W. B. 예이츠는 중국문학에 지속적 영향을 끼친 20세기 초 서양 작가 중의 하나로서 지금 중국에서 문학연구의 중심적 대상이 되고 있다. 중국의 예이츠연구는 3단계로 구분된다. 5.4혁명(1919)부터 1940년대, 1980년대, 1990년대 이후(90년대 이후는 항시 상징주의가 주요 주제이다). 푸 두롱의 저서 『W. B. 예이츠시의 상징주의 미학』(2006)은 이 분야의 이정표이다. 체계적으로 시인의 상징주의 논의를 분류하고, 그의 작품에서 상징주의의 근원을 찾고 상징주의의 미학적 체계를 통찰력 있게 분석함으로써, 이 저서는 예이츠의 상징주의에 대한 중국학계의 연구를 요약한다. 이 저서는 세계 예이츠 연구에 커다란 자극이 되고 있다.

W. B. Yeats is one of the major foreign writers of the early twentieth century, who has lasting influence upon Chinese literature and is now a central object in Chinese literary research. China’s Yeats scholarship can be roughly divided into three phases―the May 4th Movement period through the 1940s; the 1980s; the period since the 1990s, through which symbolism is always a major topic. Pu Durong’s monograph W. B. Yeats’s Aesthetics of Symbols in Poetry (2006) forms a milestone in this field. Systematically sorting out the poet’s symbolist statements and offering a constructive exploration for the sources of symbolism and an inspiring analysis of the aesthetic mechanism of symbolism in his work, this monograph not only presents a summary of Chinese scholarship on Yeats’s symbolism but also proves to be a big step forward in the world Yeats scholarship.

This study is a corpus-based analysis of animal images and symbolism in John Steinbeck’s masterpiece The Grapes of Wrath. The previous studies indicate that the physical features and crawling process of land turtle and the Joad family present a strong corresponding relationship so that the land turtle bears rich symbolic connotations. The aim of this study is to put forward a more comprehensive animal image by using AntConc corpus analyzing tool. A turtle, rabbits, dogs, and a snake are prominent animal images in The Grapes of Wrath and they carry rich symbolic meanings. Using the method of combining quantitative and qualitative analysis, the researchers mainly apply the tools of the keyword list and concordance in AntConc to analyze the language features and plot development of the novel. The corpus analysis has brought a new perspective to the analysis of literary texts even though this study only explores such analysis at vocabulary, sentence and plot levels. According to the analysis of the corpus, the researchers have found that the description of animal imagery has made an important contribution to the plot development and the overall depiction of the characters. There is still a room for further corpus studies of literary texts.

Though Ernest Hemingway rejects symbolism itself, the basis of his work is symbolic technique. So in order to comprehend his works. it is necessary to analyze his symbolism. This thesis aims to study biblical factors in the works of Hemingway and to show the relations between the biblical factors and subjects of his novels. A biographer noted that Hemingway’s main characters showed his view of life, universe, and christian mind. The continuation of this essay deals with analyzation of the male hero so that all of Hemingway’s works can be seen generalization of their catholicism. Most of the characters who are obsessed with gambling, drinking and sex have lived in Europe. In my opinion, christian symbolism was developed into the sinful human nature of Jake barnes and Santiago. From reflecting on them, we can see a great deal of changes which had occurred from young Hemingway. Strictly speaking, it is possible to destroy humans but humans can’t be defeated. The final end of our physical aspect can only be death. Although the spirit leaves us, the christian legacy of characters remains. Therefore, it leaves an image of sainthood and heroism that remains with us for a long time. In conclusion, this thesis reveals that christian symbolism is soaked into Hemingway’s works.

21세기는 사회, 문화, 예술 등의 영역들이 복합적으로 융합되어가는 현상을 보이고 있으며, 하나의 트렌드가 개별적으로 나타나기 보다는 다양한 트렌드가 상호 영향을 주고 받으며 제 3의 트렌드를 형성한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현대패션에 나타난 다양한 트렌드들이 접목되는 현상의 하나로 알렉산더 왕의 스포티즘 패션에 나타난 블랙 패션이 어떤 양상으로 나타났는지 살펴보았다. 먼저 연구내용으로는 스포티즘 패션의 특성을 알아보고, 블랙패션의 역사적 변천과정을 통해 표현된 상징성을 분석하였다. 이후 스포티즘 패션을 추구하는 디자이너 알렉산더 왕의 컬렉션을 통해 그의 스포티즘 패션에 나타난 블랙패션의 디자인 특성과 내재된 상징성에 대해 연구하였다. 스포티즘은 기능성, 단순성, 젊음지향성, 미래지향성 그리고 관능성의 5가지 특성을 가지고 있으며 블랙패션은 역사적 변천에 따라 비애성, 위엄성, 금욕성, 현대성, 저항성, 관능성, 단순성의 특성을 가진다. 알렉산더 왕의 스포티즘 패션에 나타난 블랙의 상징성은 블랙컬러의 역사성에 내재된 상징성과 융합하면서 혁신성, 관능성, 단순성, 저항성의 상징적 특성을 나타내고 있었다. 스포츠웨어의 기능적인 측면을 모던하게 표현하고자하는 혁신성, 인간의 성적 특징을 부각시키는 방향으로 표현되는 관능성, 블랙 패션의 반항성과 스포티즘의 젊음 지향성이 융합된 저항성, 그리고 스포티즘의 단순성과 블랙 패션이 가지는 컬러의 특성이 어우러져 나타나는 단순성으로 나타난다. 이는 삶의 긍정적인 면을 추구하는 스포티즘의 정의와 블랙 패션의 역사적 변천 과정에서 보여진 문화 특성이 반영된 결과로 알렉산더 왕의 컬렉션에서 보여지는 스포티즘 패션과 블랙 패션이 융합되어 새로운 스타일을 통해 트렌드간의 경계가 모호해 지고 있는 현대 패션의 표현양식을 잘 표현하는 것이라 할 수 있다.

