The main objective of this research demonstrates the worldly raising issue of creating the 'capital of culture' based on the historical experience of constructing the capital of Shilla Dynasty Capital. This would recover the historical city while also providing new opportunities to infill the culture of the city. In this research I focused on restoring Wolseong Palace which was the main place of the construction of capital Shilla, the temple of HwangRyong, the South-North main road, and the framework of the grid-iron system to illustrate the factors that can be regarded as creating a new culture of the city, which is called a 'capital of culture' or a 'creative city'. The research was carried out through a drawing of the three principles to confirm the cultural values; the three principles I applied here are city planning, architectural skill, and landscape Design. To develop this important culture of the city, I compared varied trends and strategies of raising values of the culture of the capital city. The ways to raise the value of the historical capital city are concerned with the basic ideas and approaches to specialize the culture of the world cultural city, the excavation of heritage sites, the increasing flow of cultural class, the creative ways to promote cultural industry, and the strategy of forming the cultural City. Also, to raise the urban culture foundation, the strategy planning is fundamentally necessary: such as a strategy for the formation of an open community environment and urban space and the restoration of key measures of physical space; strategies in ways to spread urban cultural class and strategies for creative industry development planning.

Since 10 years have passed after self-supporting programs's Introduction, It is important to assess self-supporting programs's problems and outcome for the self-supporting and independence of the low-income group in Gyeongju. The purpose of this study is to search self-supporting programs's current status and problems in Gyeongju and to analyze survey on the low-income group in Gyeongju. and then to suggest tasks to improve self-supporting programs On this point, this study focuses on self-consciousness of the person directly involved, Solidarity of Commnity, Government's support and institutional reform to improve self-supporting programs. Only after these three factor's balance, We can accomplish a great deal in self-supporting programs.

The purpose of this study was to get nano-analysis on heavy metals and volatile organic compounds of river water located in the Hyeongsan River by using of ICP and GC/MS. In this research it has been analyzed the contents of eight heavy metal (Hg, Cd, As, Zn, Cu, Fe, Pb and Cr6+) and seven VOCs (PCE, TCE, 1,1,1-TCE, benzene, Toluene, ethylbenzene and Xylene) of river water as specific pollutants for health in order to recognize be suited to as drinking water, had assigned twentyfour river water place in the Hyeongsan River. It has been shown that basic data of minerals components, micro inorganic materials, biochemical oxygen demand, dissolved oxygen, water temperature, pH, suspended solid, electric conductivity, coliform group. The results of this study are as following ; It has been shown that all of them generally were suited to as standard of river water with the exception of total escherichia coli. group for river water in the Hyeongsan River. Also some heavy metal, that is, nano unit amounts of asenic and zinc were detected by inductively coupled plasma method, but the rest of them were not detected. On the other hand volatile organic compounds materials were not detected at all. Finally this study must mentioned as following; river water places in the Hyeongsan River has been relatively not much are compared with other cities, really many people have positive opinion on available of this places because of very closed distance from people's living place and amounts of water quantity are very much to get it. Therefore the expansion of equipments on emergency water feeding which ground water are very clean and safe are good business for life convenience of regional citizens. Therefore it has been shown that suggested alternatives on the risk assessment for human being health.

This research was carried out in order to survey the current state of the care givers in the formal service sectors and to provide policy implications for developing care workforce management system in Gyeongju. In this research, a survey of 195 care givers in the long-term care facilities for the elderly were carried out in order to find out their current state involved in the job. Lastly, the regression analysis showed that the socio-demographic characteristics, work conditions, job characteristics and workforce management characteristics had statistically significant impact on the attitudes towards the stability of the job, the intention of quitting and job satisfaction. The age, type of work settings, and certificates had impact on the stability of the job, whereas the type of work settings, social insurance, training satisfaction had positive impact on the job satisfaction of the care workers. The results of this research suggest that there is a need to establish an adequate workforce development and management system for long-term care of the elderly in Gyeongju. More in-depth and on-going study of the care givers are needed in order to develop training and career development programs. Information centers that could function as the clearinghouse for the data base of care givers at the local levels may be helpful in coordinating the care givers and the consumers. This center could provide information and referral services and training services as well. The local governments need to play leading roles in experimenting with pilot-projects which respond to the local needs of providing a stable and qualified workforce that are essential in creating high quality and sustainable long-term care system in Gyeongju.

This study aims to evaluate the practical strategies established for the downtown revitalization of Gyeongju city. This study reviews previous researches about downtown revitalization and examines major plans established for the downtown revitalization of Gyeongju city. For example this study scrutinizes major public plans such as, 2020 Urban Master Plan, Master Plan for the Establishment of Gyeongju Historical and Cultural City, Master Plan for the Revitalization of Downtown Economy and etc. Based on the findings from the analyses this study propose public considerations and strategical approaches for the enhancement of the downtown revitalization efforts of the Gyeongju city.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between college student as pre-service early childhood teacher's decision making, and professionalism recognition in Gyeongju. The data was collected by questionnaires method from 219 college students. The instruments were college student decision making and professionalism recognition. The results of the study were as follows : (1) Pre-service early childhood teachers' decision making meaningfully related to their professionalism recognition positively. (2) Early childhood teachers' decision making has influence on their professionalism recognition. In summary, preparatory early childhood teachers to be good early childhood education teachers, decision making has significant implication for professionalism recognition.
