열전달 해석에 의한 파워 증폭기 방열기의 형상 최적화

In order to find better performance of heat sink, in this research, different cases were analysed by changing number of slots and shape of fins. Round shape fins which have wide surface showed 24% better heat transfer rate than vertical fins. There were not big discrepancies between 1 slot and 2 slots fins. Consequently, for better performance of heat sink, developments for widening surface and better material for high heat transfer rate are needed.



Compensation Control Method Using Neural Network for Mechanical Deflection Error in SCARA Robot with Random Payload

This study proposes the compensation method for the mechanical deflection error of a SCARA robot. While most studies on the related subject have dealt with the development of a control algorithm for improvement of robot accuracy, this study presents the control method reflecting the mechanical deflection error which is predicted in advance. The deflection at the end of the gripper of SCARA robot is caused by the self-weights and payloads of Arm 1, Arm 2 and quill. If the deflection is constant even though robot’ posture and payload vary, there may not be a big problem on robot accuracy because repetitive accuracy, that is relative accuracy, is more important than absolute accuracy in robot. The deflection in the end of the gripper varies as robot’ posture and payload change. That’ why the moments ,  and  working on every joint of a robot vary with robot’ posture and payload size. This study suggests the compensation method which predicts the deflection in advance with the variations in robot’ posture and payload using neural network. To do this, I chose the posture of robot and the payloads at random, found the deflections by the FEM analysis, and then on the basis of this data, made compensation possible by predicting deflections in advance successively with the variations in robot’ posture and payload through neural network learning.



차량의 동력전달장치 모델 개발에 관한 연구

To estimate fuel consumption of a vehicle, a car can be tested on chassis dynamometer. In this case, test causes a lot of time and money. To predict the fuel efficiency of vehicles in the design stage or early stage of development, the development of computer simulation model is necessary. Using simulation to predict the fuel consumption, the driving model which consists of time-velocity profile and time-grade profile is necessary In this study, vehicle model is developed in MatLab/simulink to estimate real driving fuel consumption rate with time-velocity profile, time-shift gear profile and time-grade profile. Vehicle model consists of driver model, engine model, power train model, and so on. On-road vehicle tests to verify the vehicle model are carried out for analyzing the result of simulation and comparing with those of the experiments.

Flow control of flow field is essential to design efficient elements relating to fluid machineries. In this study, flow characteristics of rectangular prism with center gap through-flow at different aspect ratio was investigated to flow control. It was used a FLUENT 6.3 version to study flow field. It was found that the through-flow disturbs the development of vertical velocity component and decreased the vortex size and critical value of a rapid change in pressure coefficient distribution.

The purpose of this study is to investigate cutting characteristics and wear behavior in SCM440 steel with different cutting tools, CBN(Cubic Boron Nitride) and coated CBN. During the test coated CBN toolespecially with TiAlN showed better wear resistance behavior than orginal CBN tools. In the interruptedcutting condition, axial groove affected tool surface with impact force during the turning operation. Foradvantageous turning parameter in the interrupted process it is recommendable that lower speed. Also surface roughness showed better behavior in the coated CBN tool conditions than normal CBN conditions. Mainly this is caused by reduced friction between material and tool surface with coated layer.

In a bi-fuel engine using gasoline and LPG fuel, with the current ignition timing for gasoline being used, the optimum performance could not be taken in LPG fuel supply mode. The ignition timing in LPG fuel mode must be advanced much more than that of gasoline mode for the compensation of its higher ignition temperature. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the ignition spark timing conversion influences the engine performance of LPG/Gasoline Bi-Fuel engine. In order to investigate the engine performance during combustion, engine performance are sampled by data acquisition system, for example cylinder pressure, pressure rise rate and heat release rate, while change of the rpm(1500, 2000, 2500) and the ignition timing advance(5°, 10°, 15°, 20°). As the result, between 1500rpm, 2000rpm and 2500rpm, the cylinder pressure and pressure rise rate was increased when the spark ignition was advanced but pressure rise rate at 20° was smaller value.



유동장 해석을 통한 승용차 원심 회전차의 형상 설계

For the purpose of the enhancement of the air conditioner performance and fuel effciency, several cases of centrifugal impeller for passenger car air conditioner have been numerically analyzed by changing central angle of blades and length of outlet for shape optimization of the impeller. Commercial CFD program Fluent 6.3.26 has been used to compute velocity, temperature, pressure and turbulence intensity that can lead numerous results. The central angles of two blades and three cases of outlet length led 4~12% and 3.5~6.4% differences of velocity and flow rate, respectively. The velocity distribution near the blade surface was axisymmetric and had a maximum value of 22.19 m/s and velocity of the vertical direction of the impeller showed linear increase with horizontal direction. At case 3 of oultet length, there existed a a minimum pressure value of -133320 Pa.

Vibrations on the floor in a car are transmitted to the foot, hip, and back from the seat. Human body recognizes these vibrations, but the sensitivity for each vibration is different. To evaluate these vibrations, RMS(root mean square) of accelerations, VDV(vibration does value) are commonly used. The ride comfort evaluation is usually carried out by experiments of real cars which are expensive. The purpose of this paper is to briefly review the status of several ride vibration standards and criteria having relevance to construction machinery vehicles and to suggest recommendations for the effective use of such criteria in vehicle / component development.