The 21st century is witnessing a phenomenon where the fields of society, culture, arts, etc. are complexly integrated, and various trends are influencing each other and forming a third trend rather than trends appearing individually. Hence, this study examined in what aspect black fashion takes place in Sportism, as a phenomenon where various trends come together. Especially, the expression characteristics and symbolism of black fashion in Sportism were researched through the collection of Alexander Wang, who pursued the sophistication of Sportism. It can be said that Sportism has 5 characteristics including functionality, simplicity, youth-orientation, future-orientation, and sensuality, and that black fashion, while having gone through historical changes, shows the characteristics of sorrowness, dignity, repressiveness, modernness, resistibility, sensuality, and simplicity. These esthetic characteristics of black fashion in Sportism, by converging with Alexander’s Sportism, showed characteristics of the symbolisms of innovation, sensuality, resistibility, and simplicity centered on the collection of Alexander Wang claiming Sportism as design characteristics. Innovation to express the functional aspects of sportswear, as for sensuality, which is expressed in a way highlighting the sexual characteristics of humans, or silhouettes emphasizing the curves of the human body. Resistibility is a characteristic that is opposite to the definition of Sportism which pursues only the positive aspects in life, but as a result of the reflection of the characteristics of the subculture of the young shown in the historical changes, it is shown to best reflect street Sportism. Finally, simplicity of sportism and black fashion has shown characteristics which are integrated with each other.

본 연구는 북청사자놀음 사자춤의 상징성을 분석하고, 그 창작적 계승 가능성을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법은 문헌연구를 통해 사자춤의 역사적 맥락과 상징적 의미를 고찰하였으며, 그 결과 북청사자놀음 사자 춤의 상징성은 첫째, 과장성과 연극성을 기반으로 현대적 창작 가능성을 내포하고 있다. 둘째, 제의성과 벽사진 경의 기능을 유지하면서 풍자와 해학을 결합해 한국적 변용을 이루었다. 셋째, 공동체와 관객이 어우러지는 놀 이적 성격을 통해 사회적 연대와 통합을 실현하였다. 창작적 계승 가능성은 첫째, 사자춤은 불교·유교·민간신앙 이 융합된 문화적 상징으로 한국인의 정체성을 계승한다. 둘째, 지역별 전승 속에서 고유화와 초종교적 성격을 형성하며 공동체 상생을 강화한다. 셋째, 전통의 해학성과 놀이성을 현대적으로 재해석하여 정서적 치유와 사 회적 연대를 촉진한다. 넷째, 연희성과 극적 요소를 바탕으로 세계 공연예술 무대에서 창작 자산화될 잠재력을 지닌다. 다섯째, 교육 프로그램을 통한 체험적 전승으로 공동체 가치와 예술적 해학을 확산할 수 있다.

This study analyzes the symbolism of the Bukcheong Lion Dance Drama and explores its creative succession potential in modern society. Through literature review and field analysis, it examines the historical meanings, transmission patterns, and artistic features of the dance. Findings show that it preserves ritual and exorcistic functions while incorporating satire and humor, promotes social unity through playfulness, and reveals theatrical creativity for modern reinterpretation. The study identifies five aspects of creative succession: cultural symbolism rooted in Korean identity, regional and interreligious inclusivity, emotional healing through humor, potential as a global performance art, and educational value for experiential transmission. The Bukcheong Lion Dance stands as a living intangible heritage, connecting tradition and innovation in contemporary culture.

