The purpose of the study was to analyze the trends of artificial intelligence (AI) studies in mathematics education, this study analyzed research topics, research methods, and research subjects for 26 papers published in KCI-level journals over the past six years. In terms of research subjects, research related to educational engineering and teaching aids, teacher education, evaluation, and curriculum were important, and the rest were insufficient. In terms of research methods, the proportion of qualitative studies was higher than that of quantitative studies. In terms of research subjects, they could be classified into literature, teachers, and students.

The purpose of this study is to examine the errors and difficulties of student when representating irrational number on the number line. In order to achieve this purpose, we collected student’s errors and difficulties through task-based interview with high school students who learned irrational numbers. Furthermore, we conducted additional interview to help students. As a result, we found that placing a student's generated geometric representation on the number line is a complex process that includes concepts such as a sense of the number on number line, determining directionality for signs, and parallel movement. Therefore, teachers need to use an appropriate visual mediators when teaching irrational numbers.

In this study, I developed hypothetical learning trajectory(HLT) of line graph. To this end, I reviewed a lot of literature of curriculum, paper, text book and then developed proto-type HLT of line graph. For refinement in proto-type, I built up tasks associated with HLT which I developed and I interviewed three students using the tasks. I refined the HLT though this process and completed HLT.
