Social changes due to globalization have required a new leadership. The new leadership is based on the morality, trust, and humane approach. While industrial society was dominated by managed leadership, modern society will required organic and humanistic leadership. The purpose of this article is to search essential conditions for new desirable leadership of public sector in the 21c society. First, leader can create a new vision and encourage their members to share it. Second, leader can encourage members to find worth doing and usefulness through their participation. Third, leader should encourage a high level of participation and involve- ment on the members. Fourth, leader should create a change of organization and members.

The objective of this study is to discover the relationship between antecedents of brand personality and brand personality and consequences of brand personality in An-Dong as tourist destination. This study is used SPSS version 12.0, and worked Factor analysis, Multiple Regression analysis. Empirical results are as follows; First, brand personality is positively related to trust and awareness/association. Second, trust and awareness/association are positively related to loyalty. Third, trust is positively related awareness/association. But brand personality is not positively related to Loyalty. As brand personality is valuable asset to tourist destination, marketers or administrators are requested to strengthen advertising and images of sub-destinations. As brand personality of An-dong, Gyeongsangbuk-do increases, more foreign visitors are expected to visit this area. This study's limitations are regional narrowness and statistics limitation. In the future, These will be complemented.

In these days, there is a phenomenon that Korea public cultures are vary popular in east asia, we call that Han-Ryu. Han-Ryu is leaded mainly by the public culture contents such as TV-dramas, movies, and songs, and Han-Ryu makes high added values by the contents' function of 'one-source multi-use'. Recently Japanese have been creating new patterns of 'media detour tourism' that means visiting the locations to confirm the image which previously shaped through Han-Ryu such as dramas and movies in Japan. Gyeongju tourism is reaching the limit of development because of it's high independence on cultural inheritance course tourism and on public cultural performance for visitors. Therefore Gyeongju have to form Gyeongju-Ryu which means a phenomenon that Korea cultural contents attract explosive population in east asia. The formation of Gyeongju-Ryu will make Japanese visit to Gyeongju to feel the impressed image pre-made through media contents in Japan. In order to form Gyeongju-Ryu, at first, Gyeongju also have to induce locations of dramas and movies to Gyeongju, and have to make drama or movie which will lead Gyeongju-Ryu in strategic terms containing planning, marketing, financing, and distributing.

Many researcher contended that the tourism types of modern society has changed to the experience tourism from the seeing tourism recently. Therefore attempts to add experience factors in the original tour program has been introduced in case of culture tourism. So the purpose of this study is to the presentation of the planning plans that centering around literary works of Dong-ri, Kim and Mok-weol, Park in Gyeongju. So first of all for establishing of this study, we examined the characteristics of tourism business and tourism in Gyeongju and then observed the case of Pyeongchang-gun centering around Hyo-seok, Lee, finally suggested the planning plans that can be shaped for literary workse xperience tourism of Dong-ri, Kim and Mok-weol, Park in Gyeongju.

This article focuses upon measuring Kyongju City's social capital through a questionnaire survey. Despite of many different theoretical perspectives, it is assumed that social capital consists of trust, norm, and communication. Findings and policy suggestions are as follow: the Gyongju community is a relatively closed society. The residents communicate with only immediate relatives and friends. They do not much trust people outside their blood families and school groups. These characteristics of the City' social capital are different from those of most western societies. It is suggested that institutional and cultural efforts are asked to raise the community's openness and mobilize the community's strengths in order to achieve sustainable development.

During the period of decentralization and innovation, RIS(Regional Innovation System) is needed for a region to build its own Innovation System in order to gain competitive power. It would be possible for a region to continue to seek sustainable growth only if it can come up with new information constantly by helping to create and spread its own project planning ability and drive ability innovation. Above all, as an innovator, coordinator, facilitator and linker, RIC(Reginal Innovation Council) in Kyeong-ju should build up its internal capacity. In order to improve efficiency of running the Innovation Council we should also hurry to construct the infrastructure, such as build up of office work. and By activating the support system of Section Council, we should lay the groundwork for the task - the spread of innovation atmosphere in the region and the buildup of the capacity in the regional innovation council. We should make constant efforts to make Keyong-ju unique by learning and educating incessant innovation as well as strengthening promotions.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the factors of "non-official medical expenses" in Kyeongju, which are defined as the monetary costs that are used to improve health or to heal disease, but are not captured by the official medical expense statistic. The non-official medical expense includes the monetary expenditure associated with the underground transactions of medical goods and services, as well as traditional treatment which is not yet scientifically proven effective, including "alternative medical treatment". The data used in this study was collected by the survey on 600 individuals in Kyeongju area. Logit analysis shows that the experience of having disease in the past and the age are the most influential factors that increase the probability of having the non-official medical expenses. there is a tendency that the older people becomes the more dependent they are on the non-official medical treatment. The result of regression analysis indicates that the experience of having been hospitalized, sex, and income are the significant factors that explain how much people would spend on the non-official medical treatment.