『법화경』의 「견보탑품」에는 땅속에서 솟아나와 허공에 머물러 있는 보탑이 나온다. 본고는 그 寶 塔의 상징성과 의미를 고찰하는 것이다. 내용을 요약하자면, 첫째 사상적인 차원에서는 『바가바드기 타』와 같은 인도사상의 영향을 받은 것으로 보지만 그것을 불교적인 시각에서 재해석하고 있다는 점 이다. 둘째 대지를 뚫고 보탑이 솟아나왔다는 점에서 많은 사상가들은 大地를 心地, 無明, 삼계육도의 범속 함으로 해석하고자 했다. 그리고 보탑이 허공에 머물러 있다는 점에 대해서는 법신불이 시공을 초월해 존재하는 것으로 해석하거나 대상의식을 탈각한 상태를 의미하는 것으로 이해했다. 셋째 중국을 대표하는 법화사상가인 천태, 길장, 규기는 중국 전통의 체용론을 응용하여 방편과 진실 이란 점에서 이해하고자 하는 경향을 보여주고 있다. 특히 불타가 구원의 주체이며, 그 구원이 시공을 초월해 존재해야 한다는 점에서 접근하고 있지만 세밀한 입장에서는 약간의 차이를 보이는 것도 사실 이다. 넷째 사리탑과 달리 보탑 속에 다보여래가 앉아 있으며, 나아가 석가불과 한 자리에 앉게 된다는 이불 병좌는 초기불교에서 중시한 ‘법의 상속’과 교단의 정통성 계승이란 점에서 이해할 수 있다. 나아가 과 거불과 현재불의 통일 내지 통합을 통해 기존교단을 포용하고, 새로운 불교적 가치를 지향하는 법화불 교의 사상적 경향을 잘 표현하고 있는 것으로 말할 수 있다. 적어도 새로운 불교운동인 법화불교가 지 향하는 방향을 불타론과 결부시켜 잘 보여주고 있는 것이다. 전체적으로 「견보탑품」의 내용은 인도의 전통신화 내지 사상, 초기불교의 교단 상황, 그리고 법화운 동가들의 종교적 의지가 융합되어 있다. 그런 만큼 신화적이고 상징적인 표현이 농후해 이해하기 어려 운 점도 있지만 인도의 문화, 사상적 배경과 불교교단의 전개라는 점을 감안하면 보탑이 지니는 다양 한 상징성을 읽을 수 있는 것이다. 그것도 법화불교가 지향하는 방향을 분명하게 알려주고 있다.

There is the story on a stupa in the sky which is aroused from a place on the earth in the chapter apparition of a stupa in the Lotus sutra. This paper’ aim is the consideration on the symbolic meaning of the stupa. To sum up, the first, in the point of thought, the story on the stupa may be able to be seen as the effect of Indian thought, but it is reinterpreted in buddhist view point. The thinking that Dharmakaya (the body of truth, or Buddha) is in the stupa, not sarira(Sacred relics of the Buddha), which is resulted from the effect of absolute monism of Brahmanism made the object for the salvation and devotion of Buddhism something transcendental and monistic. The second, many thinkers have desired to interpretate the earth as the mind-ground, the ignorance(avidya), and the mediocrity of the world in the reason that the stupa was aroused from the earth. And, from the fact that the stupa is in the sky, they understood dharmakaya-buddha is transcendental to time and space, and free from objective consciousness. The way to read the text as above made the symbolic meaning more important than a reading literally, and have opened the possibility of individual different interpretations The third, three representative thinkers on the Lotus sutra in China as Tientai, Jizang, and Kuiji showed the tendency of reading the story on the stupa in the point of the skilful device(upaya) and the truth through traditional theory of substance and function in China. They are similar to the point that Buddha is a main agent of the salvation, but there are some differences in a detailed analysis. In such detailed point, Tientai interprets the stupa in the sky as the dharmakaya in the state of the factual reality(dharmata), but Jizang emphasizes, on the ground of logical analysis, that dharmakaya is the true nature of the Middle Way. The thinkers above interpret the voice from the stupa also in the point of the skilful device(upaya) and the truth, but we can also interpret it as a inner voice by buddhist strong faith and practice will, as it were, a voice of faith and a great aspiration in Mahaprajnaparamita Shastra. The fourth, we can understand that the sitting of the Buddha of abundant treasure(Prabhutaratna) in the stupa diffrently with sarira stupa in which there is sarira, buddha's bone. and the sitting together of Sakyamuni and Prabhutaratna shows the transmission of Dharma and the succession of the legitimacy of buddhist order which are putted emphasis on in early buddhism. And we can say that the unity of the past-buddha with the present-buddha symbolizes the ideological tendency of the Lotus sutra philosophy that desired to accept old buddhist order, and aim new buddhist value. The chapter apparition of a stupa involves the traditional myths and thoughts in India, the circumstance of early buddhist order, and a religious faith of the Lotus sutra thought activists. So although we would be not able to understand the story, because of symbolic and mythical expressions of it. but we can read the symbolism of the stupa in it in the point of the background of Indian culture and thoughts, and the development of buddhist order.

