노령화 현상이 뚜렷해지면서 치매에 대한 사회적 관심이 그 어느 때보다 고조되고 있다. 더욱 이 치매는 질병의 특성상 지속적인 관찰을 요하는 만성질병이기 때문에 실제로 치매로 인해서 고통받는 인구는 환자와 가족을 포함하여 200만 명을 넘을 것으로 추정된다.

가족은 사회를 구성하는 기본적인 조직체이다. 하지만 최근들어 이혼율의 증가로 인해 가족이 해체되어 가고 있다. 이혼의 원인은 여러 가지 있으나 그 중 하나가 배우자의 정신장애로 인한 학대도 포함되어 있다. 정신장애인의 결혼생활에 대한 연구는 활발하게 진행되고 있으나 혼인 중 발생하는 정신장애에 대한 연구는 활발하게 진행되지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본고에서는 이혼판례를 통해 혼인 중 발생하는 배우자의 정신장애가 결혼생활에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 위하여 1991년부터 1997년경까지 대법원의 판례 중 4갱의 사례를 사용하였다. 마지막을 사례를 바탕으로 혼인 중 발생하는 배우자의 정신장애를 경감시킬 수 있는 사회사업적 개입방안을 고찰하고자 하였다.

Family is a basic organization which compose society. However, family is sectioning from increase of divorce rate recently. Cause of divorce is various kinds but one of them abuse by life partner’s mental disorder include. Researches about mental disorder person’s married life is proceeded vigorously but research about mental disorder that happen between marriage is not proceeded vigorously. Therefore, life partner’s mental disorder who is original and happens between marriage through divorce precedent examined about effect that get in married life. I used 4 examples among precedent of the Supreme Court from 1991 to 1997 for this study.Finally, with case, the study is to the discuss the social work intervention direction to reduce life partner’s mental disorder who happen between marriage.

For many years, most of the alcoholic studies approached a point of view “disease model”. So, many studies had been focused on alcoholic oneself. As a result of reviewing the alcoholic research of social work field in South Korea, recent social work studies on alcoholics being explored alcoholic’s spouse, children of alcoholics or alcoholic families. On the other hand, some empirical research began on children of alcoholics who well adjusted to their circumstances in spite of adversity. It seems to be turn into strengthen perspective from pathology perspective on alcoholics. The purpose of the present study was to proposed intervention strategy for improving the alcoholic families’ family function from ecosystem perspective. For this, present study adapted the frame of analysis of social policy and analysed alcoholic policy’s goals and objectives, types of benefits and services, eligibility rules, service-delivery systems, financing. Specially, present study focused on community care for improving the alcoholic families’ family function.

This study aims to find the results of couple therapy for husband, who is recovering from alcohol addiction. The medical doctor diagnosed the husband’s disease as a cirrhosis of the liver 10 years ago. He had been abstaining from alcohol for 3 years, and took classes relating to alcohol addiction for 7 months from medical doctor. He did not have sexual intercourse with his wife for 3 years and masturbated watching pornography in the computer. Wife had always been caring her husband not to drink, and she had codepended with her husband in the result.The researcher as a therapist had treated this couple for 27 sessions from February, 2001 to January, 2002 with individual and couple therapies. The researchers used grounded theory approach to analyze the results of the counseling and executed process analysis. The researchers found the 5 stages relating to couple therapy for a husband abstaining alcohol by the process analysis: a stage of problem confirmation, a stage of treatment and change need, a stage of effort for change, a stage of freedom from codependence, a stage of recovery. On the other hand, the researchers applied Miles and Huberman’s(1994) Time-Ordered Meta Matrix to show the effects of the treatment relating to three common problems(alcoholsexual problems, communication problem, and codependence problem).

This study estimates the effects of economic hardship on depressive symptoms, and examines self-efficacy as a moderator of the effect of economic hardship on depressive symptoms. The results reveal direct effect of economic hardship on depressive symptoms. In addition, self-efficacy had moderation effects in the relation between economic hardship and depressive symptoms. Implications for practice are discussed.
