Exploring ways of facilitating the manifestation of creativity through contexts in Korea classes Lim, Song-gyu The present study makes a distinction between the components of creativity and the requisites for the manifestation of creativity, and, as such, interprets them as representing two different entities. The components of creativity refer to categorized capacities that contribute to generating creativity, around which education to promote creativity can be implemented. The requisites for the manifestation of creativity refer to those conditions and environmental elements that provide favorable grounds for potential creativity to be realized or manifested, on which the so-called education for the manifestation of creativity centers. The study focuses on how to help students manifest their own creativity through contexts in Korean classes, exploring ways in which contexts facilitate their creative potential. Because I view diversifying activities in Korean classes, per se, as reflecting Korean linguistic creativity, it is of particular importance that lessons designed to promote creativity should be able to engender learning environments in which students are encouraged to engage in a wide variety of activities in different forms and contexts. In this sense, it appears that contexts have great potential to diversify learning environments so that students can experience various language learning activities in differing contexts, through which they become (more) able to manifest and demonstrate their potential creativity.

The comparison of the Korean Postwar novels with Chinese ones in the New Period after the Cultural Revolution - Centering on the characters’ reactions to their living situations Dong Bae Lee․Juhua Li This paper analyses the 8 novel texts written in the periods after the Korean War in South Korea and after the Cultural Revolution in China by using the parallel research method on themes, comparing the Korean novels with Chinese ones. This study investigates the similarities and differences in terms of the characters’ reaction to their living situation and the main characteristics are as follows: Firstly, both Chinese and South Korean novels depict the hard lives of the characters and they criticise their tragic life experiences. Secondly, under the influence of the War and the Revolution, and the existing irrational realities, the novels exhibit the characters who try to overcome these life struggles under self-consciousness. Thirdly, Chinese novels portray socialism which directly deny anti-feudalism, anti-fascism and anti-capitalism which appeared in Sainbang, Yet Korean novels represent indirectly post ideological perspectives which is based on humanity, pro-Americanism, and its critical attitude, though they are not really far from anti-communism. Fourthly, the Chinese novels blame the assailants, and display the dictatorship of Sainbang, while the assailants are not described clearly in Korean novels. These differences seem to be outcomes of the two countries literatures’ different methods of healing the wounds caused by the tragic history from different time periods. Although the ways of healing seem different, both novels have understood the situations and responded to them.

Therefore the beauty and the art was the power source for him to became worldwide writer, transcend the limits of colonized country writer. He expressed strong desire for the universalism as his desire for the world wide literature. The universalism from Lee Hyo-seok’s literature was appeared the form as recognize each other’s homogeneity and approve their difference through commonness of aesthetic sensitivity and love for the beauty. He thirst for forever through the art and in this case the art is another name of the beauty. Suchlike the end of oriented point of the art, the European or the Harbin was there for symbol of western, meanwhile also exists Hanbok - Korean traditional dresses - or charms of women like beauties of Chosen could found out. Unique point of view of Lee Hyo-seok was these kind of beauties are not intent to exclude or elimination each other sides. Even in the colonial regime he tried to fertilize the culture expressed by a form such as seeking western culture and text, or eternal homesickness. He dreamed of esthetic restructure reality in those way, and that became a single important keyword of his works in the end of the Japanese imperial colonial era. ‘Careerman’ and ‘Businesswoman’ of Gyeongseong: Reality of mystic love and marriage - Consideration on Work of Bekgu of Yeom Sang Seob Kim, Seong-yeon Bekgu is located at the center of Yeom Sang Seob’s works in 1930’s. Socialist organization appears fragmented and dim, and disappears completely in works after ‘Bekgu’. Along with this, the existence of Bourgeois sympathizer also weakens at “Bekgu”. Youngsik, the reader of the “Capital” and the petit bourgeois was not taken into the sponsor or supporter of socialist organization, but just used as a fraud tour for their fundraising. As well, the sympathizer who weakened at Bekgu never appeared at the works after that. Like this, Bekgu serves as the turning point work of Yeom Sang Seob in creation tendency in 30’s from which he threw away heavy materials and turned to the personal and daily problems. In particular, different from previous works of Yeom Sang Seob which focused on the life of capitalist and their surrounding, ‘Bekgu’ took issue with lives of Jeoseon people and intellectuals who became marginalized and lower class through ‘careerman’ and ‘businesswoman’, the lower middle class of Gyeongseong in 30’s. In addition, by describing the views of marriage and love of these stratum, it devoted to exposing the desires of Joseon salaried employees who wanted to be assigned to ‘petty bourgeois’. This work is the first novel of Yeom Sang Sob that intensively describes the Joseon petty intellectual rather than the capitalist or ‘white collar’, and is important in that it examines the social position and conflict of young Joseon people of the times by putting up the Joseon “businesswoman’ in the front who was not included as ‘petty bourgeois’ different from Japan.

Therefore, a construction of systematic theories regarding adaptation processes is required in order to lead the way to a more desirable transformation in literary awareness. In particular, the distortion and transformation processes of the female characters are mainly due to the realities and circumstances of the respective periods and also the patriarchal perception still dominates those characters. Furthermore, there have been many cases of character distortion and damage to the work due to commercial purposes. Reconsideration of criticism in the 1950s - Focusing on Chul-Bum Lee’s early criticism - Kim, Hyun-ju Reality of before and after, was a society that was stagnant in that it is a space in which order all existing is collapse. Literary also visible efforts to establish a new philosophy of literature in its own way reality was battered around, but the logic of them to win legitimacy and was wanting. Taking advantage of the political ideology, and advocates consistent conservative nationalism, not writers and young was by Western literary various theories, and from the perspective of efforts, and or willing to testify era from them it was a very you should take a look at trace. Such recognition is, the study of writers who in the process is separated into break machine in the 1950s, to become hard and more and more, to plan advancement of reality at the time, the ethnic literature further, tried to stick to the original route of its own way it is a reality to have been marginalized further. These studies, is restored little by little recently, the reason for the individual and their problem to be solved still trapped in the flow to reveal the private continuity of ethnic literature theory was in full swing in the 1970s this it is allowed to remain as left. It is a situation that has not received a fair evaluation still Chul-Bum Lee also also corresponding to the conflict and write real time to close about ‘30 on stage later without resting phase of once in one of them.