현대에 접어들면서 블랙컬러는 이미지 면에서 모던한, 세련된 패션 컬러로 부각되면서 문화의 여러 장르에서 매우 애호되고 있어, 현대 패션을 이해하기 위해 블랙패션에 대한 심도 있는 고찰은 필수적이 되었다. 이에 본 연구는 블랙패션의 특성과 이미지에 대해 문헌을 통해 사적으로 고찰한 후, 현대 블랙 패션에 나타난 긍정적 이미지 중에서 여섯 가지 중심 상징성을 추출하였다. 긍정적 이미지를 바탕으로 여성복 디자인 개발을 시도 하고 이를 상품으로 제작함으로써, 디자인 이론과 실제의 통합 사례를 제시하는데 연구 목적을 두었다. 연구방법으로는 문헌연구, 실증적 연구, 작품제작의 방법을 사용하였다. 먼저 블랙패션이 복식사에 나타난 이미지에 대해 사적으로 고찰한 후, 현대 블랙 패션에 나타난 긍정적 이미지들 중에서 파워풀한 여성성, 부의 상징성, 화려성, 전문성, 세련성, 대중성의 주요한 여섯 가지 중심 상징성으로 범주화 하였다. 실증적 연구로 현대 블랙 패션에 나타난 상징성을 2005-2007년 해외컬렉션 발표작품을 중심으로 작품사진을 고찰하였다. 그리고 범주화된 중심 상징성들을 디자인요소와 소재를 활용하여 구체화 하였다. 각 상징성마다 3가지 아이템으로 구성된 총 6착장, 18가지 아이템이 디자인 개발, 상품화 하였다. 파워풀한 여성성은, 활동적이면서도 사회적으로 지위나 자존감, 당당함 등을 개성 있게 잘 표현 할 수 있는 가죽재킷의 디테일을 이용하여 여전사의 이미지를 표현하는데 중점을 두었다. 부의 상징성은, 숭고미의 수직적이고 확대되어 보이는 면적의 강조의 디테일을 사용하여 무게감이 느껴지는 여성의 부와 권위와 품위를 표현하는데 디자인의 중점을 두었다. 화려성은 블랙소재의 원단의 요철감이 빛의 방향에 따라 화려하게 나타내는데 중점을 두었다. 전문성은 흑백의 대비와 남성복 테일러드 재킷의 디테일로 이용하여 전문성을 표현하는데 중점을 두었다. 세련성은 최소한의 디테일을 사용하여 심플하고 세련되어 보이는데 디자인에 중점을 두었다. 대중성은 편안하고 실용적이며 무난한 이미지를 잘 표현할 수 있는 트렌치코트의 디테일을 이용하여 기본적 아이템을 표현하는데 중점을 두어 상품을 개발하였다. 앞으로도 블랙패션이 많은 디자이너에게 창작되고 상품으로 개발되어 블랙패션의 시장의 활성화에 기여하고자 한다.

As we enter the modern age, black has come to be highlighted as a fashion color that has a sophisticated image in terms of color image. As the color black is widely used in various genres of modern culture, a thorough inquiry into this color has become indispensable to the understanding of modern fashion. This study inquires into the characteristics and image of the color black, and extracted six main themes from positive images in modern black fashion. Thus, the purpose of this study is to present examples of integration between design theory and practice. The methodology of this study is inquiry into the definition of the color black, its characteristics, and image in terms of color tone through literature review. Research on vicissitudes within black fashion throughout fashion history covers from antiquity to the 20th century. The positive images black fashion has in women's fashion of late should be noted, and six significant image types have been extracted; powerful femininity, symbolization of affluence, glamour, professionalism, sophistication, and popularity. Three items for each of these six themes were designed and manufactured. 최근 이미지 구축을 위한 지역 정책들은 상징성으로 요약되는 컨셉지역만들기 전략으로 이어지고 있다. 이러한 전략들은 지역의 상징성과 함께 소프트인프라스트럭처(soft infrastructure)의 향상 방안과 연계하려는 시도로 나타나고 그 가운데 하나가 품격도시이다. 본 연구는 지역의 상징성과 연계된 소프트인프라스트럭처라는 큰 맥락에서의 품격도시가 어떤 형태로 지역정책에 반영될 수 있는가를 고찰하기 위하여 지역에 적용 가능한 여러 요소들 가운데 하나인 문화 측면의 탐색에 주안점을 두었으며, 최근 품격도시로서의 이미지를 표방하고 새로운 도시이미지를 구축하려는 울산광역시를 사례로 품격도시의 지표 기준의 하나로서 문화시설이 적정 공급 수준인가를 분석한다. 품격도시로서의 문화시설 수요와 공급 간의 균형성 문제에 있어서, 문화지수에 대한 상대값을 측정하면 각 도시별로 문화시설 공급이 나머지 도시와 상대 비교할 수 있다. 이를 바탕으로 적정수준에 도달하기 위하여 어떤 문화시설이 필요한지, 그리고 문화시설 전체에 대한 공급이 더 필요한지 도출되며 향후 품격도시를 지향하면서 다른 도시와의 경쟁부문에서 우위를 점할 수 있는 분야가 무엇인지에 대해서도 시사점을 얻을 수 있다.

Recent urban policy orientations and city image-making strategies are led to the regional concept-building of symbilization. One of the improvement strategies of soft-infrastructure with local symbolization is city amenities. This study examines Ulsan city amenities inquiring how they are represented in local policies in terms of the cultural perspectives, that is, the balance of the demand & supply of cultural facilities as an index of city amenities. The study finds out the relative short of their supply side.