The concrete mixer truck which is in charge of raw materials in civil engineering construction of the concrete loading, transport, placement, is used 6m3, 7m3 class in domestic(Korea). But in the case of the international construction fields are utilized 9m3 or above class because of the large-scale engineering and construction circumstances. In this paper, to develop a large 9m3 class mixer drum and the mixer drum in order to complement the technical and discharge that is responsible for stirring the blades by applying optimal design through implementation of the optimal shape of the concrete in the drum maintenance and placement of high-quality effects on increasing discharge such as advanced conventional drum mixer is to secure and differentiated technology. Large, heavy weight in development and uphold the drum mixer vehicle sub-frame is required to settle the design of the existing class mixer drum frames per 6m3 changed to account for changes in slope and length using CATIA V5 3D modeling work was performed.



순환 파라메트릭 모델링에 의한 엔드밀 시스템의 모드 분석

In this study, an analytical realization of end-milling system was introduced using recursive parametric modeling analysis. Also, the numerical mode analysis of end-milling system with different conditions was performed systematically. In this regard, a recursive least square modelling algorithm and the natural mode for real part and imaginary one was discussed. This recursive approach (RLSM) can be adopted for on-line end-milling identification. After experimental practice of the end-milling, the end-milling force was obtained and it was used for the calculation of FRF (Frequency response function) and mode analysis. Also the FRF was analysed for the prediction of a end-milling system using recursive algorithm.



심야전기보일러 대체용 공기열 히트펌프 성능평가

The night time electric cost is cheaper due to electric supply and demand policy in Korea from 1985. Currently about 900,000 customers are using night time electric heating boilers and this causes shift of peak demand time to night in winter and increase of deficit spending. To solve this problem, replacing night time electric heating boiler by air-source heat pump using night time electricity has been proposed. An air-source heat pump can provide efficient heating equipment especially in a warm climate. For estimating the night time electric heat pump COP(Coefficient of Performance), Korean Standard KS C 9306:2010 and European Standard EN-14511:2004 is available. SCOP(Seasonal COP) using European weather bin data is also calculated. SCOP is not available yet but European Committee for Standardization will establish a standard in the near future. The evaluation result show that the replacing night time electric heating boiler by heat pump can be possible.



불규칙 피로 하중을 받는 자동차의 컨트롤 암의 구조 해석

This study analyzes structural stress and fatigue on control arm of automobile under nonuniform load. Maximum equivalent stress at bolt part is shown with 419.1MPa and the corner is deformed with maximum displacement of 1.1628mm. Among 3 cases of nonuniform fatigue loads applying on control arm, ‘AE bracket history’with the severest change of load becomes most unstable but ‘ample history’becomes most stable. In case of ‘ample history’with the average stress of -105 MPa to 105 MPa and the amplitude stress of 0 MPa to 105MPa, the possibility of maximum damage becomes 3%. This stress state can be shown with 6 times more than the damage possibility of ‘AE bracket history’or ‘AE transmission’ Safety and durability on automobile can be effectively improved by applying the fatigue analysis result on control arm.




탄소나노히팅파이프를 이용한 온실 난방에너지 절감효과

This carbon nano heating system was consisted of power supply equipment, a carbon fiber and a stainless flexible hose. carbon nano heating system was manufactured by carbon fiber of a power capacity 30kw/h and light-oil hot air heater in control plot was the heating capacity 30,000kcal/h, As the result, Temperature difference due to carbon nano heating system and hot air heater in greenhouse showed that air temperature at experimental greenhouse, comparison greenhouse were 14.8℃, 13.4℃ respectively. It was found that carbon nano heating system and light-oil hot air heater heating cost were 1,095,740won, 2,683,628won. therefore as heating cost saving 60%. Yield of tomatoes cultured in greenhouse using carbon nano heating pipe was 4% inclease. Economic analysis comparison between the carbon nano heating pipe and the hot air heater in greenhouse were 41% respectively.

It is not easy to predict the shrinkage rate of a plastic injection mold in its design process. The shrinkage rate should be considered as one of the important performances to produce the reliable products. The shrinkage rate can be determined by using the CAE tools in the design produces. However, since the analysis can take minutes to hours, the high computational costs of performing the analysis limit their use in design optimization. Therefore this study was carried out to presume for mutual relation of analysis condition to get the optimum average shrinkage by regression analysis. The results shown that coefficient of determination of regression equation has a fine reliability over 87% and regression equation of average shrinkage is made by regression analysis



심야전기보일러 대체 Heat Pump의 경제성 분석

Electric night storage heater was introduced and disseminated for power grid balancing and efficient management of power generation facility. But fuel cost for heating has been increased rapidly while the cost of electricity increased slightly. This abnormal rate system caused peak load in winter at last. To solve this problem, application of an air source heat pump was suggested. In the study, the effect of replacing night heater by heat pump and the economics were analysed. In addition the expectation of prospect of heat pump penetration was simulated based on surveyed and investigated data. As a result, fund supporting as well as institutional backing was needed for effective propagation and return of investment.
