경량화 시트프레임의 단면형상에 따른 구조강도특성 평가

In the present study, FE analysis was performed for characterising structural strength of a seat frame w.r.t. varying sectional shapes as well as different materials of the seat back frame based on the FMVSS 207 regulation in order to obtain the design outline of a lightweight seat frane structure. Four types of materials, i.e.,SAPH440, Al7021, Al6082 and carbon/epoxy composites were applied to the seat back frame type beams and their bending behaviours were compared by three point bending FE analysis. Consequently, the lightweight structure of seat back frame with the equivalent strength characteristics of conventional frame was suggested.

In this study, the heat flow characteristics of wave heat exchanger was investigated by being applied to the white smoke reduction system. Through numerical analysis, the heat transfer and flow characteristics of the wave heat exchanger with the change of inlet condition of air-side and water-side were analyzed. To investigate the temperature, the absolute humidity, heat transfer rate, pressure drop and turbulence characteristics of the wave heat exchanger, the simulation analysis was conducted by using the commercial computational fluid dynamics software (Solidworks Flow Simulation) under uniform flow conditions. As the inflow rate of air decreased and the inflow temperature of water increased, the heat transfer coefficient of the wave heat exchanger decreased. When the experimental conditions of water-side were the same, the air outlet temperature and absolute humidity of the wave heat exchanger increased with increasing inflow rate of air. To reduce the white smoke, the air outlet temperature and absolute humidity of the wave heat exchanger must be reduced. Therefore, the lower the air velocity and the water inflow temperature into the wave heat exchanger, the more effective it is.

In this paper, we investigate the trend of injector waveform change due to failure of air flow sensor and intake air temperature sensor of CRDI engine. Changes in the injector opening time can be detected by the failure of the associated sensor, and the extension of the reaction time is closely related to fuel consumption. Thus, the proper maintenance time of the vehicle will affect the fuel economy and reduce the exhaust gas.



지구관측용 위성군 개발에 적합한 위성 구조체 설계 및 해석

In general, the design concepts of earth-observation satellites are established depending on the purposes of utilization such as commercial imagery business, public services, scientific research. Nowadays, The lightweight satellite structure is considered as an effective method for developing the earth-observation satellite. This paper introduces a design concept of the lightweight satellite structure for the constellation of earth-observation satellites. The modular design of the satellite structure is applied to save manpower and shorten the AIT process, in addition, a propulsion module is adopted to allow a hydrazine propulsion system to be installed on the satellite. The finite element method is used for the structural analysis of the satellite. The axial and lateral frequency requirements of satellite structure were verified by mode analysis. also, the margin of safety of satellite structure parts were satisfied with design requirements. As a result, the structural integrity of the suggested satellite structure is verified by mode analysis and static analysis.



태양광발전시스템 고정식과 고정가변식의 운전효율분석

This study introduces the comparison of efficiency levels of photovoltaics systems by analyzing various installation systems of photovoltaics systems and optimization techniques and proposes a system using techniques In this study, the generation time and power generation of two types of photovoltaic power generation system were measured and compared. Comparing the monthly power generation time with the power generation amount, it is found that there are many fixed variable photovoltaic power generation systems with a large average daily power generation time of 0.8h and an average power generation capacity of 2,871kw from November to December. Total Fixed Variable Total Daily Power Generation Time 2.4h The power generation amount is 23,184kw, showing a large amount of electric power generation.

In the present study, sled analysis was conducted under the condition of 20g (20 times of gravitational acceleration) and 48 km/h of initial velocity, suggested by WC-19 to investigate the injuries of traffic minorities of tie-down type fixing inside a vehicle during crash. Also, four new parameters, which were related to angles between belts and wheelchair and their levels were limited by WC-19, were proposed and orthogonal array was prepared with different levels of each parameter. In the meantime, four parameters were optimised by minimising head injury criteria and chest acceleration of passengers in each case of the orthogonal array.



전기방사법을 이용한 폴리우레탄/희토류 나노복합재의 제조 및 VOCs 저감 특성

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are a source of air pollution and are harmful to both human health and the environment. In this study, we fabricated polyurethane/rare earth (PU/RE) composite nanofibrous membranes via electrospinning with the aim of removing VOCs from air. The morphological structure of PU/RE nanofibrous mats were investigated using FE-SEM, EDX, and XRD experimental analyses. A certain amount of RE (up to 50 wt% compared to PU pellets) particles could be loaded on/into PU fibers. The PU nanofiber containing 50 wt% RE powder had the smallest fiber diameter of 356 nm; it also showed the highest VOCs absorption capacity compared with other composite membranes, having an absorption capacity about 3 times greater than pure PU nanofibers. In addition, all of the PU/RE nanofibrous membranes readily absorbed styrene the most, followed by xylene, toluene, benzene and chloroform. Therefore, the PU/RE nanofibrous membrane can play an important role in removing VOCs from the air, and its development prospects are impressive because they are emerging materials.