본 연구는 김현승 시 세계에 나타난 숭고의 의미를 고찰한다. 그의 시는 신앙, 고독, 슬픔, 그리고 자연과 사물의 상징을 통해 인간과 세계, 신과의 관계를 형이상학적으로 조명하며, 이를 숭고라는 초월적 경지로 승화시키고 있다. 본 연구에서는 김현승의 시 세계를 크게 두 가지로 나 누어 살펴보았다. 첫째, 고독을 통한 숭고의 지향에서는 가을의 기도 , 눈물 , 슬픔 등의 시를 중심으로 인간 내면의 정화와 초월적 가치에 대한 탐구를 분석하였다. 이들 작품에서 고독은 단순한 고립의 감정을 넘어 자기 성찰과 궁극적 가치를 발견하는 과정으로 나타난다. 둘째, 소 명의식과 인고의 시학에서는 샘물 , 플라타너스 , 내일 등의 시를 통해 시인이 삶과 시 쓰기를 통해 실천한 숭고한 자세를 조명하였다. 이 과정에서 자연과 사물이 인간의 내면과 결합하며 초월적 가치를 형상화 하는 김현승 시의 독창성이 드러난다. 김현승의 시 세계는 단순히 기독교 적 신앙에 국한되지 않고, 보편적 인간성과 삶의 본질적 과제를 탐구하 며, 이를 통해 현대시에서 독보적인 위치를 차지한다. 그의 시는 슬픔과 고통을 숭고로 승화시키며, 고독 속에서도 초월적 가치를 발견하려는 의 지를 보여준다. 본 연구는 김현승의 시를 통해 숭고의 본질과 시적 구현 방식을 탐구하며, 이를 통해 그의 작품이 한국 현대시사에서 가지는 의의 를 재조명하고자 한다.

This study examines the sublime in the poetic world of Kim Hyunseung. His poetry reflects a metaphysical investigation of human relationships with the self, nature, and the divine, elevating these explorations to the realm of the sublime. The study focuses on two main aspects of Kim’s poetry. First, the pursuit of the sublime through solitude is analyzed through works such as “Prayer of Autumn,” “Tears,” and “Sorrow.” These poems depict solitude not as mere isolation but as a transformative process of self-reflection and the discovery of ultimate values. Second, the poetic mission and ascetic devotion are explored through poems like “The Spring,” “The Platanus,” and “Tomorrow.” These works highlight Kim’s integration of life and poetry, showcasing his commitment to transcendental values by symbolically merging human existence with the natural world. Kim’s poetry transcends its Christian foundation, addressing universal themes of humanity and the fundamental challenges of life. It sublimates pain and sorrow into a sublime vision, revealing a profound will to discover transcendental values even amidst solitude. This study illuminates the essence of the sublime and its poetic embodiment in Kim Hyun-seung’s works, reevaluating his significance within the landscape of modern Korean poetry.

예이츠의 작품에서 반복적으로 나타나는 모티프인 변신(Metamorphosis) 은 현실의 가혹함으로부터 위안을 제공한다. 아일랜드 유산에 뿌리를 두고 전설과 민 간 전승에 둘러싸여 자란 예이츠는 변신을 상징적 탈출구로 활용하여, ｢흰 새｣, ｢레다 와 백조｣, ｢비잔티움으로의 향해｣, ｢메이브 여왕의 노년｣, 환영의 바다 등의 작품을 통하여 덧없는 삶 속에서 영원한 사랑의 주제를 탐구한다. 본 논문은 예이츠의 변신 사용의 예를 분석하고, 존재의 덧없는 본질에 맞서는 그의 의도와 그 의미를 밝히는 것을 목표로 한다.

Metamorphosis, a recurring motif in Yeats’s work, offers solace from reality’s harshness. Rooted in his Irish heritage and growing up surrounded by legend and folklore, Yeats employs metamorphosis as a symbolic escape, exploring themes of eternal love amidst life’s transience in his works such as “The White Birds,” “Leda and the Swan,” “Sailing to Byzantium,” “The Old Age of Queen Maeve,” and The Shadowy Waters. This paper aims to explore Yeats’s use of metamorphosis, unraveling his intent and its significance in confronting the ephemeral nature of existence.

Yeats cultivated a profound comprehension of Plato and Plotinus through diligent study and intellectual exchange with the philosophers in his milieu. Recognizing the pervasive influence of Plotinus’s philosophical system, Neoplatonism offers valuable insights into the central themes explored throughout his oeuvre. While Yeats’s engagement with mysticism and esotericism has received attention, the Neoplatonic themes in Yeats’s poetry remain relatively unexplored. This study uncovers these themes especially interwoven in “The Tower.” Yeats uses rich symbolism and allegory in “The Tower,” making it an ideal canvas for Neoplatonic exploration. I delve into themes of soul ascent, transcending material limitations, and the interplay of the earthly and ethereal, identifying instances mirroring Neoplatonic philosophy. The Tower symbolizes the soul’s pursuit of higher truths and the connection between the physical and spiritual worlds, key to Neoplatonism.

