As the world gradually advances to an aging society, the quality of human life is valued. Among them, 'quality of sleep' is very closely related to quality of life. Recently, Korea expanded health insurance coverage for “sleep disorders”. Particularly, as the number of sleep multiple tests and prescriptions for sleep aids has increased rapidly, much attention has been focused on the related medical service environment. Therefore, this study looked at an in-depth interview of 11 hospitals to see what treatment delivery system is being established when the government applies health insurance for 'sleep disorders'. In conclusion, the organizations with the most average number of sleep polyp tests per day were found to have more sleep polyp labs (hardware) and more full-time specialists. Also, the polysomnography lab (hardware) and the specialist's full-time status (software) did not necessarily result in a “positive pressure regulator prescription” that can solve “sleep apnea” caused by “sleep ailments”. Rather, it was found that the number of days of sleep multiple laboratories (hardware), the number of full-time specialists (software) or the specialty majors (software) had a greater impact. In particular, the higher the specialist's full-time personnel (software) index (=6.000), the higher the sleepinducing agent prescription rate(=1.000), and the lower the specialist's full-time personnel (software) index (=1.000), the higher the sleep-inducer's prescription rate(= 0.010) Was low. In addition, even if the professional full-time personnel(software) index was the same (=1.000), the hospital type was lower as it was closer to the public hospital(=0.067) and higher at the specialized hospital (= 0.933). In the case of university hospitals, when the full-time specialists (software) are in the same condition (= 1.000), the frequency of use of the sleep laboratory (=1.000) and the sleep test rate (= 1.000) were all the same.

The Chemist Antoine-Laurent Lavoisier and mathematician Pierre Simon Laplace, who conducted a collaborative research on heat phenomena, are two of the key figures that represent French scientific community in the late 18th century. They joined hands together to understand heat phenomena that had not been fully explained until that time. They studied heat phenomena based on a heat particle model called ‘caloric’ and this study further expanded into light, magnetism and electricity, laying groundwork for many other research achievements afterwards. This article goes through their individual researches and looks into the process of their joint research based on the analysis of their publications. Further to these, it emphasizes its continuity with the Laplacian Program, a large-scale research project conducted in the early 19th century. Lastly, this article presents how science can merge with history, and at the same time, introduces the prerequisites for successful convergence research through existing research cases.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of police officers’ participatory decision-making, supervisory quality and attitude, organizational justice on job satisfaction focused on mediating effect of worklife conflict. As a result of analysis of 185 police officers, the results were as follows. The causal relationships between participatory decision-making, organizational justice and work-life conflict, the ones between supervisory qualities and attitude, organizational justice, work-life conflict and job satisfaction, all of them reached the significance levels, not the causal relationship between supervisory qualityand attitude work-life conflict. Thus, the results for the interaction have shown, participatory decision-making and organizational justice and work-life conflict have negative influences on work-life conflict respectively, and supervisory qualities and attitude conflict, organizational justice conflict, work-life conflict have effect on job satisfaction with positive and negative effect. The Sobel-test showed that the Sobel-test statistic of the mediating effect of work-life conflict on causal relationships between organizational justice and job satisfaction is significant, but not in the mediating effect of work-life conflict on causal relationships between supervisory qualities and attitude and job satisfaction. According to the analytical results, work-life conflict is an important factor that can improve police officers' job satisfaction in the public organizational context with an open-oriented- system and culture for employees' participation in the process of decision making and equality and fairness for organizational management. It is also noted that work-life harmony for employees may be incompatible with the supervisor's perception of the work-oriented or prioritized-way in hierarchical organizations like police agencies.

