The purpose of the present study is to examine the effect of civic cooperation with the police on the number of crime that the police must solve by conducting simulation based on system dynamics. The study sets police oriented-policing model and police-citizen cooperative model to investigate the effect of civic cooperation with the police. As a result of the simulation, the police oriented-policing model shows that the number of crime that police must solve is increasing over time, while the police-citizen cooperative model shows that the number of crime that must be solved by the police is keeping it stable in the increase of crimes. Comparing both models, civic cooperation with the police is more effective in reducing or deterring crime than police oriented-policing activity. The study proves that building cooperative relationship between citizens and the police can become a strategic method for controlling crime effectively without a rapid increase in police finance. It is meaningful in terms of presenting a dynamic change of interaction for reducing crimes between civic cooperation with the police and policing activity of the police over time.

In an English multiple Wh-construction with two wh-words, only a higher-located wh-word in a sentence structure is allowed to pre-pose to the Spec of CP, which has been known as a Superiority Effect(SE). Contrary to English, Korean and Japanese have been known not to respect SE, and this phenomenon has been called an Anti-Superiority Effect(ASE). Recent studies including Takita et al(2007) and Harada(2015) among others, however, have suggested exceptional cases to ASE in Japanese, and attempted to explain them through a feature checking mechanism within the Minimalist Program(MP) by Chomsky (1995, 1998). Such explanations of MP, which are based on the abstract feature checking system, have recently been considered just as a kind of technicalia and should be backed up with further empirical evidence. In this paper, I show that there are also exceptions to ASE in Korean, and the exceptional cases to ASE both in Korean and Japanese can be well explainable based on the empirical evidence of Korean/Japanese morpho-syntax.
The effect of self-identity on body shape management

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of self-identity on body shape management for college students. This study used descriptive research to analyze the effects of self-identity, which has contained factors of Subjectivity, Self-acceptance, Future Confidence, Goal Orientation, Scrupulous. The subjects were 404 college students located in C province who were voluntarily agreed. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to verify the effects on self - identity and body shape management. As a result, self - acceptance of self - identity' subcomponents had no effect on body shape management, but future confirmation, goal orientation, Scrupulous, intimacy affects body shape management(P < 0.001). Based on these results, in order to manage the body shape of college students, it is considered effective to present the visible goals and apply the programs that students can do themselves. In addition, it can be seen that it is effective to start body shape management during college group life to enhance intimacy.
XML Parser를 활용한 최신 영화 정보 제공 연구

최근 스마트 폰 사용자가 늘어나면서 스마트 폰에 대한 여러 기능이 추가되고 있고 점점 더 발전되고 있으 며, 실제로도 실생활에 편리함을 위해 도움이 되는 많은 Application이 나오고 있다. 본 연구에서는 보고 싶은 영화 에 대한 정보를 뉴스 사이트 RSS로 XML 파서를 이용하여 영화와 관련된 뉴스기사를 호출하여 리스트로 출력하였 다. 본 안드로이드앱 서버는 Ubuntu로 구축하였으며, 구축한 게시판을 통해 최신 영화정보까지 제공하도록 하였으며, 원하는 정보를 클릭하면 상세정보를 제공하는 메뉴로 배치하였다.
With the increase in the number of smart phone users, smart phones themselves are seeing progress in terms of available functions. Many applications, too, are being developed to increase convenience in daily life. This study issued a list of information on films that the user wishes to see, by using an XML parser to call news articles related to the films in question to the news site RSS. The Android App server was built using Ubuntu and the latest film information was provided through the board that was built. The menu was consisted in a manner so that when the information interested was clicked on, a more detailed set of information became available.
Sijo Literature Therapeutic Research on the Structuring of Emotion-DNA

In this study, Emotion-DNA is constructed in the same way as that the human DNA constructs the human body. Emotion-DNA is copied and translated in the same way as that the human DNA copies and translates itself. We made an attempt to embody the mind by Emotion-DNA like the symbols "A, T, G, C, U" that make up the chromosome of the human body. This is a diagram of the flow of emotions that the human body operates by literary works. These schemes present new directions for the therapeutic analysis of literary works and for the creation of therapeutic literary works. In this study, we analyzed the nominal Emotion-syllables as a framework of the structuring of emotional DNA. As a result, through the structuring of the emotional DNA, it was judged that the therapeutic action of the human body, which is included in the Rated Sijo among the literary works, can be more concrete and powerful than the works of other genres.

