CFD를 이용한 서문시장 발화지점 분석

It is important to investigate cause and origin of fires to reduce damage and casualties. The difficulty of determining them has occurred because fires often destroy the key evidence. In this study, CFD-based Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) was used to reconstruct fire scene and presume origin of the Seomun market fire that occurred on November 30, 2016, in Daegu Metropolitan City. Comparing result of simulation with testimony of first witness and fire-fighters, it was estimated that the fire occurred outside of the market and sprinkler system worked. First-aid fire fighting was unsuccessful because of retardation of smoke detector activation. Fire-spreading into the building was delayed by the sprinkler system operation. And, it was found that tent covered on the stall accelerated fire spread.

The rise of buildings, the complexity, and the rapid increase in the consumption of energy have caused a surge in the demand for dangerous goods. Inevitably, the risk of fire has also increased so much that the conditions of firefighting have changed. The damage caused by fire has increased not only in physical damage but also in personal injury. The cause of the fire has been the death caused by the toxic gas generated during the fire. The development of modern society has been increasing in various types of insulation materials due to the diversification of social structure, the development of building technology, and the diversification of architectural use. Therefore, it is required to investigate the characteristics combustion hazard that can minimize the damage of peopoe and property from fire by analyzing and analyzing all combustion risk characteristics in different use environments and installation conditions for insulation materials frequently used in buildings.

In the present study, we will look into the types and features of a lithium battery, and the treatment and the storage of the lithium battery that has a possibility of explosion by it’s inherence or temperature around it. We will also research about the fire investigation by lithium battery explosion and the prevention, by the case studies of the explosion accident, and the experiments about the explosiveness and dangerousness of the lithium battery.

Electric arc fault produces substantial radiation energy of high temperature up to 20,000k which is four times of that of sun’s surface, intense light, and blast pressure in an extremely short time. It also releases high temperature of molten metal droplets. These high radiant energy and droplets can cause fire. Reducing arc fault energy means not only to protect human in workplace but also to reduce electric fire. There are two measures to lessen electric arc fault energy. The one is reducing the bolted fault current and the other is removing the faulted part of circuit as soon as possible. The purpose of this paper is to suggest that how we can reduce fire caused by electric arc fault. IEEE std 1584 deals electric arc fault in aspect of arc-flash hazard distance and flash-protection boundary to protect human. This paper is applied to utilize IEEE std 1584 in reducing fire of electric arc fault incident energy of fabric cotton.

Agricultural mechanization has created conditions for high productivity in spite of declining rural labor force due to industrialization. These farming systems are funded by the government, but they are limited to a certain extent, so farmers also invest a considerable amount of capital to purchase agricultural machinery. Especially in the case of a tractor, the economic loss is expected to be a heavy burden for the farmers if the use period is more than 10 years and a fire occurs and disappears. This study focuses on the actual use of the control board of the tractor, Specific phenomena depending on the type of combustion observed at the fire scene, and Experiments were conducted to reproduce the judgment of the ignition area to prove the possibility of ignition. Experiments were conducted to reproduce the judgment of the ignition region, thereby proving the possibility of ignition, I would like to present sufficient evidence on the cause of fire cause of old tractor.