In general, members of an organization want their own growth and development. As these members grow or develop, they feel satisfied and fulfilled in the process. Growth or development can motivate members to become more involved in their jobs. Therefore, these concepts are very important for organizations as well as individual members. Various elements of the organization affect the growth of its members. Leaders influence members to achieve organizational goals. Leaders can therefore be an important variable influencing the growth of members. Specific leadership informally develops the potential to identify and satisfy members' personal needs and to achieve higher performance. These leader behaviors motivate members and drive their growth. Thus, this leadership will have a significant impact on the growth of members. In addition, in this relationship, if members have perceived organizational support, they can further improve their expectations for growth. Therefore, support from leaders and organizations will have a positive impact on employee growth. This study highlights the importance of the growth of members of the organization. It demonstrates the moderating effects of leader's individualized consideration and perceived organizational support necessary elements for member growth. Through this process, the purpose and significance of the study are to identify the variables that affect the personal growth of members and explain how they can grow.

In this paper, I try to help the business operation so that they could continue the desirable operation despite the unfavorable conditions. It is important to reinforce for corporate growth various support measures to generate profits. However, if they are involved in criminal activities such as slush fund creation, they will have to deal with them separately. As a result, To raise awareness helps to keep the company running. Recently, the companies are in a poor condition due to overseas migration. If a company does not create profits by doing business, it is a burden to continue operating and it will eventually be hard to support and destroy. The corporate crime and white-collar crime are mostly similar types, mainly because they occur in the industry. The corporate crime proceeds throughout the company and ultimately translates into corporate profits. The white-collar crime, on the other hand, is a profitable part of the individual. In the process of generating profits, the purpose and management method of slush funds is an important issue in judging whether illegal immorality of business is intended or not. In addition, in the case of the corporate crime, it seems necessary to identify the types of slush fund raising activities in addition to the investigations of the accomplices and clinical investigations, and to apply efficient investigation methods on a case-by-case basis. At present, many companies frequently migrate overseas due to the influence of domestic regulations. In this process, if it is involved in crime such as a borrowing accounts or the purpose of slush fund creation should be treated separately.

One difficulty in language learning is the training of reading ability. The improvement on this ability directly affects the process and effect of language learning. At the same time, there are numerous difficulties in actual learning and teaching. Depending on current research, there is two ideas that can utilize to enhance the reading efficiency of learners. One is to amend objective factors; the other is to change subjective factors. Compared with the two ideas, idiosyncratic factors are more manipulable and controllable, so it is more valuable to conduct researches on this. But among the many subjective factors, the degree of their effectiveness is not the same, so this article attempts to compare and analyze the driving effects of two important subjective factors (peer-driven and task-driven) on reading performance. The results show that both factors can have a positive impact on reading comprehension, but different in driving effects. The task-driven has obvious shortterm effectiveness; while peer-driven needs to establish its long-term effect on the basis of early coordination and cooperation among team members. Therefore, in order to maximize the achievement of learning, it is necessary to combine strengths and avoid weaknesses according to the characteristics of two factors, so as to help learners improve reading ability most efficiently.

In this study, we introduce a multi-modal mixed reality (MR) application for advertising the main touristic landmarks on Jeju Island, and evaluate its effectiveness based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with a focus on the user's involvement in Korean culture (K-Culture). Specifically, we deployed several stimuli to enable users to retrieve information, visualize a variety of heritage content such as text, images, videos, virtual artifacts, and immerse in a VR environment to experience the heritage locations. The results of the online survey with 436 participants showed that for consumers with low K-Culture involvement, Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease-of-Use did not affect their Intention to Visit the island. Still, it had a significant impact on their Intention to Use the application. On the other hand, for the group with high K-Culture involvement, Perceived Usefulness had no effect on the Intention to Use and Intention to Visit. However, Perceived Ease-of-Use had a significant impact on their Intention to Use the application and Intention to Visit Jeju Island. Therefore, when user involvement in K-Culture is high, convenience of use has played a significant role in sensory media usage and the intention to visit, regardless of the usefulness of the mixed reality content. In contrast, users with low K-Culture involvement primarily focused on the functional aspects of the application. These findings open the path for follow-up studies on K-Culture involvement and immersive media tourism marketing, which will benefit digital tourism marketing and Korea's tourism industry.

