Considering the impact of various chemicals on nature when secondary batteries account for a significant amount of product cost and waste battery emissions, waste battery recycling technology is positively evaluated for economic benefits such as cost reduction and environmental cost. However, various risk factors are inherent in the battery recycling process, and the resulting fire is also increasing, and there are not many cases and discussion on fire risk is insufficient because safety issues are still in the early stages of research. Against this backdrop, the paper focused on the fire risk that may be exposed during the waste battery recycling process. First of all, fire characteristics are analyzed through the fire case, and based on this, an experimental study was conducted on waste cathode processing materials. In addition, we will discuss management and prevention measures to minimize the risk of fire in the process based on the research results.

The smoke reading method informs the current combustion direction and combustion situation in firefighting tactics, and is used as an indicator to predict abnormal fire phenomena. This study applied this as an ignition point identification technique to fire investigation. As a result of applying it at an actual fire site to use the initial smoke as an ignition point reading technique, it was possible to read the ignition point using the smoke reading method in buildings such as sandwich panel buildings and greenhouses. However, it was not applied to steel frame and reinforced concrete structures. Therefore, as a basic experiment, we observed the smoke color, speed, density, etc. according to combustibles, and as a result of this experiment in a compartment assuming combustible inner walls and non-combustible walls, we obtained the same conclusion as the results at the fire site. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to provide a basis for determining the point of ignition by reading smoke according to the building structure.

As civilization develops and the quality of life gradually increases, modern society now values development centered on eco-friendly and energy conservation, not just the development of civilization. accordingly, existing incandescent lamp are being replaced by LED lighting that high efficiency and lifespan. the government is also operating a policy to convert fluorescent lamp into LED lighting by 27 year. for the above reasons, the use of LED lighting is gradually increasing, but most consumers are not aware of the risk that can occur in LED lighting. according to recent statistics, the number of lighting and sign fires has been decreased every year, but the number of LED lighting fires has been continued to increase every year. to use LED lighting, SMPS that convert AC into DC is essential. therefore, in this study, we would like to analyze the ignition(fire) risk of LED lighting according to SMPS wiring status. furthermore, we would like to analyze the problems and suggest improvement measures.

As modern society in the form of a network is established, numerous fourth industrial technologies are being introduced, and the patterns of fire are also diversifying. Amid numerous civil and criminal disputes to determine where the fire is responsible, the expertise and responsibility of fire investigators are becoming more important than ever, and professional education is needed for this. However, the current theoretical curriculum is difficult to expect to improve the professional skills of investigators who lack experience to fire investigation techniques to improve their professional skills due to restrictions on educational organization and participation opportunities. It is necessary to introduce a new learning type to make up for the problems of the existing curriculum. In this study, we developed an edutainment content SSF(Scan the Scene of a Fire) that allows anyone to participate in the fire inspection process without time and space restrictions. By conducting a preliminary survey of about 20 people with fire investigation qualifications, It confirmed the possibility of educational commercialization. Through this, it is believed that the practical fire investigation techniques of practitioners can be improved.
