- The river is origin of human historical culture and precious resource of urban ecological environment. It played a role of precious source of drinking water and of food supply in human survival, and essential resource which is necessarily needed to industrial working place. Also, because the river was used as main traffic route of human civilization development, the origin site of human civilization always had rises and falls along the river.