Recently the wearable technologies market has diversified to the point where even the leading fashion brands have adopted prototypes. For this reason, consumer- and fashion-centric perspectives on the consumption of wearable technologies are needed for a better understanding of the market. The author tests the effect of design aesthetics of a fictitious smartwatch (i.e., the wearable technology) as a key factor of nonfunctional hedonic consumption on consumer-perceived product value. The results of an online survey of 233 U.S. shoppers indicate a strong, positive effect of design aesthetics on both the perceived utilitarian and hedonic values of wearable technologies. Furthermore, the hypothesized moderation of gender is statistically confirmed in the mechanism of design aesthetics toward perceived utilitarian value, but gender is found to not moderate the effect of design aesthetics for the smartwatch on hedonic value. Male shoppers are found to be more positively influenced by perceived design aesthetics. Theoretical and managerial implications and study limitations are further discussed.

Individual personality traits are key factors that affect users’ self-disclosure on SNS. We examined the relationship between an individual personality trait (i.e., narcissism) and three dimensions of self-disclosure behavior on Facebook (i.e., intention, level, and control of self-disclosure). A total of 261 Facebook users completed an online survey. The findings showed that more narcissistic individuals engage in deeper levels of selfdisclosure and do so with greater intentionality than previous research indicated. More interestingly, narcissistic users simultaneously tend to control their expressions in public by concealing who they really are. Overall, these findings suggested that the self-disclosures on Facebook must not investigated by a single dimensions for better understanding of psychological dynamics of it users. In addition, the present research suggested that the narcissism should not be regarded as a predictor which simply gives either a positive or negative influence on self-disclosing behaviors in SNS.

As one of the successful brand activism ad campaigns in recent years, the current study focuses on the Always #LikeAGirl campaign that took on the issue of girls and female empowerment. As a viral video marketing campaign with YouTube as their main vehicle for campaign dissemination, this study examined how Always brand activism campaigns spread on YouTube by conducting a network analysis of YouTube video networks generated by the #LikeAGirl campaign spanning across five campaign periods. Quantifiable data (i.e., views, comments, likes, dislikes, user-generated videos) and structural network patterns show that the Always #LikeAGirl campaign was successful by both standards. Although the follow-up campaign periods were not as successful as the initial campaign, the substantial amount of views, comments, likes, and usergenerated content showed that the consecutive campaigns still had impact. As shown through the network patterns, the main campaign ads were central in the diffusion of the campaign during the earlier periods but that role was passed onto the user-generated contents in the later periods. Implications of the findings and future social network analysis studies in brand advertising and brand activism campaigns are further discussed.

The response analysis of frame structure with open section beams considering warping conditions and short duration load have been performed. When a beam of frame structure is subjected under torsional moment, the cross section will deform a warping as well as twist. For some thin-walled sections warping will be large, and accompanying warping restraint will induce axial and shear stresses and reduce the twist of beam which stiffens the beam in torsion. Because of impact or blast loads, the wave propagation effects become increasingly important as load duration decreases. This paper presents that a warping restraint in finite element model effects the behavior of beam deformation, dynamic mode shape and response analysis. The computer modelling of frame is discussed in linear beam element model and linear thin shell element model, also presents a correlation between computer predicted and actual experimental results for static deflection, natural frequencies and mode shapes of frame. A method to estimate the number of normal modes that are important is discussed.

The purpose of this study is to examine whether the visual materials presented in the science textbooks coincide with those visual materials that are preferred the most by students. After analyzing the visual materials presented in the unit “Molecular Motion and Change of State” of science textbooks for the first grade of middle school, questionnaires by teaching-learning process are made. Thereafter, students are requested to select those types of visual materials that were preferred by them by process and describe their reasons for the selection. According to the results of the survey of students’ perception, students at the high science achievement level prefer those visual materials that were presented conceptually and implicatively, while students at the low science achievement level prefer concrete and detailed visual materials. Except for the learning motivation process, the proportion of non-preferred visual materials is higher in the remaining processes and those visual materials that were presented in the science textbooks are much different from those visual materials that were preferred by students.