The ideology of space development can be classified into three types: national security, scientific inquiry, and commercialism. Korea and Japan have influenced the space development innovation system by different proportions. In the rhetoric analysis of Kim Young Sam, Kim Dae Jung, Roh Moo Hyun, and President Lee Myung Bak, the periods when Korea's space development began in earnest, the pragmatism (commercialism) of strengthening industrial competitiveness through space development has been consistently emphasized. But it also maintains national security and scientific inquiry as ancillary.
A Study on the 3D Contents Production Technology of Taepyungmu

Taepyungmu is a performing art that can be called the most skillful dance among Korean dances. It expresses the meaning of honoring the peace and peacefulness of the country in dance. The construction of 3D stereoscopic digital contents for Taepyungmu is in a series of processes such as 3D recording of intangible cultural properties and implementation of hologram contents. The purpose is to try various possibilities through various technologies and methods, to establish a technical basis of the preservation paradigm change of intangible cultural properties and to present a leading direction to realize real digital cultural properties.
Design of Low Cost Real-Time Audience Adaptive Digital Signage using Haar Cascade Facial Measures

Digital signage is becoming part of daily life across a wide range of visual advertisements segments market used in stations, hotels, retail stores, hotels, etc. The current digital signage system used in market is generally works on limited user interactivity with static contents. In this paper, a new approach is proposed using computer vision based dynamic audience adaptive cost-effective digital signage system. The proposed design uses the Camera attached Raspberry Pi Open source platform to employ the real-time audience interaction using computer vision algorithms to extract facial features of the audience. The real-time facial features are extracted using Haar Cascade algorithm which are used for audience gender specific rendering of dynamic digital signage content. The audience facial characterization using Haar Cascade is evaluated on the FERET database with 95% accuracy for gender classification. The proposed system, developed and evaluated with male and female audiences in real-life environments camera embedded raspberry pi with good level of accuracy.
Flexible Intelligent Exit Sign Management of Cloud-Connected Buildings

Emergencies and disasters can happen any time without any warning, and things can change and escalate very quickly, and often it is swift and decisive actions that make all the difference. It is a responsibility of the building facility management to ensure that a proven evacuation plan in place to cover various worst scenario to handled automatically inside the facility. To mapping out optimal safe escape routes is a straightforward undertaking, but does not necessarily guarantee residents the highest level of protection. The emergency evacuation navigation approach is a state-of-the-art that designed to evacuate human livings during an emergencies based on real-time decisions using live sensory data with pre-defined optimum path finding algorithm. The poor decision on causalities and guidance may apparently end the evacuation process and cannot then be remedied. This paper propose a cloud connected emergency evacuation system model to react dynamically to changes in the environment in emergency for safest emergency evacuation using IoT based emergency exit sign system. In the previous researches shows that the performance of optimal routing algorithms for evacuation purposes are more sensitive to the initial distribution of evacuees, the occupancy levels, and the type and level of emergency situations. The heuristic-based evacuees routing algorithms have a problem with the choice of certain parameters which causes evacuation process in real-time. Therefore, this paper proposes an evacuee routing algorithm that optimizes evacuation by making using high computational power of cloud servers. The proposed algorithm is evaluated via a cloud-based simulator with different “simulated casualties” are then re-routed using a Dijkstra’s algorithm to obtain new safe emergency evacuation paths against guiding evacuees with a predetermined routing algorithm for them to emergency exits . The performance of proposed approach can be iterated as long as corrective action is still possible and give safe evacuation paths and dynamically configure the emergency exit signs to react for real-time instantaneous safe evacuation guidance.
Design of In-situ Self-diagnosable Smart Controller for Integrated Algae Monitoring System

