본 연구는 ChatGPT를 활용한 질문 기반 글쓰기 수업에서 학습자의 질문 유형 변화와 ChatGPT 피드백 활용 인식을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구 대상은 전문대학 1학년 학생 29명이었으며, 15주 수업 중 중간·기말고사 주차를 제외한 13주 동안 수집된 질문과 피드백 자료에 질적 내용분석 방법을 적용하였다. 분석 결과, 학습자의 질문은 초기 단계에는 단순 수정 요청이나 형식 확인 중심의 질문이 주로 나타났으나, 수업이 진행됨에 따라 논리·구조 점검, 내용 보완, 독자·맥락 고려, AI 통제 및 메타인지적 질문으로 확장되는 경향을 보였다. 또한 학습자가 가장 도움이 되었다고 인식한 ChatGPT 피드백의 특성은 명료성과 간결성 제고, 구체성 강조, 구조·구성에 대한 안내 순으로 나타났다. 이는 학습자가 ChatGPT를 단순한 문장 수정 도구로만 활용한 것이 아니라 글의 구조와 논리 전개를 점검하는 학습 지원 도구로 인식하고 있음을 보여준다. 이러한 결과는 생성형 AI가 글쓰기 과정에서 학습자의 사고 확장과 자기 점검을 지원하는 학습 지원 도구로 활용될 수 있음을 시사하며, 생성형 AI 기반 글쓰기 수업 설계에 함의를 제공한다

This study aimed to analyze changes in learners’ question types and their perceptions of ChatGPT feedback use in a question-based writing class using ChatGPT. The participants were 29 first-year students at a junior college, and qualitative content analysis was conducted on question and feedback data collected over 13 weeks, excluding the midterm and final examination weeks from a 15-week course. The findings showed that, in the early stage, learners’ questions were mainly focused on simple revision requests and format checking. As the course progressed, however, their questions expanded to include checking logic and structure, supplementing content, considering audience and context, and regulating AI through metacognitive questioning. In addition, the types of ChatGPT feedback perceived as most helpful were, in order, improving clarity and conciseness, emphasizing specificity, and providing guidance on structure and organization. These findings suggest that learners perceived ChatGPT not merely as a sentence-level editing tool, but as a learning support tool for examining the structure and logical development of their writing. The results further indicate that generative AI can support the expansion of learners’ thinking and self-monitoring in the writing process, offering implications for the design of generative AI-based writing instruction.
