I found three main issues in the education and child-care for young children in Gyeongju. They are the low birth rate, the lack of educational opportunities for children in town (eup or myeon) and the problems caused by the ualistic theory on the education and child-care for young children. Therefore this study concludes as follows to resolve the problems as above. First of all, we need a change of system of popular attitudes towards marriage, childbirth and reorganization of system of child support payments that is considered by the practical level of government. Secondly, we need a program that is continuously monitored by school vice-commissioner and educare teachers to solve the lack of educational opportunities for children in town (eup or myeon).
