The purpose of this research is to analyze the rationality of the location policy making in three national important affaires those were all planned in Gyeongju. We can find the interesting facts in this paper that the economic rationality and political rationality on location policy making for the radioactive waste disposal facilities and proton based engineering facilities were high, but the economic rationality and political rationality on the location policy making for headquarters of Korean Water and Atomic Energy Company was low. Therefore I suggested that policy making about the location for the headquarters of Korean Water and Atomic Energy Company would like to be decided again in future.

Recently, the age of localization is an age of competition between local governments and city design. It has major influence upon city competition. In effect, The image of the a city acts as an integral factor. Gyeongju, as a historic city, has to develop itself as an elegant city, not only in dignity or image but also in establishing brand identification while maintaining its natural features in order to achieve city competition. Therefore the importance of the enhancement of city's image, a street walk and a signboard improvement cannot be neglected. On this point, this study focuses on signboard improvement using specific area designation in order to improve the city's dignity and image. Moreover, it also researches a local ordinance to regulate outdoor advertisements of excellent local goverments and two Japanese cities such as Kanazawa and Nara city. This comprehensive study recommends to revise and improve the local ordinance of outdoor advertisements in Gyeongju in order to beautify and strengthen the image of the city by the improvement of the signboard culture.

This study lays its purpose on identifying whether evaluations on medical and aesthetic tourism vary according to nationality, countries which have been traveled for medical purposes, the number of times of medical traveling, experience in other countries, age, and the purpose of medical and aesthetic tourism. In order to do this, the researcher conducted both literature and empirical study, namely, conducted empirical study by using evaluation items on medical and aesthetic tourism derived from literature study. In sum, the following results were derived. First, as a result of conducting independent t-test in order to analyze differences between groups by nationality. Second, as a result of analyzing differences between age groups by countries they have been traveled for medical and aesthetic purposes. Third, as a result of analyzing differences in evaluation scores between groups according to their experience in medical and aesthetic traveling. Fourth, as a result of analyzing differences between groups according to their experience in medical and aesthetic traveling in other countries.. Fifth, as a result of analyzing differences between age groups. Sixth, as a result of analyzing differences between groups according to the purpose of usee.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between tourist destination brand equity and its antecedents, advertising, tourism price and attributes sought of tourist destination, and the relationship between tourist destination brand equity and its consequences, tourist destination loyalty, and the relationship between antecedents of tourist destination brand equity and tourist destination loyalty in Gyeongju. The research findings were first, advertisement, tourism price and attributes sought of tourist destination affected tourist destination brand equity and tourist destination loyalty, and second, tourist destination brand equity influenced tourist destination loyalty. Therefore, it can be said that, to attract more tourists, marketers of tourist destinations should make good impressions on advertising, tourism price, and attributes sought and gain better appreciation of components of tourist destination brand equity. Consequently, the better evaluation of tourists on those variables means the more intention of them to revisit a particular destination. It is concluded that if local governments take practical actions based on the results of this study to enhance their own brand equity, they could expect various positive outcomes on their destination marketing.

The purpose of this study is to provide a basic material on the characteristics of the tendency that the middle aged population shows on a neighborhood sports facility to prepare for their senescence as being faced with the ageing society. The conclusions drawn from this study are as follows : 1. The Subjective Health Related Factors of the Middle Aged Population With regard to the subjective health related factors that the middle aged have, 90.1% of the total respondents answered that they were very healthy or at least above average and they picked a regular exercise and both physical fitness and promotion of physical strength as a measure to get healthiness and as the most significant effects of exercises respectively. Also, as 88.9% of the respondents considered that the physical activities are the most essential factor for fit physical strength, it is noticeable that the importance of physical activities emerges remarkably in the middle age. 2. The Preferred Physical Activity Factors by the Middle Aged Population With regard to the physical activities of the middle aged, it is shown that 77.3% exercise regularly and mountain climbing (25.9%) is their favorite on, followed by badminton and weight training (12.5%), and golf (10.3%). Regarding the participatory factors for physical activities, they picked maintenance and promotion of physical fitness (53.9%), invigoration and promotion of physical strength (13.1%), and weight control (12.5%) in order.