This study inquired about the convergence learning program for childhood based on Erikson's play theory and design education for children’s behavior development. I analyzed the convergence learning programs of Summer Camps in the Pacific Science Center, Galileo Learning. The contents of the programs show the most used imaginary and symbolic contents that represent the real-world problems which are related design thinking process. The curriculums and structure of the programs are based on the design thinking method and K-12 theory. The visual thinking method and the applications are used for expressing their creativity and approaching the technical skills easily. The play concept theory is an affirmative way to strengthen the children’s psychological and social development. Therefore, the convergence learning program should integrate the design thinking process and apply the play concept theory for supporting and developing the children's behavior.

This study is conducted to find out the nurses’ character for care and the workplace bullying for the early stage nurses working in the clinical field and their relation in order to understand the factors which would affect the consequence of the workplace bullying. Data collected from 131 early stage nurses working at one general hospital for 7 months was used for this study. The data was analyzed with descriptive statistics, Independent ttest, one-way ANOVA, Pearson‘s correlation coefficient, Hierarchical multiple regression by using SPSS/WIN 21.0. It was found that high the nurses’ character for care was related to the lower workplace bullying (type and consequence) (r=-.31, p<.001; r=-.26, p=.003) and that the worse the score in the type of bullying was the higher consequence (r=.54, p<.001). The multiple regression analysis showed that the factors affecting the consequence of the workplace bullying were the type of bullying (β=.48), dissatisfaction with nursing (β=.22), and moderate satisfaction with nursing (β=.19) and that the explanation of the model by variables was 32.5%. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested that the effort of lowering the occurrence of the type of bullying and the strategy of enhancing the satisfaction with nursing such as improvement in the quality of nursing education be made in order to improve the consequence of workplace bullying at the workplace for the early stage nurses.

Although the market demand for cold-chain logistics of agricultural products in China is growing rapidly, the technology and scale of cold-chain logistics in China still lag behind the developed countries, resulting in large energy consumption. In our country, many authors have studied the efficiency of cold-chain logistics by using analytic hierarchy process and data envelopment method, but they haven't eliminated the influence of environmental factors and random error factors on the efficiency of cold-chain logistics, and most of them are limited to regional research. Therefore, in this paper, the three-stage DEA method is used. Based on the green logistics idea, firstly, the efficiency of 29 listed logistics enterprises in China is analyzed. Secondly, this paper uses SFA model to exclude the influence of environment and error factors on the analysis results, taking the enterprise's operating years, local GDP and the proportion of cold chain assets as environmental variables. Russia has an interesting history as a donor, recipient and re-emerging donor in international development assistance (IDA). This article introduces the history, policy and challenges of Russian IDA, and provides suggestions for such challenges. The main barrier to Russian IDA is the absence of a central government agency and Russia can learn from other country’s experience. Concerning lack of data on the provision of assistance to each sector of IDA and the large number of recipient countries, Russia can learn from Korea particularly in education sector. With respect to building a system ensuring the efficiency of the Russian IDA works, a tool for analysis of the effect of the Russian IDA programmes may be drawn in consultation with international institutions or successful programmes of other donor countries.

Generally, sequential data refers to data having continuity. Text data, which is a representative type of unstructured data, is also sequential data in that it is necessary to know the meaning of the preceding word in order to know the meaning of the following word or context. So far, many techniques for analyzing sequential data such as text data have been proposed. In this paper, four methods of 1d-CNN, LSTM, BiLSTM, and CLSTM are introduced, focusing on neural network techniques. In addition, by using this, IMDb movie review data was classified into two classes to compare the performance of the techniques in terms of accuracy and analysis time.
