Purpose: This study aimed to identify factors affecting the intention to donate organs among high school students. Methods: Data were collected using a questionnaire to measure the knowledge, attitudes, and intention regarding organ donation among 382 high school students in three high schools in one city in December 2018. Data analysis using SPSS 20.0 included a chi-squared test, the Mann-Whitney U test and a logistic regression model. Results: 69.9% of the subjects responded they had intention to donate organs. The factors influencing their organ donation intention were interest in organ donation (odds ratio: OR=3.49, p<.001), knowing the meaning of brain death (OR=7.79, p<.001), acceptive attitude (OR=4.35, p<.001), and exclusive attitude (OR=0.34, p<.001). Conclusion: Organ donation intention is an important factor in the interest in, knowledge of, and positive attitude towards organ donation. High school students should be educated to improve their knowledge and positive attitude regarding organ donation to increase their intention to donate organs.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine academic stress, social support and learning management system(LMS) utilization satisfaction of learners attending online graduate schools and understand the factors influencing their academic persistence. Methods: The participants were students of K online graduate school and the data of 143 students, in total, were collected from April to May in 2019. For data analysis, frequency analysis, x2 test, t-test, F-test, Pearson’s correlation and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS ver. 23. Results: Academic stress, social support, and LMS utilization satisfaction were associated with academic persistence of online graduate students. The multiple regression analysis of the factors influencing academic persistence showed that the model was significant (p<.001) with an explanatory power of 23% and that significant factors influencing it were academic stress (β=-.23, p=.002), LMS utilization satisfaction (β=.31, p<.001) and jobs (β=.23, p=.002). Conclusion: Although the online graduate students’ level of academic persistence was high, it is required to develop strategies to alleviate their academic stress and increase LMS utilization rate in order to increase their persistence to academic success. In addition, it is necessary to provide the foundation on which the utilization of major knowledge regarding jobs can be enhanced, reflecting the characteristics of online graduate students. Furthermore, this study is expected to contribute to the extension of professional and advanced education in response to social needs by developing a variety of online high education learning systems beyond time and space.

Purpose: This study was a descriptive methodological study to develop protocols for school health practice to manage health problems of primary school students effectively. Methods: The protocols were verified by 12 experts and 10 health teachers, respectively, to secure a two-step content validity. Results: The main 8 health problems of primary school students were headache, abdominal pain, musculo-skeletal, respiratory, circulatory, ophthalmic, and oral-dental problems, and fever. The developed protocols consist of 8 algorithms, which are to help decision making in the course of assessing health problems and to identify and link related factors and associated symptoms, 8 school nursing records based on the Omaha classification system, and the list of 441 links between nursing assessment and nursing intervention. Conclusion: The use of the protocols is expected to make it easier for health teachers to apply the nursing process in solving the health problems of primary school students and supporting the rational decision making process, eventually improving the quality of primary school health. Repeated studies for protocol standardization as well as studies dealing with various health problems not included in the protocols should be performed for the development of school health practice protocols.

연구목적. 본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 e헬스 리터러시와 건강증진행위의 수준과 e헬스 리터러시가 건강증진행위에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 대학생들의 건강증진행위 향상을 위한 중재를 개발하는데 기초자료를 제공하고자 함이다. 연구방법. 연구대상자는 19세 이상의 K도에 소재한 일개 대학교에 재학 중인 대학생들이었으며, 총 242명이 구조화된 설문조사에 응답하였다. 자료수집은 2018년 9월에 이루어졌다. 대학생의 e헬스 리터러시는 eHealth Literacy 도구를, 건강증진행위는 Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile (HPLP-Ⅱ)를 번안한 도구를 사용하여 측정하였다. e헬스 리터러시, 건강증진행위와의 관계는 Pearson's correlation으로 분석 하였고, 대학생의 e헬스 리터러시가 건강증진행위에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 다중 회귀분석을 시행하였다. 연구결과. 연구대상자들은 중간정도 수준의 e헬스 리터러시 수준을 보였으며, 하위 영역 중에서는 기능적 영역의 점수가 가장 높았고 비판적 영역에서 가장 낮았다. 여학생의 e헬스 리터러시가 남학생보다 높았고, 보건의료전공 학생들이 비보건의료전공 학생들보다 높았다. 건강증진행위는 중하 수준이었으며, 대인관계 영역에서 가장 높았고, 건강책임 영역에서 가장 낮았다. 건강증진행위는 e헬스 리터러시, 건강관심도, 주관적 건강상태, 일주일 운동 시간과 유의한 상관관계가 있음이 나타났다. 다중회귀분석 결과 대학생들의 건강증진행위에 영향을 미치는 요인은 높은 수준의 e헬스 리터러시(β=.18, p <.001), 건강관심도(β=.33, p <.001), 일주일 운동시간(β=.18∼.23, p <.001)과 주관적 건강상태(β=.17∼.18, p=.007∼.031)인 것으로 나타났다. 결론. 대학생들을 건강증진행위에 참여시키기 위해서는 비판적 영역의 e헬스 리터러시 역량을 향상시키고 운동시간을 증가시키는 중재가 필요하다.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of eHealth literacy on health promoting behaviors, thereby providing basic data for the development of interventions for health promoting behaviors among university students. Methods: Data were collected from 242 university students aged 19 and over in a university located in K province in South Korea. Participants responded to structured questionnaires in September 2018. eHealth literacy and health promoting behaviors were measured by eHealth Litaracy (EHL) and a translated version of the Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile (HPLP-II), respectively. The correlation between eHealth literacy and health promoting behaviors were analyzed using Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analysis was carried out to examine the influence of eHealth literacy on health promoting behaviors. Results: The participants had a moderate level of eHealth literacy with the greatest score recorded in the sub-domain of functional eHealth literacy and the lowest in the sub-domain of critical eHealth literacy. Female students and students who majored in healthcare had higher levels of eHealth literacy than male students and those with non-healthcare majors. The degree of health promoting behaviors was moderate or lower with the highest score being in the sub-domain of interpersonal support and the lowest in the sub-domain of health responsibility. Health promoting behaviors had significant relationships with eHealth literacy, exercise hours, subjective health status, and health concerns. Multiple regression analyses revealed that the participants engaged more in health promoting behaviors when they had greater eHealth literacy (β=.18, p<.001), interest in their own health (β=.33, p<.001), exercise hours (β=.18~.23, p<.001), and subjective health status (β=.17~.18, p=.007~.031). Conclusion: In order to facilitate health promoting behaviors of university students, interventions for health promoting behaviors need to be developed including strategies to improve competencies relevant to critical eHealth literacy and to increase exercise hours.

Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the factors that influence sleep satisfaction among adolescents with Allergic Rhinitis in Korea. Methods: Data were obtained from 21,480 subjects who completed the 2018 14th Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey. The data were analyzed using complex samples logistic regression with PASW 18.0. Results: The factors influencing sleep satisfaction were gender, grade, academic achievement, economic status, living arrangement, physical activity, drinking, smoking, stress, depression, perceived health status and perceived body image. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop interventions considering general and health-related characteristics in order to improve sleep satisfaction among adolescents with allergic rhinitis.
