본 연구는 어린이집에서 이루어지는 영아 디지털 교육의 효과적인 운영을 위해 교사와 부모의 인식과 요구를 분석하는 데 목적이 있 다. 이를 위해 어린이집에서 영아 디지털 교육을 경험한 교사 6명과 부모 6명을 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 어린이 집 영아 디지털 교육 수용에 대한 인식은 미래 역량 함양을 위한 선도적 시도, 사회적 분위기에 따른 불안한 접근, 선택이 아닌 불가피한 수용으로 범주화되었다. 또한 영아 디지털을 발달 수준에 비해 이르다고 인식되는 교육, 실행 가능성과 효과에 대한 불확실성, 기대를 넘어서는 역량 발현의 가능성으로 경험적 인식이 나타나 영아 디지털 교육에 대한 기대와 우려를 동시에 존재하는 복합적인 인식 구조 를 보여준다. 한편, 교사와 부모는 영아 디지털 교육이 확대될 것에 대해 공감하면서 지속적인 디지털 교육 운영을 위해 교사와 부모의 디지털 실행 역량 지원과 발달 수준에 적합한 디지털 환경과 협력 체계 지원을 요구하였다. 본 연구는 어린이집 영아 디지털 교육에 대 한 교사와 부모의 인식을 심층적으로 탐색함으로써 영아기 발달적 특징을 고려한 디지털 교육의 논의를 확장하고 향후 영아 디지털 교 육의 방향을 모색하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 데 의의가 있다.

This study aimed to analyze the perception and needs of teachers and parents in order to support the effective implementation of digital education for infants in early childhood education centers. In-depth interviews were conducted with six teachers and six parents who had experience with infant digital education in childcare centers. The findings revealed that teachers’ and parents’ perceptions of digital education for infants in childcare centers were categorized into three themes: proactive efforts to foster future competencies, anxiety-driven approaches influenced by social trends, and inevitable acceptance rather than voluntary adoption. Additionally, their empirical evaluations based on actual implementation were grouped into three categories: concerns about early exposure relative to developmental stages, uncertainties regarding practical feasibility and educational effectiveness, and the unexpected potential for competency development. These results highlight a coexistence of expectations and concerns. Despite expressing apprehension, both groups acknowledged the inevitable expansion of infant digital education. Consequently, they emphasized the need for systemic support to facilitate its implementation, alongside the creation of educational environments tailored to infants' developmental characteristics. This study is significant as it provides foundational data for establishing future directions for infant digital education by analyzing stakeholder perceptions within childcare contexts and highlighting essential developmental considerations.
