Halogen lamps have the several advantages and widely used in interior lighting and vehicle industry. But the accumulated dust in lamp and stabilizer causes the ignition and finally developed the fire, which has the structural defects. As the experiment goes on, the temperature of lamp backside becomes the maximum, regardless of current. 50W halogen lamp reaches the 250℃, which is enough to start the ignition. Several experiments show that there exists the danger of fire and the structural design to protect the temperature rising is reinforced.

With the rapid development of science, the manufacture, storage, and transportation of various dangerous substances (unknown substances) increased. These materials have risks such as explosive and flammable depending on the conditions. As a study to investigate this risk, a fire broke out on December 30, 2020, at about 240kg of Water reactive chemical (aluminum phosphide fusion material, anti-grain corrosion storage material) stored outside the ship's deck. In the early stages of the fire, he tried to choke with foam waterproofing, but he collected and studied data related to Water reactive chemical and naturally ignited substances due to the fire experience of spontaneous ignition of the fumigant covered under the foam. Through this study, it is intended to be used as a scientific fire investigation data to identify measures to prevent and extinguish fires that may occur in the process of transporting and handling fumigants, fire mechanisms, and their risks.

세계 57개국 화재통계 자료에 대한 연구

Shows 1993-2019 total fire statistics from 27-57 countries, collectively representing the Earth's 0.9-3.8 billion inhabitants, depending on the year of reporting. In these countries, 2.5-4.5 million fires and 17-62 thousand fire deaths were reported to fire services, depending on the year. Average call, fire and civilian fire death rates in 2015-2019 relative to population are presented in World Fire Statistics World Fire Statistics show that in some countries where the fire service provides medical aid, medical aid responses tend to dominate total emergency responses for the country. Eight countries show medical assistance calls as more than half of all requests – Mongolia, Singapore, Jordan, France, Slovenia, Japan, Irland and the USA. Some of these eight countries were at the top of call rates relative to the population. In contrast – Slovakia shows medical aid calls as less than 1 % of total calls. It is likely that in the six countries where medical aid calls are more than zero but less than half of all calls, the medical aid service is offered by only a fraction of the countries fire service.

In addition to industrialization, high-income crops with high added value are drawing attention in the agricultural sector through facility cultivation. In particular, due to climate change caused by global warming, the number of plant cultivation farms such as vinyl greenhouses is on the rise. Among them, Sungju-gun is the largest melon producing area in the country, and many farms use vinyl greenhouses to produce melons. In addition to this situation, various causes of fires occur in vinyl greenhouse facilities, and high combustibility of materials causes a lot of damage. In this study, we will examine the fire risk of electrical facilities, which account for a large proportion of the various fire causes occurring in vinyl greenhouse facilities, and in particular, we will set up four types of physical damage to the wires due to arbitrary construction of the user and the fire risk caused by insulation damage, to identify them through over-current pass experiments and current-pass experiments using a load equipment, and come up with measures to improve them through sharing with local governments.

This study investigated the method of qualitative analysis of combustion promoting substances in the fire site. First, the exact usage and measurement method of the gas measurement detection tube was prepared, and the measurement method of unknown gas was verified by creating a logical chart through the experiment. In addition, the simplest and most efficient method from the collection, transport, and analysis of evidence for unknown gas at the fire site was proposed. As a result, research was conducted that can be usefully used as data for identification and appraisal of combustion promoting substances.

Even in modern societies where electricity and gas are common, demand for oil stoves is steadily maintained and increasing, but due to the nature of oil stoves where users directly handle and heat flammable goods, the possibility of fire due to carelessness exists. There has been a recent fire by injecting gasoline into the oil stove. As a result, the fire investigator conducted a research to establish a fire cause investigation method related to the oil stove at the site by reproducing the possibility of ignition when using another fuel.

With the recent occurrence of large-scale fires in traditional markets, the study was conducted to use them as basic data to prevent fire accidents in traditional markets that can develop into large fires for a moment. Although the traditional market is being transformed into a new form due to the recent market modernization project, the structure of a large number of stores in a narrow space remains. If a fire occurs due to this structure, it is easy to connect to a large fire. In this regard, an experiment was conducted to check the temperature change of each wire standard through wire overcurrent and whether short circuit breakers and arc breakers were cut off through outlet tracking. Through the experimental results and fire cases, the prevention of fire in traditional markets and system improvement were studied.
