Case Study on Healing through Writing Poetry Oh, Young-yi․Song, Myung-hee The possibilities of mental illness for people are skyrocketing compare to those people who lived in the past. So there are lots of ways are on the process to protect spiritual conditions and one of them is Literature Therapy. It is likely to help and treat emotional conditions to release suppressed unconscious through writing. The major roles of therapists are to integrate the imbalanced mental states and help to coping mental problems through writing poetry. Here I like to look up for the cases which heal mental problems and to discuss about the effectiveness of writing poetry. The subject of the experiment is 9 people from student of K university. They were signed for class and were agreed at healing through writing poetry among all 26 students. The experiments are expected for conquest the trauma of the participants through writing poetry having introspective view their inner side which are suppressed and avoided to face by themselves, after writing they communicate with the other participants about their experiences.
