This study is based on the landscape resources survey that has been done in the historical and cultural city of Gyeongju, to figure out representing landscape stronghold of that city. These landscape strongholds are defined as a connection of superior landscape which shows the characteristics of the city or also defined as the city with great potential.
This study has been done to suggest a plan for the landscape strongholds which was selected through the research of the characteristics of the landscape resources, the survey of citizens of their thoughts on the superior landscape, the research from the state of the arts, and by giving
them the value according to the categories.