2020년 이후 중국 시장의 주요 특징 중 하나는 자국 문화에 관한 관심과 애국소비이다. 중국의 젊은 세대는 90년대 급격한 경제 성장 이후 높아진 중국의 국제적 정치․경제적 위상과 미중무역분쟁 등의 글로벌 질서를 이유로 애국 소비를 늘려가고 있다. 중국의 정치시스템 역시 국가적 위상을 목적으로 역사와 문화상품에 대한 공급을 늘려가고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 최근 소비가 증가하고 있는 중국 박물관시 장과 박물관의 문화상품에 대한 이해를 넓히기 위한 것이다. 구체적으로는 중국 소비자가 인식하는 중국의 박물관 상품 속성에 대한 인식이 박물관 태도와 구전 의도에 미치는 영향을 조사한다. 가설 검증 결과, 박물관 문화상품의 구매 의사결정 속성 중에서 중국 소비자들 은 상징성에 가장 큰 영향을 받고, 심미성이나 오락성에는 영향을 받지만, 가격 속성에는 영향을 받지 않았다. 박물관은 가격보다는 문화상 품의 상징성을 강화하는 방식으로 박물관에 대한 태도를 향상할 수 있다. 예를 들면 박물관이 보유한 유물이나 지역, 발굴 과정, 역사적 인물 등에 관한 스토리를 개발하고, 그것을 반영한 상품디자인과 포장 등을 적용하면, 가격-수요탄력성을 낮추면서도 더 우호적인 소비자반 응을 유도할 수 있을 것이다.

One of the key characteristics of the Chinese market after 2020 is the interest in domestic culture and patriotic consumption. The political system in China has also been increasing the supply of historical and cultural products to enhance the country's national image. This study investigates the influence of Chinese consumers' perceptions of the attributes of museum cultural products on their attitudes and word-of-mouth intentions towards museums. The results indicate that among the attributes of museum cultural products, Chinese consumers are primarily influenced by symbolism, while they are influenced to a lesser extent by aesthetics or entertainment value, but price attributes have no significant influence. Museums can enhance attitudes towards them by strengthening the symbolism of cultural products rather than focusing on price. For example, developing stories related to artifacts, regions, excavation processes, and historical figures possessed by museums, and incorporating them into product designs and packaging can induce more favorable consumer responses while reducing price elasticity of demand.

A good knowledge of all kinds of legends, folk tales, and mythologies and extensive reading of Platonism, Neo-Platonism, Druidism, and many other philosophies were strongly imprinted on Yeats’s thoughts. He questioned radical human issues on life and death, and both in plays and poetry he symbolically expressed his philosophical beliefs in life after death, reincarnation, and the Platonic “world of ideas.” Water and birds are symbolic devices he often uses for these themes. Birds mostly take a symbolic connotation of disembodied souls and the sea is in most cases a background through which the souls pass to reach the perpetual world of ideas that transcends ephemerality of the material world. It is noteworthy that among many works of Yeats, The Shadowy Waters and “Sailing to Byzantium” well incorporated such philosophical convictions. The human souls, escaping from the natural world, pursue true happiness and dream of the eternal “world of ideas.”

T.S. 엘리엇은 전혀 새로운 시인으로서 20세기 영미시에서 우리가 전혀 본적이 없는 시를 쓴 시인이다. 그러나, 그는 유럽, 특히 프랑스 시의 전통에 확고한 뿌리를 둔 시인이다. 반면, W.B. 예이츠는 자신이 상징이라고 정의한 시의 특성을 추구한 시인으로 영시나 아일랜드 시에서 금세기에서 조차 어떤 시인도 그를 능가하지 못하고 있다. 이 글은 엘리엇에 영향을 준 프랑스 시인에 대해 이야기 한다. 엘리엇은 프랑스의 새로운 시인들과 접촉하게 되어 독특한 시를 쓰게 된 것은 명확한 것 같다. 엘리엇은 시인 코르비에르에게서 프랑스 시인들이 무시하고 가치를 보지 못한, 프랑스 시의 전혀 새로운 면을 볼 수 있었다. 이 글은 구하의 책에서 프랑스 시의 영향을 다룬다. 특히 트리스탄 코르비에르의 엘리엇에 대한 영향을 논하다. 코르비에르는 당시 프랑스에서 전혀 관심을 끌지 못한 무명시인이었다. 엘리엇은 이 시인에게서 새로운 것을 발견할 수 있었고 그것을 자신의 시에 잘 사용하였다. 구하는 이점을 다룬다. 반면 예이츠는 불어시를 읽을 수 없었고 프랑스 시에 큰 영향을 받지 않은 것 같다. 예이츠는 그의 산문에서 엘리엇의 새로움과 위대함을 지적한다.

T.S. Eliot is a totally new poet, whose poetry is not similar to any we have ever seen, in twentieth English (and American) poetry; however, with its foundation firmly rooted in European poetry, in particular in French poetry. In the meantime, W.B. Yeats is a poet of symbolism, which any poetry is yet to outshine in the current century, in English (and Irish) poetry. This essay touches on what a French writer may have given to Eliot. It seems certain that Eliot has formed his unique poetry by being exposed to some new poets in France. Eliot could catch the glimpse of what has seemed totally new in French poetry. This essay looks at Chinmoy Guha’s book on French poetry’s influence on Eliot, in particular his discussion of Tristan Corbièrre’s influence on Eliot. Corbièrre is a minor poet that drew little attention in France at that time. Eliot was capable of seeing the new in Corbièrre, and made the most of them in his own poetry. Guha discusses in depth what is new and unique in Corbièrre’s poetry and his inflence on Eliot.. In the meantime Yeats could not read French poetry in French, and it seems that he was not influenced by French poetry. Yeats seems to have understood the newness and greatness of a new poetry of Eliot.

