The setting of this study is to heat the mattress of beds in love motels that treat room-renting customers by attaching a fan heater and to keep the mattress warm like an ‘ondolbang’, a room with Korean floor heating system. When fan heaters are attached on the existing mattresses, heat will be created through electric heating element to forcefully circulate the internal air and keep the external temperature of mattress at 38˚C, causing the fire from fan heater of mattress. Considering the characteristics of room-renting, when the up and down motional shock of 120㎏ weight by two adults are consistently applied, the ignition factor and source of heat from operation of fan heater as well as the combustibles of mattress should be found through case of fire and reappearance experiments and alternatives and solutions will be sought and taken into measure.

This literature includes the analysis of the fire evidences and the result datum of reproduction experiments for provability of the fire which had occurred in the apartment in Yeongdo-gu, Busan, 24th Mar, 2016, and the informations, referenced with the fire investigation, such as combustion patterns etc., collected during the experiment. Thus it is briefly suggested the method of the fire prevention for the children etc., to be protected from the fire incident of toaster dependent on the result of the study.

Fire simulation is one of many methods that can express the situation of scene by visualization technology, and in the future, it is expected to be a larger section of fire investigation field regarding PL (Product Liability) law that is currently in force and an analysis of fire scene such as arsons of which the number sharply increases in the society. Recently, as cases of fire investigation were analyzed, it was intended to graft the fire simulation field that should be treated together with fire investigation field in the future onto a part called an analysis of fire behavior and situation of fire scene. As specified in User Guide Disclaimer of FDS, all resultant values should be evaluated by reliable expert. So, with regard to use in the fire investigation field, if a system which verifies the reliability of resultant values of fire simulation is prepared by appointing an outside expert to evaluation committee in respective fire investigation section of fire stations or fire & disaster headquarters or carrying out real-scale fire test at the same time, the introduction of fire simulation into fire investigation field in Korea can be accelerated, and fire stations can utilized this fire investigation technique as well.

Since 2007, clarifying who is responsible for cause of fire has been expanded from dispute of ownership and maintenance of built-in system which is chosen for convenience for the residence rather than efficiency. Our research team deduct measure of fire prevention and mechanism of outbreak of fire through study on example of fire rerated to built-in system.

Secondary batteries are conveniently used due to the shortage of electric energy and limited spaces. The development and spread of their small and large capacity technologies are being activated. Secondary batteries, however, have the potential dangers of explosions and fires due to a lack of devices for protection from overcurrent, overheating, etc. Also, there is little research on secondary batteries' electrical and thermal impacts, making it very difficult to survey and analyze the causes of relevant fires. This study, using the most-spread MF (maintenance free) batteries, conducted charging, discharging, and short-circuit experiments, analyzed the battery-leaked gases, and experimented the vehicle fires. Thus, this study sought to present the technique of identification battery fires.

The smaller dust gets, the surface area per unit mass increases, resulting in the growth of the contact area with air and subsequent acceleration of oxidation speed. It helps to increase the possibility of formation and maintenance of dust clouds and to rise risks of dust explosion by reducing ignition energy. Loxoprofen acid dust used as a material for anti-inflammatory drugs and painkillers by pharmaceutical companies contains little moisture, and is a highly explosive material since more than 75% of the dust has an average size of 10 ㎛ or smaller as fine organic dust and has very small MIE (Minimum Ignition Energy) with 1 to 3 mj on average compared to other dust materials. An experiment has been conducted to compare loxoprofen acid dust with other explosive dust materials to prove explosion risks of the loxoprofen acid dust, using a control case. In this study, fundamental solution and improvement measures against explosion risks discovered have spread to relevant companies to get rid of explosion risk factors in advance through improvement of facilities. It has been confirmed that this thesis study can be used as basic data to reinforce safety standards for prevention of fire ignited by loxoprofen acid dust in the future.