Examinations of purification process of untreated water in river goes through to the tap water and the treatment of wastewater has been studied. Also the contamination factors of the raw water has been discussed. Especially hot issues recently is about viruses in water, where existent various viruses, and there are very important estimation, analysis and standard of toxicity of unknown viruses. On the other hand, water and our health has been explained in this paper, shortly very important nine indicating points that what kinds of water is the best condition water of our health. As results, It is necessary to get various polices on treatment of tap water by self-government, and also need to get new improvement of water quality such as biochemical techniques, especially new techniques for the bio degradation of algae.

With the result of physical stamina examinations in Korea and other countries, I am going to propose a health physical stamina examination system which is scientific and safe and can be applied to the aged. The purpose of this study is to: (1) apply the Reggio Emilia Approach to the Sungduk the Great's Bell (SGB) project and examine how children's graphic representation changes through the method of multiple symbolization; (2) to analyze how children's perceptional ability effects their graphic representation. To do so, the study studies the issue through the following perspective: a. By analyzing the relationship between the shared knowledge acquired through group discussion of the SGB and the resulting graphic representation by the children; b. By analyzing the relationship between the perceived knowledge acquired through the simulation and the resulting graphic representation; c. By analyzing the relationship between the constructed knowledge acquired by experiencing SGB and the resulting graphic representation; d. By analyzing the relationship between the constructed knowledge acquired through expansion and the resulting cross-modal representation. The six children who participated in 'SGB' project were randomly chosen out of thirty students from the five-year-old class of Saehwarang Kindergarten located in Gyeongju City, Korea. This project was flexibly conducted for twenty-four to thirty minutes a day, three days a week for four weeks starting from June 1, 2005. The methods of the multiple symbolization were: (a) discussion; (b) simulation; (c) experience and (d) expansion, which were sequently applied in the order named. Going through each process of symbolization, the children shared knowledge of the theme, constructed it deeply and widely, and showed their interest in how the graphic representation evolved out of that knowledge. Also, as the cycle of symbolization progressed through each stage, an analysis was conducted on the children's detailed perception of each theme and how this was realized in high-level graphic representation. From this analysis, the following conclusion was reached regarding the children's graphic representation: First, with respect to the relationship between their shared knowledge and graphic representation, in the process of discussing the theme of SGB, children in small groups discussed their shared knowledge mostly through graphic representation. However, differences were found among the children. Second, with respect to the relationship between perceived knowledge and graphic representation, the children represented in detail what they perceived through observation of the presented material. Therefore, simulation is a sound learning method for developing a detailed perception of a theme. However, based on the fact that certain children may also focus their graphic representation on one specific aspect of the theme, one can deduct that the children are conducting cognitive focused judgment. Third, with respect to the relationship between the knowledge accumulated through the SGB experience and graphic representation, the children graphically represented the knowledge acquired through direct observation of the bell at the pavilion. Thus, it proves direct experience is an active learning method for acquiring knowledge. Fourth, with respect to the relationship between the knowledge accumulated through expansion stage of SGB and cross-modal representation, an explanation of the bell sound and the history of the SGB was provided to the children. The children each produced a different visual representation of this non-visual experience. Thus, it provides proof of the children's creative thinking. Through the above four symbolization methods, the children produced graphic representations of the theme for the SGB project. Also, through the non-visual experiences such as the explanation of SGB's background, the children were able to produce creative representations of the experience. Thus, it may be concluded that the Reggio Emilia Approach is a highly effective method for the children's thematic learning. Further, during detailed learning process of SGB, the children expressed admiration for the cultural heritage left by their forefathers. They appeared to have gained an awareness of its cultural value and mystique.

To experience school violence during adolescence causes to hinder personality development and prevents students from obtaining proper values. The purpose of this paper is to compare and analyze the understanding of both teachers and students about school violence and then to suggest strategies which may be helpful to prevent or eradicate school violence. The result of the study is summarized like this. Boys are likely to experience and witness school violence more often than girls. The frequency rates are higher in the order of boys' middle school, boys' and girls' middle school, and girls' middle school. The types of violence which students have experienced are listed from top to bottom in the order of bullying, lingual and psychological violence, trivial assault, and extortion of money or other things. I can suggest some advices on the basis of the study. First, there should be an institutional device or system which protects the students who hint or share the information about school violence so that those students do not have trouble having their school life with other students. Second, students should be educated with some programs which can help them feel and act more gently. Third, teachers should pay more attention to students.