본 연구는 베이커리 카페의 소비경험과 심리적 행복 및 재방문의도 간의 관계를 살펴보고 검증하기 위해 연구모형 및 가설설정을 하고 실증분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 베이커리 카페의 소비경험 중 다양성과 유희성이 심리적 행복에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 상징성과 사회성은 심리적 행복에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 베이커리 카페의 소비경험 중 상징성과 사회성이 재방문의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 다양성과 유희성은 재방문의도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 심리적 행복이 재방문의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해 베이커리 카페 시장에서 중요하게 생각하는 것은 무엇이며, 재방문을 유도하고 효과적인 마케팅 전략 방안을 수립하는데 유용한 자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

The research model, hypothesis setting, and empirical analysis were conducted to examine and verify the relationship between the consumption experience and psychological happiness and revisit intention of bakery cafe in this study. The analysis results are as follows. First, among the consumption experiences of the bakery cafe, diversity and play were found to have a significant effect on psychological happiness, but symbolism and sociality were found to have no significant effect on psychological happiness. Second, it was found that symbolism and sociality had a significant effect on the revisit intention among the consumption experiences of the bakery cafe, but diversity and play did not affect the revisit intention. Third, it was found that psychological happiness had a significant effect on the intention to revisit. Through the results of this study, what is important in the bakery cafe market, and it will be possible to provide useful and valuable data for inducing revisiting and establishing effective marketing strategy plans.

도시의 인구 집중화가 가속화되고 있다. 연도별 도시지역 인구비율이 매년 꾸준히 높아지고 있다. 그렇다면 왜 이와 같은 상황이 발생하는가? 본 연구는 이를 확인하기 위 해 실행되었다. 선행 연구에 의하면 도시의 에너지는 비즈니스였다. 도시의 강력한 영향력은 문화관광이었다. 이에 대해서 본 연구는 도시의 관문적 성격으로서 교통이 있음 을 확인할 수 있었다. “모든 길은 로마로 통한다.”는 말이 도시의 확장을 정확히 설명하고 있다. 로마는 길을 통해 확장했고, 비로마인은 길을 통해 로마에 들어와 로마화되었 다. 교통의 관문적 역할은 역사적 사실로 입증되었다. 본 연구는 전주시 거주민을 대상으로 진행하였다. 연구결과는 크게 두 가지 측면에서 확인할 수 있었다. 첫째, 교통을 통한 이동의 편리성이다. 교통은 지역 간 이동을 편리하게 해준다. 불편한 교통시설은 이동을 제약한다. 이동이 편리한 교통망을 통해 도시에 유입되는 인구 역시 증가할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 외부 인구의 편리한 방문이 도시의 상징성을 강화할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

The centralization of the city's population is accelerating. The percentage of population in urban areas by year is steadily increasing every year. Why does this kind of situation happen? This study was conducted to confirm this. According to prior research, the city's energy was business. The powerful force of the city was cultural tourism. It has been proven to be a historical fact that transportation plays the role of a gateway. This study identified traffic as a gateway to the city. The phrase “All roads lead to Rome.” accurately explains the expansion of the city. Rome expanded through roads, and non-Roman people entered Rome through roads and became Romanized. Rome grew like that. This study was conducted on residents of Jeonju City. The findings were largely found in two aspects. First, it is the convenience of transportation. Transportation makes convenient travel between regions. Uncomfortable transportation facilities constrain travel. It was confirmed that the population entering the city could also increase through a convenient transportation network. Second, it can be confirmed that a convenient visit by the outside population can strengthen the symbolism of the city.

