A Study on Welding Characteristics of Laser Beam Coatings by Fe-Based Bulk Metallic Glass

In this study, the mechanical properties and microstructure of a surface hardenings coating layers formed by laser cladding using bulk metallic glass (BMG) wire as a filler, have been evaluated. The fabricated powder shape as a filler metal was observed as sphericalness, which is suitable for laser welding. X-ray diffraction analysis observed that the powder was fully amorphous. The mechanical properties were measured by tensile strength tests and micro-hardness tests, whereas the microstructure and grain structure were analyzed by using a field emission scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope. Surface coating was carried out by laser cladding and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) processes. The tensile strengths of the laser-clad and GTAW coatings were determined to be 2.0 and 1.7 GPa, respectively. The tensile strength and micro-hardness of the laser-clad coating were about 15% and 14.3% higher, respectively, than those of the GTAW coating. Additionally, the laser-clad coating showed finer grains and fewer dendrites due to reduced dendrite distribution. The BMG layer was composed of a mixture of α-Fe and amorphous phases.

The Study of the Double Color Matching of the Elderly Assistive Products Based on the Kansei Engineering

The purpose of this research is to study the cognitive preference of the old people in the color matching of assistive products. First of all, the elderly assistive products color matching was analyzed. Based on this point, the double color samples color matching software was designed, and there are 858 valid two Color harmony pictures were obtained. Secondly, there were 50 pairs of Kansei words were obtained through investigation and research. Using Multidimensional scaling method and Clustering analysis method, there were 5 pairs of representative Kansei words were extracted: "Emotional-rational", "Traditional-modern", "Natural-technological", "Massive-leggiere”, "Rigid-soft". According to above, were aimed to give score to 20 subjects(Contains the elderly group and young group)through the E-prime software, using the Likert scale to grade 858 valid two Color harmony pictures. The perceptual evaluation value of 5 pairs of representative Kansei words with 858 valid two Color harmony pictures were obtained. Finally, the different cognitive preference of double color matching for assistive products of the old people was obtained through the statistical analysis. The results can not only provide reasonable color recommendations, but also shorten the production cycle.

With a purpose to guarantee the quality safety of raw milk during the transport process, based on the internet of things, this paper made the raw milk transport process as the research objective. As the key technologies like GPS, GPRS and RFID were applied and STM32F103 Singlechip was adopted to fulfill the hardware design of system. Real-time collection and storage of the information on transport vehicle location and milk box temperature as well as real-time monitoring on raw milk transport process could be conducted to achieve the visualization of the whole process from livestock farm/milk station to processing factory, thus the transparency of raw milk in transportation could be ensured, which provided guarantees for raw milk quality and safety and was of great significance for the healthy development of the dairy products- business in our country.

Under the background of complex system of enterprise innovation, based on the self-organization theory and collaborative theory, it is thought that the enterprise technology innovation system belongs to the grey system, for this reason, build the grey relational analysis model of the enterprise technology innovation system capability evaluation, and use weight coefficient method to optimize. Finally, use the optimization model to evaluate the technological innovative ability of seven enterprises; the results show that the built enterprise technology innovation system ability evaluation model is effective, and it can offer the innovation ability value of different enterprises accurately, providing the useful decision-making reference for the enterprise technology innovation system and the optimization of technological innovation cooperative system.

Decoupling Control of Penicillin Fermentation Processes Based on MLS-SVM Inversion

Specific to typical multi-variable, strong-coupling and nonlinear penicillin fermentation process, by combination of an inverse system method and a support vector machine theory, a nonlinear robust decoupling control method based on MLS-SVM inversion is proposed. Firstly, a dynamic system model is developed based on material balance relation of fed-batch fermentation process, and existence of inverse system is analyzed. Secondly, an inverse model has been developed offline by use of fitting capacity of MLS-SVM; online correction was made by use of differential evolution (DE) algorithm on the basis of deviation information. Finally, to connect the inverse model and original system in serial into a compound pseudo-linear system, and based on characteristics of pseudo-linear system, introduce internal model controller for closed-loop control of the system. Simulation result shows that such control method can realize dynamic decoupling control of penicillin fermentation process; the system boasts very strong parameter robustness and good resistance against interference

Phase-Only Optimization of Asymmetric Multiple Beams Reflectarray with Single Feed Using the Invasive Weed Optimization

Phase-only optimization of asymmetric multiple beams reflectarray with single feed is investigated in this paper. The conventional design approaches are first reviewed. Secondly, for design of asymmetric multiple beams reflectarray with arbitrary gain levels and beam directions, a general method based on invasive weed optimization is proposed. Then, practical considerations for applying the proposed method to design multiple beams reflectarray are talked over. For illustrating the effectiveness of the proposed method, several multiple beams design cases with different design requirements are optimized through this method, and the optimized results are analyzed through simulation approach based on array theory. The simulation results show that the optimized cases demonstrate the satisfactory multiple beams performance.

To optimize the number of decomposition layers in wavelet threshold denoising for ultrasonic signals, we propose a self-adaptive algorithm of determining the number of decomposition layers based on singular spectrum analysis and wavelet entropy. First the noise-containing signals are decomposed by discrete wavelet transform. The slope of the singular value spectrum for each layer is estimated. Then the wavelet entropy over the signal subinterval is calculated for each layer. Finally the optimal number of decomposition layer is determined by combining the entropy ratio of detail coefficients to original signal and the slope of the singular value spectrum. The performance of the algorithm is evaluated using signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and the relative error of the peak value (REPV). Experiment shows that the algorithm can self-adaptively determine the optimal number of decomposition layers and filter out the noise contained in the ultrasonic signals. It not only increases the SNR, but also preserves valuable components of the original signal.

Backup roll technology plays an important role in hot strip mill shape control. Varying contact length backup roll (VCR) technology in hot strip mill can increase transverse stiffness of loaded gap, heighten control effect of roll bending, and improve distribution of contact force between backup roll and work roll. However it appears to lack coordination with high-order curve work roll. A new objective function of new generation varying contact length backup roll (VCR plus) design curve is established with considering high-order work roll contour, and simulation is carried out to verify the effectiveness of VCR plus by a two dimensional variable thickness finite element method. The result shows that distribution of contact force between backup roll and work roll is more even in VCR plus technology, and which can extend the useful life of backup roll.

GPS has its weaknesses in reality. This paper introduces vision measurement for the GPS system. Through feature detection, stereo matching, feature tracking and motion estimation to 3D drawings, GPS is able to get an accurate location and an estimation of direction with less error. Experiment has proved that vision measurement can be applied into navigation in the steep and rugged terrain. The improved GPS system is more accurate and can be put into practice in vaster areas.