수평 PCB 채널내의 블록 형상변화에 따른 강제대류의 열전달특성에 관한 연구

The heat transfer characteristics of forced convection according to the geometric shapes with four rectangular blocks in a horizontal PCB channel was analyzed numerically using SST (Shear Stress Transport) turbulence model. As the boundary condition for CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis, the inlet temperature and air velocity were respectively 300 K and 3.84 m/s and the heat flux of the block surface was 358 W/㎡. The shape factors of block were width, height, spacing and channel entrance height. As the results, the heat transfer rate was decreased as the width ratio (x/h) was increased, while it was increased as the height ratio (h/x) is increased. Also as the block spacing ratio (s/x) was increased, the heat transfer effects was not significantly affected. And as the channel entrance height ratio (H/x) was increased, the heat transfer performance was decreased.



등이축 굽힘강도를 이용한 중고 자동차용 앞창유리의 안전성 평가

Recycling is required for all disused vehicle since 2015. The resource recycling act also recommends that most disused vehicle parts have to be reused except for steering and brake parts. Since vehicle windshields should provide protection for drivers and passengers, they need high structural strength and reliability. However, the vehicle windshields themselves contain many defects arising from glass production process. Because the vehicle windshields are exposed to harsh road conditions, they are expected to experience the formation and growth of surface cracks, which can result in sudden failure. In this study, equibiaxial flexural strength tests are performed on used vehicle windshields to examine whether or not the parts can endure high impact stress due to foreign flying objects. The following conclusions can be drawn: (1) The equibiaxial flexural strength of used vehicle windshields fits the two-parameter Weibull distribution. The equibiaxial flexural strength with a 99.9% failure probability is 69MPa for used vehicle windshields. (2) The equibiaxial flexural strength with six sigma quality level and maximum principal stress at vehicle windshield under high impact load are 8.05MPa and 23MPa respectively. Therefore, Structural safety factor of used vehicle windshields is 0.35 and so we should prohibit used vehicle windshields from keeping in reuse.



HHO Gas에 의한 가솔린 기관의 배기가스 특성에 관한 연구

Emissions of hazardous substances in automobiles are caused by combustion of internal combustion engines, friction of brake pads and tire wear. In this study, we propose a method to reduce the harmful substances emitted in internal combustion engine by using HHO gas. In order to reduce the exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine, HHO gas having excellent combustion characteristics was added to the combustion chamber. The HHO gas generator was installed in the intake line and the HHO gas was introduced into the combustion chamber with the mixed gas through the intake line. At this time, we compared and analyzed the performance of the engine performance on the presence and absence of HHO gas.



K-ε 난류모델이 배터리냉각 시스템 성능해석에 미치는 영향

This paper aims to reveal the effects of the K-ε turbulence model on the performance analysis of battery cooling system for electric vehicle. The maximum temperature, the difference of temperature, and temperature distributions on the battery module were compared with and without K-ε turbulence model under the different flow rate. It can be expected that the maximum temperature of K-ε turbulence model is corrected by using the average error rate without the result of K-ε turbulence model.

The key motivation of this study is for a style of the sensor arrangement to have an effect on the localization performance of mobile robots in case of using sonar sensors. In general robot platforms with sonar sensors, sonar sensors are supposed to be radially arranged on their rotational axis of mobile robots. However, relevant limits to several functions required for their autonomous navigation occur unexpectedly, because a sonar sensor generally has the negative nature of its wide beam width together with the specular reflection. We present a new strategy of the sonar sensor arrangement capable of enhancing the localization performance. Sonar sensors are intended to be arranged nonradially (twistedly expressed in this paper) on their rotational axis. The localization scheme called STARER: Sonar-Twisted ARrangement localizER is based on the extended Kalman filter (EKF) with occupancy grid maps. Experimental results demonstrate the validity and robustness of the proposed method for the localization of mobile robots.



DI 디젤엔진에서 연료성상 변화 및 EGR의 동시 적용 연구

In this study, the possibility of biodiesel fuel and oxygenated fuel(dimethoxy methane, DMM) was investigated as an alternative fuel for a naturally aspirated direct injection diesel engine. The smoke emission of blending fuel (diesel fuel 90vol-% + DMM 10vol-%) was reduced approximately 70% at 2500rpm, full load in comparison with the diesel fuel. Engine power and brake specific energy consumption showed no significant differences. But, NOx emission of biodiesel fuel and DMM blended fuel increased compared with commercial diesel fuel due to the oxygen component in the fuel. It was needed a NOx reduction counter plan that EGR method was used as a countermeasure for NOx reduction. It was found that simultaneous reduction of smoke and NOx emission was achieved with diesel fuel (95 vol-%) and DMM (5 vol- %) blended fuel and cooled EGR method (15%).