다양한 문화권의 소비자 니즈를 충족시켜야 하는 현대 패션에서는 무엇보다 차별화된 아름다움을 새로운 형태로 표현하는 발상의 전환과 창의적인 발전이 필요하다. 우리 전통문화도 다른 문화권의 소비자들에게 보편적인 미로서 인정받게 된다면 국제적 경쟁력을 확보했다고 할 수 있을 것이다. 민화는 민중에 의해 그려 졌고 발전된 대중적 예술로 상징적 의미가 담겨 있으며, 우리의 정신과 염원이 담겨 있는 민간예술이다. 민화 의 화려한 색채와 조형적 예술 양식이 복식에 어우러져 다른 미를 창출했을 때 세계 패션 시장에 도전할 만한 가치가 있을 것이다. 다양한 예술 양식 중 대중문화 속에 등장하는 각종 이미지를 활용한 팝아트는 자본 주의 사회가 만들어낸 소비문화의 대중예술이다. 현대사회의 대량생산과 대량소비의 생활양식을 새로운 시 각으로 적극 활용함으로써 새로운 양상의 예술을 가능케 하였으며, 일상의 소재들을 예술 영역으로 끌어들여 창작함으로써 우리 생활과 밀착된 예술이 팝아트이다. 오늘날 예술계에서 민화에 팝아트적인 요소를 더하여 민화와 팝아트의 융합을 시도하고 있다. 민화와 팝아트의 만남은 국제적 다국적 시대에 우리 민족 정서를 계승하면서 소비자에게 고감각, 고품격 상품 이미지로 우리 전통 고유의 미적 특성을 담는 작업이다. 본 연구 는 우리 민족의 미의식과 생활미가 담겨 있어 민족의 정서를 상징하는 옛 그림의 민화와, 대중예술인 팝아트 의 미적 특성의 유사점을 도출하여 민화를 현대적 시각으로 팝아트화하여 이를 패션디자인에 응용하고, 또한 한국적 이미지의 표현 가능성 및 방향을 모색하는데 연구 목적이 있다. 이러한 시도로 민화가 가진 전통미가 현대적이고 창조적인 방법으로 표현될 수 있는 가능성을 제시하고자 한다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 세계무대에 서 차별화될 수 있는 패션디자인을 개발하고 제시하는데 연구 의의가 있다. 본 연구의 방법은 민화 관련 문 헌, 선행 연구 자료, 회화 그림, 인터넷 자료를 중심으로 진행되었다. 민화와 팝아트의 유사성을 대중성, 상징 성, 해학성, 실용성으로 도출하여 이를 응용한 패션디자인 작품 4점을 제작하였다.

Modern fashion, which has to meet the consumer needs in various cultures, requires different ways of thinking and creative development to express differentiated beauty in a new form. Korean traditional culture can guarantee its international competitiveness only when the customers in other cultural regions recognize it as an universal beauty. Korean folk painting is the art of ordinary people. It has been created and developed by ordinary people with various symbolic meanings and their aspirations as well as their whole spirits. The splendid colors and formative art figures in Korean folk painting are valuable to challenge the world fashion market when applied on clothes and recreated as differentiated new beauty. Pop art is the popular art which has been created by capitalist society with culture of consumption and a variety of images from popular culture. It made a new perspective of art possible by leveraging our life style of mass production and mass consumption and came very close to our real life by creating art with materials of everyday life. Today, some artists are trying to combine Korean folk painting and pop art by putting pop art elements onto Korean folk painting. The combination of Korean folk painting and pop art is the work that expresses the aesthetic characteristics of our traditional culture and succeeds to our traditional sentiment with high quality product image in line with customer's high sensitivity in this multinational age. This study is aimed at finding the similarities of aesthetic characteristics between folk arts, regarded as a symbolic painting of our national emotion and lives, and pop arts, created by capitalism and consumer culture. Based on the similarities, this study can also be a cornerstone of research to apply the folk painting with a modern perspective, reform the folk painting like pop arts and find the way of expressing Korean image on fashion design. Furthermore, this study is meaningful in that it shows creative and modern possibility of Korean traditional beauty and lets the world know the possibility as well as it presents the direction for the development of differentiated fashion design. The research method is based on related references, previous studies, pictures, painting, art catalogue and internet data. And the similarities between folk painting and pop art are drawn up with the criteria of popularity, symbolism, humor and practicality. Based on those criteria, four fashion design works were created by the author to present the real cases that make use of the elements of similarities.

예이츠가 살았던 노르만양식의 탑은 그의 시에서 매우 훌륭한 상징을 제공하였다. “탑”은 시집 􋺷탑􋺸에 수록된 전체시를 대표하며 예이츠 시학과 철학의 정 수를 보여준다. 본 논문은 “탑”을 매우 세밀히 읽고 분석한다. 또한 탑이 시인에게 의 미하는 것과 탑으로부터 시인이 깨달은 것이 무엇인지를 연구한다. “어린 학생들 사이 에서” 나 “비잔티움 항행”의 주인공들과는 달리 “탑”의 화자는 현실을 도피하지도 않 으며 현실을 순간적으로만 깨닫지 않는다. 이 세상을, 인간이 태어나 살다 죽고 다시 태어나는 영원한 순환의 세상, 즉 “달 저편의 낙원”으로 봄으로써 시인은 마침내 삶과 죽음을 초월하는 깨달음에 도달한다. 이것은 새롭고 진정한 깨달음이다.

The Norman tower where Yeats lived provided him with a great symbol in his poetry, and his poem “The Tower” represents the whole corpus of the poems in the volume, The Tower. This paper aims to read and analyse “The Tower” minutely, to show that it is the crystalization of Yeats’s poetics and philosophy. It also studies what the tower means to the poet and what he realizes from it. Unlike the speakers in “Among School Children” or “Sailing to Byzantium,” the speaker in “The Tower” neither escapes from reality nor reaches a momentary realization of reality. Seeing this world as a “Translunar Paradise” where man is born, lives, dies, and is born again in an eternal cycle. Yeats finally reaches an enlightenment and transcends life and death: a new realization.