The rapid growth of algae occurs can induce the algae bloom when nutrients are supplied from anthropogenic sources such as fertilizer, animal waste or sewage in runoff the water currents or upwelling naturally. The algae blooms creates the human health problem in the environment as well as in the water resource managers including hypoxic dead zones and harmful toxins and pose challenges to water treatment systems. The algal blooms in the source water in water treatment systems affects the drinking water taste & odor while clogging or damaging filtration systems and putting a strain on the systems designed to remove algal toxins from the source water. This paper propose the emerging In-Situ self-diagnosable smart algae sensing device with wireless connectivity for smart remote monitoring and control. In this research, we developed the In-Site Algae diagnosable sensing device with wireless sensor network (WSN) connectivity with Optical Biological Sensor and environmental sensor to monitor the water treatment systems. The proposed system emulated in real-time on the water treatment plant and functional evaluation parameters are presented as part of the conceptual proof to the proposed research.
Implementation of IoT-based Automatic Inventory Management System

Recent development of IT industry including smart phones and communication technologies has resulted in rapid growth of Internet of Things (IoT) technology and relevant markets. The access to IoT is becoming easier thanks to the boards and IoT products, such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi. Large-scale business sites use IoT technology to manage inventories, but small-scale business sites do not. In the present study, We ported Linux-based Raspbian to Raspberry Pi, It utilizes web server communication to control the Arduino through the application We used a color sensor to figure out the kind of inventory. We also built a database using MySQL to store the data. We used raspberry pi to check whether the proposed system works and apply it to small-scale business.
A Probabilistic Dissimilarity Matching for the DFT-Domain Image Hashing

An image hash, a discriminative and robust summary of an image, should be robust against quality-preserving signal processing steps, while being pairwise independent for perceptually different inputs. In order to improve the hash matching performance, this paper proposes a probabilistic dissimilarity matching. Instead of extracting the binary hash from the query image, we compute the probability that the intermediate hash vector of the query image belongs to each quantization bin, which is referred to as soft quantization binning. The probability is used as a weight in comparing the binary hash of the query with that stored in a database. A performance evaluation over sets of image distortions shows that the proposed probabilistic matching method effectively improves the hash matching performance as compared with the conventional Hamming distance.
A Study of Efficiency Information Filtering System using One-Hot Long Short-Term Memory

In this paper, we propose an extended method of one-hot Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and evaluate the performance on spam filtering task. Most of traditional methods proposed for spam filtering task use word occurrences to represent spam or non-spam messages and all syntactic and semantic information are ignored. Major issue appears when both spam and non-spam messages share many common words and noise words. Therefore, it becomes challenging to the system to filter correct labels between spam and non-spam. Unlike previous studies on information filtering task, instead of using only word occurrence and word context as in probabilistic models, we apply a neural network-based approach to train the system filter for a better performance. In addition to one-hot representation, using term weight with attention mechanism allows classifier to focus on potential words which most likely appear in spam and non-spam collection. As a result, we obtained some improvement over the performances of the previous methods. We find out using region embedding and pooling features on the top of LSTM along with attention mechanism allows system to explore a better document representation for filtering task in general.
Environment Adaptive Emergency Evacuation Route GUIDE through Digital Signage Systems

Nowadays, the most of commercial buildings are build-out with complex architecture and decorated with more complicated interiors of buildings so establishing intelligible escape routes becomes an important case of fire or other emergency in a limited time. The commercial buildings are already equipped with multiple exit signs and these exit signs may create confusion and leads the people into different directions under emergency. This can jeopardize the emergency situation into a chaotic state, especially in a complex layout buildings. There are many research focused on implementing different approached to improve the exit sign system with better visual navigating effects, such as the use of laser beams, the combination of audio and video cues, etc. However the digital signage system based emergency exit sign management is one of the best solution to guide people under emergency situations to escape. This research paper, propose an intelligent evacuation route GUIDE that uses the combination centralized Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) and digital signage for people safety and avoids dangers from emergency conditions. This proposed system applies WSN to detect the environment condition in the building and uses an evacuation algorithm to estimate the safe route to escape using the sensor information and then activates the signage system to display the safe evacuation route instruction GUIDE according to the location the signage system is installed. This paper presented the prototype of the proposed signage system and execution time to find the route with future research directions. The proposed system provides a natural intelligent evacuation route interface for self or remote operation in facility management to efficiently GUIDE people to the safe exit under emergency conditions.
