The purpose of this study is to know some changes of resolution and image if we remove scattered ray using lead plate when doing lumbar lateral projection. Using 3 DR system(2 FD types, 1 CCD type) equipments and 2 film system equipments, we gain the image whether the phantom of abdomen equivalent sticking resolution chart has lead plate or not, whether we do collimation or not. Also, we use ion chamber, measure radiation exposure rate and change to entrance surface dose from it. we gain that images in the greatest condition of taking in clinic. 5 people in this group decoded resolution with our eyes, measured thickness of images and compared them from each equiments. Resolution has difference to size of collimation in DR FD type. Also there is no difference the original image with the new image which we abbreviated mAs. In DR CCD type, resolution didn't have difference whether lead plate is or not and whether we do collimation or not. In film type, existing or nonexisting of lead plate didn't influence on resolution. Lead plate makes the quality of image higher due to reducing scattered ray, it doesn't influence on resolution.

This study, which is proceeded in the department of nuclear medicine, aims at preventing unnecessary radiation exposure to the patients and the people near the patients by understanding and presenting the realities about the isolating period for the high dose radioiodine patients after total thyroidectomy in the 7 general hospitals in metropolitan area. Theoretically, the physical half-life of the high dose radioiodine is 8 days. Radioiodine lower than 100 mCi usually is eliminated all in 2 days 1 night considering the biological half-life and the amount of excreting radioiodine The hospitalization standard of the patients treated with high-dose radioiodine therapy has been established according to the fact above. Investigation of the data and questionnaire from the hospital have proven that some hospitals didn't even measure the acceptable dose because of the faith in the vague data. Besides, the some of those inevitably let the readmitting patients exceeding the acceptable dose be in the general ward, not in the isolation ward, because the number of the isolation rooms is relatively smaller than the patients. Thus, we want to contribute that patients understand the realities and the hospitals consider the relevant problem actively so that the problem will be settled by this journal.

This test is for checking investigation about quality control of general X-ray system in clinic and hospital. We compared general X-ray system of clinic and hospital which are selected freely in the metropolitan area using PMX-III and carried out quality control. Carried out Kilovoltage test, mR/mAs output test, Light filed/Beam alignment test, Half value layer test. Most of test result are appeared that failure rates of clinic is higher than hospital one. Therefore, we should lower failure rates through regular quality control and make environment which can get high quality image.

The purpose of this study is to compare the measurement result of radiation dose by using standard thoracic phantom and ionization chamber to advice proposal in the shooting condition of chest PA projection at hospitals recently. And to understand the change between radiation dose and resolution in different conditions. The period this study was from August 2010 to September 2010 and the subjects of the study was 3 general hospitals, 4 personal hospitals and 1 laboratory at the college. Finally we study with 6 DR, 1 CR, and 4 F/S equipments. Most hospitals met advice proposal, but some of the hospitals exceed advice dose from the result of our study. We can lower radiation dose about 25% when kVp is lowered about 20% in DR equipment. And we can lower radiation dose about 50% when mAs is lowered about 35%. The image quality was similar to the original in the study. Most hospitals which exceed advice dose were personal hospitals. The reason why it happened is that radiation dose for chest PA projection at personal hospitals is higher than general hospitals and the personal hospitals´ equipments are older than general hospitals´ equipments. We guess that patients´ radiation dose of chest PA projection can be lowered from the result.

Server and Pi view management, external image and internal image Copy Import business in PACS room is through the medical assistance. Import and Copy, and in particular the number of cases is increasing the number of import is a fast growing trend. Although the increase in workload With limited human resources to increase business efficiency so Remote system is using PACS room. This remote system will want to evaluate the effectiveness of using the service. Amount of data each 437.5 MB, Copy and Import time is to compare and evaluate sees by use 1 PC. 4 PC, 4 PC+ remote system. The use of the remote system before the January 2010 to June daily average waiting time and the use of the remote system after the January 2011 to June compared to a daily average patient waiting time, evaluate. Using the remote system in January 2011 to June Find out the average remote utilization. The biggest difference on the four copy and eight continued, Were performed two times faster by use 4 PC+ remote system than use 4 PC and four times faster than use 1 PC. Before using the remote system, the daily average wait time is 14.5 minutes after using the daily average 10.2 minutes, waiting time 30% of the existing waiting time was 4.3 minutes, to reduce. Using the remote system in January 2011 to June the average daily number of cases is 107 number and The number of remote and on average 35 cases with 32% in a day remote usage. The use of the remote system to Import, CD Copy and greatly increase the efficiency of their time could be. Hours due to efficiency could also reduce customer waiting time. As a result, the manpower and the use of a remote system over time to maximize efficiency in business hours, work was evaluated by.

This study intends to investigate patients’ exact exposure doses by comparatively measuring ESD (Entrance Surface Dose) with the DAP meter, which excludes scattered rays, and ESD with the Xi multifunction meter, which includes scattered rays, by posture changes for Esophagography test and UGI test. The materialwere examined through Sonialvision-SafireⅡ SPEC overtube system. ESD was measured by using the DAP meter, and as a tool to measure ESD including scattered rays on the plane of incidence of human phantom, the Xi multifunction meter was used. The average fluoroscopic time of Esophagography test was 4.192 minutes and the average number of images was 47.7, while the average fluoroscopic time of UGI test was 6.881 minutes and the average number of images was 37.8. The ratios of the incident dose of DAP meter and the ESD of Xi meter were calculated bydividing the fluoroscopic time and the number of images by each posture change. As for Esophagography test, the dose increased by 21.6~55.5% in the fluoroscopic test and by 4.8~24.7% in the spot test. In the front spot test, however, the does increased by as little as 5.3%. As for UGI test, the dose increased by 21.1~49.5% in the fluoroscopic test and by 10.1~34.9% in the spot test. It is expected that measuring doses in consideration of scattered rays by posture changes will be an important index in evaluating and managing patients’ exact exposure doses for each test above. Furthermore, it is judged that this sort of study is inevitable and desirable to reduce patients’ exposure doses after all.

To assess the prevalence of various radiological reduction methods for childhood intussusception in training hospitals by means of a nationwide phone survey, and to demonstrate recent trends in this area by comparing the findings with those obtained in a survey conducted. BaTiO3 system was prepared by using fabrication of classical conditioning ceramics. Polycrystalline and surface structure characteristics of the specimens were measured by X-ray diffraction, SEM(Scanning Electron Microscopy) and EDAX (Energy Dispersive Spectrometer), respectively.
