수학과목의 영어몰입교육에 대한 학생들의 인식

The purpose of the study was to investigate the perceptions and difficulties of the elementary 6th graders in the instruction of mathematics implemented in English. The participants for the study were five 6th grade female students enrolled in a public welfare learning center, and none of them had any experiences regarding to English immersion education. The results of the study indicated that they had felt difficulties in English immersion instruction in learning of mathematics. And they thought that they had become to study mathematics more actively. They also had felt that English immersion education were helpful and gave them more confidence in English. Also they believed that people would use more English in daily lives. They also suggested that instructors should include some activities such as games, and it would be desirable to use both languages in teaching of mathematics.

In this study, by analyzing the students' affective characteristics of mathematics learning, it is to provide suggestions on teaching and learning in the future. Therefore, targeting 29 students who participated in the A university extracurricular programs, pre - was carried out to check the post in the affective fulfillment level. As a result, we were able to see the sight of math anxiety of intermediate course is less than the advanced course. Based on these results, it can be seen to have been an opportunity to be able to recognize the importance of affective achievement level in future teaching and learning.

This study is based on research to improve the mathematics curriculum document system. Thus, through a literature review, we propose a conceptual framework for analyzing the mathematics curriculum document system. First, the documents were classified as internal systems and external systems. And the external system components of shape "type of article in the curriculum, such as the Book of formats and standards published methods, contents of the document" that was included in the content of the internal system components ie "Contents of the curriculum documents relationship between the contents of the sub-item, the qualitative meaning of the descriptions ", etc. were included.

The purpose of the study was to investigate Third Culture Kids(TCK)’ perception of the teaching and learning of mathematics in Korea and foreign, and the difficulties students faced in their mathematical learning. As a result, TCK were difficult to unfamiliar mathematical term and excessive workload in mathematical learning in Korea. Teachers should be aware not only of the difficulties TCK faced in their mathematical learning, but also of their special needs.

Recently the advent of 3D printer called the third industrial revolution makes it possible for users to construct the manipulative of 3D solid figures in the math classroom. This study wants to discuss a new issue that the users can construct their own manipulative using the 3D printer which causes users a low cost and an easy way to use based on spatial visualization and using the construction program of 3D solid figures called Stella which was made by Robert Webb of Australia. Through introducing how to construct the figures using the combination of these two technology tools, teachers in math classroom could provide more users oriented and interesting ways of building own solids so that students can have time to study in more concrete ways to prove what they understand. In the future, more research could be performed to investigate how these technologies influence to students’ learning and teachers’ instructional materials for helping students.

This paper introduces each step with Branford is a geometric proof-flow occurs in the present, and the proof, as explained in Branford look at the problems that overlooked when divided into three phases. First, the intuitive proof is a proven and universal generalization, mathematical proof deals with abstract math concepts through manipulation of mathematical symbols. But this seems excessive leap that takes place between the two will have. Second, the student can prove in an intuitive level but there did not reach the level of mathematical proof, if the student is able to use their certification process to a logical and rational verbal proof enough to convince others, there is the problem of whether the student to see the level of intuitive proof. In this paper, through the intuitive proof and mathematical proof as a way to compensate for this problem, termed as' intuitive mathematical proof, and the proof is intended to refine the three-phase theory of Branford geometric theory proved to step 4.

The purpose of the study was to analyse preceding research about STEAM education, and suggest setting research direction in future though comprehensive analysis. In order to achieve this goal, the study was developing STEAM education program based on storytelling. Current, most researches about STEAM education was research using manipulatives and technology. As New approach method of STEAM education, the study was to use storytelling method which can help learning in aspect of knowledge context. Such STEAM program development based on storytelling can help to dynamize mathematics-based STEAM education. Diverse researches of teaching and learning about STEAM education will affect positively to dynamize it.
