Purpose : The purpose of this study is the case study on the effect of trunk stabilization exercises for Adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis to improve spine alignment and pain. Method : The pain levels before and after exercise used VAS were assessed total twice, a spinal alignment was measured using Formetric 4D. Result : Trunk stabilization exercise during eight weeks was effective for scoliosis angle, improved the pelvic torsion and trunk length, decrease pain of AIS(Adolescents idiopathic scoliosis)

Purpose : We are focusing on diminishing the fall probability of elderly by serving them Fall Prevention Exercise Program(FPEP) to discipline proper physical positions and lifestyles. Method : For total three months from Jan. 2014 to April 2014, we had applied the FPEP for high-risks(n=16), low-risks(n=8), a elderly(n=24) hospitalized patients in Y Hospital. Result : After implementing the FPEP, falls did not occur in low-risk fall patients, but in high-risks. Falls happened more in medium and high exercise performance group rather than low exercise performance group. Falls took in places at restroom, bed, and automatic door, in order. Conclusion : It is necessary to expand the Fall Prevention Exercise Program continuously for all types of patients including both low and high-risk fall patients.

Objective: The study was conducted for elastic band exercise program using the feedback that has effectiveness on balance ability in elders. Methods: The participants were randomly divided into 2 group: elastic band exercise group(n=10), control group(n=10). To evaluated the balance ability of exercise, it was evaluated by using Korean Berg balance scale(BBS), time up and go test(TUG), functional reach test(FRT), timed walking test. The data was analysis using a paired t-test and independent t-test to determine the statistical significance. Results: The results of this study between BBS, TUG and timed walking test in experimental group had statistically significant difference rather than control group(p<0.05). Conclusion: As a result, we identified that elastic band exercising programme using feedback has positively influenced the balancing performance of elders and proved that this can be the basis to clinically prevent the falls.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to compare of improvement of pulmonary functions by using respiratory intervention program to normal adults for four weeks. Methods: Thirty students (Male : 6, Female : 12) were randomly placed to three groups: ten students in the free exercise group (Control Group; CG), ten students in Feedback breathing Equipment exercise Group (FEG), and ten students in Diaphragmatic respiration combined Pursed lips breathing exercise (DPG). Vital capacity was measured before and after experiments to check improvement of pulmonary function. The control and experimental groups were implemented for two times twenty minutes a day and four times a week for four weeks in total. Results: The findings are as follows. First, there were statistically significant differences of FVC, FEV1, MVV in experimental group. Second, there were significantly difference depending on respiratory invention program. FEG group is the most effective exercise program. Conclusion: These findings confirmed that the respiratory intervention program is effective in improving pulmonary functions of normal adults.

PURPOSE : The purpose of this study was to perform, please refer to the change of the balance ability through the muscle strengthening of the non-dominant side of the lower extremities. METHOD : Pre-targeted ultrasound was through the more than 10% of the thickness difference between healthy adults 20 people quadriceps femoris strength training in the four weeks after the non-dominant side of the balance through the balance master the ability to measure changed. RESULT : 1) When compared to checks and balances in the stability limit movement in Reaction time, Endpoint excursions, Directional Control has improved the dynamic balance ability. 2) The weight shift of before / after was no change, but it change to the left / right weight shift in check of dynamic weight shift, there was a significant difference in on-axis Velocity Slow. 3) The dynamic balance ability based on sex, there was no significant difference in balance ability. In BMI, there was a statistically significant difference between overweight and normal weight. CONCLUSION : It was found to improve the dynamic balance ability through the strengthening of the non-dominant quadriceps femoris exercises effects on the weight transfer dynamic before/after. Thus, the strengthening of the quadriceps femoris exercising non-dominant side and found to had a positive impacts partially balance ability.

Purpose : A Study on the falls and prevent falls through the study of literature from the necessity and the prevention of procedure is designed to find a way. Method : Analyze the related papers. Result : (1)Percentage falls is ① Somewhere in 30 to 50 % of older adults, experienced the falls. ② Community appeared higher than in the fall rate is 40 to 80 percent of hospitals or nursing agencies. ③ Women there is a high occurrence of falls than men. ④ The occurrence of the more difficult economic situation, fall is high. ⑤ There is a higher occurrence of cases that have experienced in falls. ⑥ If there is a disease, have a higher occurrence of falls. ⑦ The environmental problem is happening to increase the occurrence (2)Fall cause classification ; Should be categorized into groups to control of the causes of falls. Therefore, physical, psychological, environmental, classified by environmental factors. (3)The problems caused by falls : 65 percent of the fall an old man's suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, fractures, sprains, contusions, lacerations, abrasions, damaged. (5)Prevention methods : It was exercise and music, rhythm, education programs, a combination of effective. Conclusion : Evaluation of the possible fall on a regular basis. And the development of any program that combines rhythmic movements and interesting education enhances its effectiveness.