과열영역과 포화영역의 증기표에 대한 상태량의 모델링 연구

The state variables of saturated and superheated region in the steam table were simultaneously modeled using the neural networks. And the results were compared with quadratic spline interpolation and Lagrange interpolation. Two input data without distinguishing parameter were used in the neural networks. For comparison, quadratic spline interpolation method for superheated region and Lagrange interpolation method for saturated region were applied. The overall results revealed that the neural networks were greatly superior to quadratic interpolation method or Lagrange interpolation method.

The predictive control system using model-based predictive control is a very effective way to optimize the present inputs considering the states and future errors of the reference trajectory, but it has a drawback in that a control input matrix must be repeatedly calculated with a long calculation time at every sampling for minimizing future errors in a predictive interval. In this study, we applied the neural network simulating the predictive control method for the trajectory tracking control of the mobile robot to reduce complex control method and computation time which are the disadvantage of predictive control. In addition, the neural network showed excellent performance by the generalization even for a different reference trajectory. Therefore, The controller is designed by modeling the model-based predictive control gains for the reference trajectory using a neural networks. Through the computer simulation, the proposed control method showed better performance than the general predictive control method.



철로 인근 아파트에서의 고체전달음에 관한 실험적 연구

The source of wayside noise for the train are the aerodynamic noise, wheel/rail noise, and power unit noise. The major source of railway noise is the wheel/rail noise caused by the interaction between the wheels and rails. The Structure borne noise is mainly a low frequency problem. The train noise and vibration nearby the elevated railway make one specific issue. The microphone array method is used to search sound radiation characteristics of elevated structure to predict the noise propagation from an elevated railway. In this paper, structure-borne noise that is brought into inside of apartment when it passes by straight line track and rail lubricator section with test coach was measured in accordance of track characteristic of urban railway vehicle. It was compared with NC curve and examinate result.



탄성도로에 의한 건축물의 고체전파음 저감

In contemporary society, vibration and noise in the road nearby buildings have become social problems as vehicles operation has increased. Especially, in the case of the building used to art performance, available suitability of the building is tested by the indoor noise class. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is the measurement of the structure-borne noise of Seoul Art Center nearby Umyeonsan tunnel and analyzing the effects of countermeasure to it. To measure the effects of countermeasure, not only structure-borne noise is measured, but also the vibration is measured, before and after the construction of pavement using pad and porous asphalt. Consequently, the sound pressure level in art center 1st floor is reduced after mat pavement method, structure-borne noise that was high in 25Hz wide-band before pavement decreased regardless of experimental vehicle's velocity. Using porous asphalt pavement the noise was reduced about 3 dB(A).

The production amount can be increased by shortening the work process time, and the stability of the worker can be secured by the development of the transfer control system. The production time can be shortened and the introduction of production can be speeded up, and the production quantity is doubled. The length of the product is changed according to the product package, and the length of the product has reached 15m. Developed a feed straight line automatic adjustment feeder to reduce the defect rate to less than 4%.



기계구조용 탄소강 중공축의 마찰 용접후 열처리의 기계적 특성

In this study, SM45C-STKM13B hollow shaft of different thickness was joined by friction welding. After friction welding, we treated to specimen of annealing(post-weld heat treatment). The specimens were tested as-welded and post-weld heat treatment(PWHT). The mechanical properties including tensile test and vickers micro-hardness were examined. And then, the mechanical properties were compared for as-welded and PWHT in SM45C to STKM13B. Microstructure of joining part were examined in the weld interface and weld region and heat affected zone and base metal of weld parts.

Smart phones are currently the most popular electronic devices with high volume production activities driven by high demand and requirements for rapid turnaround time. The changes of displacement were analyzed according to a variable of the gate size and runner system. The radial type and gate with large size were shown that better results in displacement. While the design and production of lenses, the key component of a camera, still need to be improved, the current technology has run into its limit with regard to trends in size and weight reduction. In this study, an injection molding analysis was performed on plastic lenses that are widely employed for smart phone cameras. Specifically, the displacement of lenses at the time of injection molding was studied by varying the gate size and runner system.



천연가스 대체연료로서 바이오메탄 가스의 특성 연구

The biomethane fuel used in this study was produced from domestic biogas plants and used the same fuel currently used for CNG vehicles. The components were analyzed, and a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer (GC/MS) was used for component analysis. As a result of analyzing 4 peak values of them, phenethylamine, cyclotrisiloxane, cyclotetrasiloxane and cyclopentasiloxane were detected at the running times of 1.422min, 6.550min, 11.500min, and 14.833min. Most of them were composed of siloxane series, and some other components were present.
