In recent years, clustering data streams has been actively proposed in the field of data mining. In real-life domains, clustering methods for data streams should effectively monitor the continuous change of a data stream with respect to all the dimensions of the data stream. In this paper, a clustering method with frequency prediction of data elements is proposed. The incoming statistics of data elements in the monitoring range are maintained. For the range of elements with high density, the range is partitioned to detect the detailed boundary of clusters. To identifying the recent change of a data stream quickly, the support of elements is carefully monitored and predicted to determine partitioned ranges to become clusters. Considering the change of the data stream, a threshold is adaptively controlled by a prediction mechanism. By predicting the change of supports, the on-going change of a data stream can be reflected in real-time. The proposed method is comparatively analyzed by a series of experiments to identify its various characteristics.

Many applications using the Bluetooth technology for the revitalization of smart phones have emerged, and hacking these applications has caused vulnerability of wireless networks. Bluetooth is authenticated through unique address value of each device. However, hackers can attack the information of unique address value in the process. Despite this situation, many people do not know anything about the attack. To prevent this, experts are encouraging to turn off unused network services. However, in their proposed method, many users cannot perform it properly. Therefore, in this paper, a context-aware based algorithm for prevention of Bluetooth device attack was designed so that users have better security options in any situation for digital signage.

The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is the main protocol behind Voice over IP (VoIP). However, it does not provide authentication, which may lead to possible impersonation and eavesdropping threats. Negotiating keys using digital certificates may help secure the channel, but this method incurs extra maintenance cost. Verbal authentication utilizes the real-time nature of VoIP but it requires users to read and manually compare the authentication code. This study proposes a session identifier framework based on the Modified Vector Quantization (MVQ) method on real-time video frames for video communication in VoIP. After the selected image frames are averaged and quantized, the output of the MVQ process is a set of image metrics that serves as pre-shared keys for key agreement. The framework is certificate-less and users do not need to read the authentication code to the other user. The implementation is evaluated for accuracy and robustness towards network noise and frame conditions.

In this this paper, an IP driver block was designed and simulation conducted for an AMOLED display which supplies power as selected by users. The IP driver design focused on the regulation of output power, due to the OLED characteristic for diode electric current according to voltage, to be activate by pulse-skipping mode (PSM) under low loads, and 1.5 MHz pulse-width modulation (PWM) for medium/high loads. The IP driver was designed to eliminate ringing effects appearing from the dis- continue mode (DCM) of the step-up converter. Ringing effects destroy the power switch within the IC, or increase EMI to the surrounding elements. The IP driver design minimized this through a ringing killer circuit. Mobile applications were considered to enable true shut-down capability by designing the standby current to fall below 1uA for disable.

With the increasing number of diabetes patients, the cost for monitoring the patients is generating a great financial burden. In this paper, we present a three-tier network architecture which facilitates healthcare monitoring for the diabetes patients automatically. We also proposed two flowcharts for our packet transmit based connection (PTC) method and received signal strength based reconnection deliver (RSSRD) method. Once powered-up the coordinator of the wireless body area network will use PTC method to connect the base station immediately. On the other hand, the RSSRD method provides an effective way to enable sustaining monitoring for diabetes patients.

Sound sources used for broadcasting on the air are usually produced and delivered in different levels of sound volume, thus inevitably creating the loudness/imbalance problem among various sound sources. This study examines the loudness of TV news anchorwomen’s voice and the sound of commercial advertisements on the Internet using Absolute Sound Level, to evaluate the current status and identify problems in the sound-mastering process. The results showed that the three most famous broadcasting companies in Korea had different sound levels while delivering their programs on the air. The use of sound compressor/limiter by producers of commercial advertisements on the Internet can be easily found where the sound level of a common dialogue reaches to the maximum level, such as the climax of heavy -metal music, in order to get the audience’s attention. On the Internet, this loudness/imbalance problem gets more serious since we have two different sound sources on the same web page, one for a loud advertisement and the other for a relatively quiet personal video/audio clip.

Health care task planning process is fundamentally a collaborative task that requires the participation of many health care professionals with different skills working simultaneously on same cases. However, most recent healthcare research has focused on methods mainly based on communication, rather than collaboration supports. We followed then a collaborative-based planning approach which constitutes an evolution of planning environments toward new shared workspaces supporting collaboration. Our work led us first, to analyse the related tasks in an Algerian maternity ward in order to highlight the vital collaborative medical tasks that need to be modelled. The following sections outline basic design concepts of our mobile collaborative planning system, which is designed to provide a flexible group interaction support for care coordination and continuity.

Network Coding (NC) is a new paradigm for network communication. In network coding, intermediate nodes create new packets by algebraically combining ingress packets and send it to its neighbor node by broadcast manner. NC has rapidly emerged as a major research area in information theory due to its wide applicability to communication through real networks. Network coding is expected to improve throughput and channel efficiency in the wireless multi-hop network. Many researches have been carried out to employ network coding to wireless ad-hoc network. In this paper, we proposed a dynamic queue management to improve coding opportunistic to enhance efficiency of NC. In our design, intermediate nodes are buffering incoming packets to encode queue. We expect that the proposed algorithm shall improve encoding rate of network coded packet and also reduce end to end latency. From the simulation, the proposed algorithm achieved better performance in terms of coding gain and packet delivery rate than static queue management scheme.

In this paper, we analyzed insider access pattern to documents for monitoring insider misuse in the document control domain (DCD). We optimized insider access pattern to documents using apriori algorithm adding time and click ratio. Insiders have typical access patterns among related documents when performing their duties. When insider misuse occurs in the DCD, it can be detected by the typical access pattern of insider. We added time and click ratio to apriori algorithm for improving the accuracy of insider access patterns. Time means the activation time of the document. Click ratio represents the frequency of click change within the document. The proposed algorithm can remove access patterns with the low reliability and reduce the false detection rate when detecting insider misuse.
