The purpose of this study reveals the cause and relationships of lower self-esteem during the usage of social media services(SNS). We surveyed 184 young people in grades 1 through 3 in middle school. They were asked to fill out the survey asking about SNS addiction tendency and relation of lower self-esteem in the four different major categories of SNS posts. (Appearance, material value, human relationship and leisure life.) As a result, SNS posts related with leisure life and human relationship greatly affects other major categories of SNS posts which lowers youth’s self-esteem. Also, among appearance, material value, human relationship and leisure life, they chose leisure life as second for lowering youth’s self esteem the largest. Therefore, SNS posts about leisure life mostly makes youth see themselves negatively. Although it is difficult to completely stop SNS posts from lowering youth’s self esteem, it is found that by restricting SNS posts related with leisure life, it makes youth reduce to look themselves negatively as much as possible.

First impressions are important in ones school life. We carried out research into first impressions using EEG. Four middle school students participated in this study. We measured EEG when the participants saw the different facial shape and face color in the prefrontal area. We calculated the ratio of θ, α, β and γ using power spectrum analysis. The results are as followed. When they saw the different facial shape, the ratio of β wave was higher in seeing the good feeling facial picture than the general facial picture in individual analysis and group analysis. When they saw the different face color, the ratio of θ wave was lower in seeing the good feeling facial picture than the general facial picture in individual analysis and group analysis. β wave is much larger portion during the complex cognitive task and θ wave is much larger portion during the calm state. Our results suggest that the brain is more complex state in good feeling first impression and that is somewhat different in calm state.

This study aims to explore the effect of the self-regulated learning in the mathematics class to the academic achievement levels, academic self-efficacy and self-determination motivation. For this purpose, This research selected two class and investigate our goal though the mixed method. As a result, self-regulated learning is improve the study, content, and confidence.

The purpose of the study was to analyze the trends of artificial intelligence (AI) studies in mathematics education, this study analyzed research topics, research methods, and research subjects for 26 papers published in KCI-level journals over the past six years. In terms of research subjects, research related to educational engineering and teaching aids, teacher education, evaluation, and curriculum were important, and the rest were insufficient. In terms of research methods, the proportion of qualitative studies was higher than that of quantitative studies. In terms of research subjects, they could be classified into literature, teachers, and students.

The Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development(MOE) announced recently its intention to revise the Law for Elementary and Secondary Education in a brave bid to accommodate a lot of alternative schools that have been run without approval as those registered under the category of 'other schools', a measure that will allow them to officially take part in public education. The number of alternative schools is expected to increase more feverishly, as the ministry also revealed its plans to designate hundred something institutions as schools that will then be commissioned to educate students found unable to adapt themselves to normal school environment and will be supported financially. In this context, it seems significant to compare and analyze the curricula of alternative schools for more understanding to their systems.

The purpose of this study is to find the motivational factors for mathematics learning and to explore specific teaching strategies. We first try to explain the need for motivation in learning, define what the motivation for mathematics learning is, and explain it. Based on this definition, we investigated what factors are driving the motivation for mathematics learning that affect the student's learning. As a result, we were able to find intrinsic and extrinsic motivations as factors of motivation for mathematical learning. The intrinsic motivation factors were interest and self-efficacy. And external motivation factors were external rewards. Finally, we describe a specific teaching strategy that can support interest, self-efficacy, and extrinsic rewards. Therefore, we hope that the specific strategies presented in the study will help teachers organize their math classes.

This study is aimed at reviewing whether the high school history textbooks of both Korea and Japan, which are two parties of the Japanese Invasion of 1592(Imjin Wearan), describe the Imjin Wearan from an impartial and objective point of view, and clarifying how the perception of the war expressed in historical descriptions has influenced the awareness which two countries have of the counterpart. The history textbooks of two countries show a tendency to describe specifically the success(or victory) of his or her own country, and to evade the description of their failure(or defeat). Besides, Korea imputed every war guilty to Japan, the invader, and Japan did not reflect actively the standpoint of Korea, the victim even though she admitted the fact of invasion. Nevertheless, unlike Korea which has the only one history textbook, Japan has eleven history textbooks, among which there is a textbook like “High School Japan History B(Jitkyo)”, which describes actively the invasion of Japan and the suffering of Korea.

Mathematics teachers' noticing plays a critical role in identifying students' understanding and misconceptions and in effectively supporting learning through appropriate instructional responses. This study analyzes the research trends on the noticing of mathematics teachers in South Korea and aims to provide insights for future research. Using a systematic literature review method, a total of 26 domestic studies were analyzed. The results indicate that the research primarily focuses on the "Numbers and Operations" domain, while studies on the "Algebra" domain and research targeting middle school students are relatively lacking. In terms of research subjects, studies on novice teachers are insufficient, and there is a noticeable lack of comparative studies on the noticing abilities among in-service teachers, pre-service teachers, and novice teachers. Additionally, while many studies have investigated the three components of noticing; attending, interpreting, and responding; there are also a significant number of studies that focus solely on attending. However, there is an absence of research on the component of "constructing". These findings suggest the need for more diverse and comprehensive research on the noticing of mathematics teachers, including studies across various mathematical content areas and studies focusing on novice teachers. Moreover, it underscores the importance of integrated research on attending, interpreting, and responding to enhance teacher professionalism, as well as the need for future research to address the component of constructing.

This study explores the potential of using ChatGPT as a learning support tool in elementary school mathematical modeling lessons. To this end, real-world problems from the mathematics textbook were reconstructed into modeling tasks, and lessons were designed and implemented in which students utilized ChatGPT to solve these tasks. Students’ modeling processes and interactions with ChatGPT were qualitatively analyzed to investigate how the use of digital technologies influences the execution of modeling phases. In particular, students’ usage patterns and perceptions of ChatGPT were examined to provide a comprehensive understanding of the educational affordances of ChatGPT from both learner and teacher perspectives. The findings suggest that generative AI can serve as an effective cognitive and affective support tool in elementary mathematics education.

In order to investigate the effect of personality on human relationships, we analyzed the following: 1) analysis of humanoids that emphasize Extroversion factors and Introversion factors, 2) analysis of factors to maintain interpersonal relationships, and 3) I decided to explore it in depth through analysis of the cause. To conduct this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted for 168 students of M High School. Through this, we try to derive data analysis and conclusions about the relationship between personality and interpersonal relationship. I was able to see that people with outwardly active, good personality and those who fit well with others can maintain good relationships. Also, when dealing with opponents, considerate actions or words appeared to be more favorable. Therefore, internal factors are important to achieve good friendship, so-called interpersonal relations. However, as I mentioned in the above article, external factors also tend to affect human relationships, rather than merely focusing on internal factors, so internal and external factors must be balanced to form the basis of interpersonal relations.
