This study attempted to analyze hair design based on statements of the design forum. Specifically, haircut, coloring and styling were analyzed against men’s hairdesign from 1997-2004 during which Pivot Point Design Forum was held in the Republic of Korea. For this, this study investigated the recording of coding sheets for haircut, coloring and hairstyling by 3 analyzers who completed the Pivot Point haircut course with Ph.D. degree or higher qualification. Regarding data analysis, frequency analysis for descriptive analysis and cross-tabulation analysis for correlations were performed, using SPSS 18.0. Then, the study results found the followings: First, in terms of haircut, increased layer and graduation style were mostly found for front hair and side hair respectively. For back over hair and back middle hair, in contrast, graduation haircut was popular. For back under hair, a solid mixed style was usually adopted. Second, regarding hair color, hair coloring was mostly wanted. In term of hair color and coloring method, warm tone color and dyeing with the color brighter than current hair color were wanted. Third, regarding hairstyling, the interior area including fringe was concentrated. Furthermore, a casual pomade style was completed with mild curls, using fingers. Lastly, according to analysis on haircut trends by period, a haircut on the fringe in the bang has become more popular, and diverse dyeing methods have been used. The said results confirm that unique hairstyles are created through adjustment on the fringe in men’s hairstyles as well as women’s.

People are constantly attempting a new transformation for an attractive appearance. Human efforts to pursue beauty continue with the history with various forms regardless of gender and routinized. Combined with Korean wave, the Korean cosmetic market is facing a golden age in the history of cosmetics in the current popular cosmetic trend. Regardless of gender everyone use cosmetics. Until now mass cosmetics or used by the recommendation of the others, every person skin, and skin sensitivity is different, that a long-term and substantial efficacy require should be satisfactory than focusing on a temporary effect. Depending on the legal dose effective ingredients in personal skin from within can help the skin, desire to use cosmetics for your own needs as well as the well-known cosmetics brand in Europe and America and other developed countries are ready for customized cosmetics and this will be influencing the Korean cosmetics industry. Research on the current alignment of the customized cosmetics is measured and entered into the individual's skin condition survey and create a services platform to ensure the proper prescription. The purpose of this study was to investigate the development of personalized cosmetics for each individual skin. A survey of 415 people was conducted to research each individual skin problems and skin care products and experienced side effects. It can be predicted to identify any inconvenience and needs of customers while using cosmetics and without distribution costs that personalized cosmetics can maintain the freshness and prolong the shelf life, such as reducing skin irritant preservatives. As the customized cosmetics are annually growing, the interest in customized cosmetics potential and marketability is rising that more diverse methods are necessary to meet the individual skin needs and customized cosmetics.

In today's society where men are also very generous to their appearance presentation ways or range and change actively, this study tries to find the correlation between recognition and actual conditions of makeup for men and influential factors, depending on the genera characteristics of men's skin and color makeup, such as age, final education, occupation, and marriage, in order to built the actual data for the development of the beauty industry. In addition, the purpose of the study is to contribute to the efficient growth and development of the future market and to the proper application of makeup for men. To achieve that, this researcher had conducted the survey of self-administered questionnaire with 200 men living in Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do from Jun. 22 to Jul. 5, 2016. The effective 199 copies of questionnaire were used for analysis. The results are presented as follows: The interest in color makeup for men was analyzed. 31.7% of them were highly interested in color makeup. There were statistically significant differences depending on age, final education, occupation, and marriage (p<.01). More specifically, those aged less than 30 had high interest. Those who were going to two-year college or already graduated, students and those with professional occupation were relatively highly interested in color makeup. Unmarried men were relatively higher interested in skin makeup than married ones.

This study has classified the aesthetic characteristics of romantic images in baroque paintings into naturalness, exoticism, sensuality and ornamentation and discovered that modern make-up has evolved under the influence of these aesthetic characteristics. As a result, naturalness affected natural make-up which pursued a natural and comfortable look without artificial details. Exoticism affected oriental make-up which creates exotic images in the East, Inca, Ancient America and Africa with yearning for the unknown world, expressing glossy and dark skin tones and using strong colors. Sensuality expresses a sexual desire. It affected the make-up which emphasizes femininity and uses intense red color. Ornamentation makes people more attractive. It affected the make-up which uses fancy ornaments, colors and materials.
