the Logistics and warehousing and realize two-way communication between the RGV and remote controller . The system is based on Android platform, and established a remote terminal system by all Android support resources. In this paper, it described the structure, function, software flow of the RGV remote terminal system and communication protocol between Android client and the RGV. The design is based on the Modbus TCP / IP protocol, to achieve a two-way communication between Android phone and the RGV.

The compensation effects of number of fiber spans and the residual dispersion per span (RDPS) in the combining of dispersion management (DM) and the midway optical phase conjugation on the optical transmission link consisted of the long fiber spans with 94 km of SMF length and -160 ps/nm/km of the dispersion-compensating fiber’s dispersion coefficient for 24 channels x 40 Gbps wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) signals. We confirm that the combining technique of DM and the midway optical phase conjugation is still effective to compensate for the distorted WDM signals through the optical link consisted of the long fiber spans. It is also confirmed that the compensation effect on the distorted WDM channels is more increased as the portion of the concentrated compensation is more increased than the portion of in-line compensation.

According to the retweeting mechanism based on user relations, we introduce the contacted state of an agent, and build a model of information propagation process in social networks. In the model, agents have two absorbing states, that is, the infected and refractory state. Experimental prove that small spreading rete can make information diffuse widely, and the degree based density of infected agents increases with the degree monotonously. The influence between information occurs only when different information originates in the same local neighborhood.

To examine the effects of an augmented reality game on upper extremity function and stress in stroke patients with upper extremity function difficulty. Twenty stroke patients were randomized into a control group of 10 subjects and an experimental group of 10 subjects. The control group received conventional occupational therapy, while the experimental group received the same conventional occupational therapy as for the control group but also played an augmented reality game for 30 minutes per session, three times a week over the course of 8 weeks. The subjects were evaluated using the manual function test (MFT) and CMS-10 (Compact Measuring System) for their upper extremity functions and using the stress scale for psychological factors before and after the intervention. MFT showed significant differences before and after the experiment in both groups (p<.05). However, the comparison between the groups showed no significant difference (p>.05). The range of motion of the elbow joint showed significant differences before and after the experiment in the experimental group only (p<.05). The intragroup and intergroup changes in stress showed significant differences before and after the experiment only in the experimental group (p<.05). The findings of this study revealed that augmented reality games are effective in the improvement of upper extremity function and reduction of stress in stroke patients.

Medical Image Fusion via Non-Subsampled Contourlet Transform

Due to the obvious advantages, the technology of medical imaging has been widely utilized in the medical areas. Commonly, the medical images of different imaging mechanism are able to guide the radiologist for the precise diagnosis of disease and for more effective interventional treatment procedures. Consequently, the fusion of different medical images of the same scene is necessary. This paper proposes a novel fusion technique for medical images based on non-subsampled contourlet transform (NSCT). Due to the better competence of image information capturing, NSCT is utilized to conduct the multi-scale and multi-directional decompositions of source images. In addition, the models of both region average energy and region coefficient deviation are used for the fusion for low-frequency sub-images and high-frequency ones, respectively. In comparison with several current typical fusion techniques, the proposed one has remarked superiorities in terms of both subjective and objective evaluations.
The Feasibility Analysis of Single Curved Screw Drill through the Mouth of the Well Casing

With the development of drilling technology and the needs of the larger Bulit-up, the screw drill with larger structure corner is used more widely in drilling field. Because the existence of single curved screw drill tool with larger structure corner, it have larger friction during the bend PDM in the process of internal casing, so we often need to use the wellhead adjuvant into the well. In order to understand the single bent screw drill into the state in the wellhead diameter of casing, and how the angle of screw structure impact the feasibility, This paper analysis the stress of the single curved screw drilling tools in the well, and the condition it can safely through the mouth of the well conditions, establish the single bend PDM in the calculation wellhead down model. and the finite element model is established combined with the specific parameters of a well which is in the western of SiChuan depression. Using ansys analysis a particular casing inside diameter, under wellhead vertical segment into different structure when the turn of the screw drilling tools down into characteristics and stress distribution characteristics, it is concluded how large of the structure corners and how depth that the bend PDM can rely on gravity well down into the inside diameter of 250.19 mm casing, concluded the relationship between reaction force, friction force, and maximum stress with the well depth and the change of structure corners from 1.5°to 2.75°,provide a basis for drilling site selection of the appropriate combinations of screw drill and how to regulate the radial force of the device while into the well.
